Gerber was the perfect choice for my repair! They made the entire process so easy and convenient. They worked seamlessly with my insurance and the car rental company. They helped me fix things that were unrelated to my insurance claim and they even cleaned my car! It looks and feels brand new again. Highly recommend!

Had to take the car back a few months to a year later because it started to rust where it was repaired. They stood behind their warranty and did a great job at the repair spot and paint matching. Very satisfied!

I have been to this Gerber location a few times now. The first time was after my daughter was in an accident and they were so fantastic to deal with!! I can only imagine how crazy their days can get going back and forth between insurance companies and vehicle owners! And they always treated me with a smile, friendly conversation and repair details that were easy to understand. Honestly, just an absolutely stellar service group!!

Gerber was a great to work with. Jami made it very easy to communicate with Any questions or concerns I was able to get answered quickly and they were always one step ahead. I loved having the link to check on the status of the car. I know these things take time so it was nice to get real time updates during the process. My car looks amazing! They did a great job. I felt like I was picking up a brand new ride. I would recommend them to anyone. They made a crummy situation painless and easy! Thank you Gerber!

What an ugly welcome by receptionist, I couldn't finish a sentence and already got declined. Also they cannot paint a part that is brand new and I bring in??? I guess client is the last priority for them, until there's no work

Their bodywork is sub-par. They are owned by insurance companies. It's nothing against the employees there they are rushed. What do you expect?

Gave them a second chance from a few years ago. On the initial assessment the assessor didn t look at the areas I said were damaged and he informed me if there was more damage he would submit it to the insurance. Upon picking up my vehicle, half the work wasn t done and the assessor informed me insurance had decided to not do the work because it would total it no one informed me of this change. I just went to pick up my car and it was half done. When I got home I noticed a piece of my bumper was missing and I reached back out. Since then I ve been ignored. So none of my issues are resolved. Stay away when there are so many better body shops around

Truly great service from start to finish. Initially calling for an appointment was easy along with receiving the estimate for the work to replace a cracked mirror. Installation was very easy to wait for my repair. Great follow through too. Would recommend them to anyone.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

To preface my review, I use to love this place! Any kind of body work, I would always recommend as they took care of me before multiple times. Today, I Walked in to get a quote for a piece of trim and was told they were a couple weeks out for estimates . Are you serious? I had the part in my hand and no one was available to look it up and even get back to me? Garbage customer service. Obviously this place went downhill. Will be sure to never recommend or come here again.

I had a claim opened here after I was rear ended. They only have one person for estimates and if that is not a time that fits your schedule they cannot help you. I even explained my situation to the scheduler but she kept scheduling me for dates, I specifically had informed her I could not make. Front desk person was condescending. Not happy with their customer service.

Gerber has been highly recommend to m for multiple things. This location however outdid themselves and those recommendation. They were very friendly and honest customer service was amazing. I had the pleasure of working with McKinley and he was wonderful he got my car taken care of and back to me before the estimated date which was January 7. I will be receiving my car back December 31. McKinley went above and beyond to make sure my car returned how I brought it. I highly recommend them.

I had to have my windshield replaced due to a crack. My insurance referred me to Gerber and I am extremely happy with the service I was provided. My technician Omar went above and beyond. He was able to meet me within a time frame that met my schedule. In the reception area the lady working there was very courteous and friendly as well. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thank you!

I went to this location as it was recommended by my insurance company back in November 2019. The repair cost for the job (fix paint chip and repaint my driver side front fender) was cheaper out of pocket then my insurance deductible. I went to the location and I worked with Nick for the repair. He was real helpful and the job had a fast turn around time. I went back to this location in February 2020 to get my paint work redone as it was slightly off color but the entire staff was more than welcome to redo the work on my car free of charge since it was apart of their lifetime warranty. I am very pleased because the outcome looks amazing. The paint work matches the original and I will definitely love to come back to this location for any future work I will need. Thank you

They provided a quote within 20 minutes for a new side mirror. The price was $2000.00. Crazy price, they did provide me other option I could pursue on my own, which was nice of them.

It doesn't get an easier here. They totally take care of you and your vehicle!! Jamie at the front is awesome!! They let you know whats going on every step of the way! I would definitely recommend Gerber to everyone I know.

The entire experience was excellent. Staff was pleasant , prompt and courteous. Theo was a perfect representative for what the company stands for. Each time I called in the receptionist we're all so pleasant.Wish them many more happy customers

If I could give 100 starts to this location, I would!!! They go above and beyond there duties, and are truly caring to people s situations. I was helped through the whole process!!! Once I got to Enterprise after I dropped my car off I was informed of the wrong pricing for my rental prior to my reservation. I had to have enterprise bring me back to Gerber in Joliet and they were in total shock about what happened to me. They told me they would take care of me in the beginning but I wasn t expecting what was coming next! They called enterprise back and PAID for my entire rental fee!!! I can t express how much I would recommend this location. Tiffany and Ed are AMAZING at there job but just over all amazing people!! I am a single mother of 3 and this helped me sooo much!!!! Thank you Tiff and Ed!!!! Y all are AMAZING!!!

Customer service was ok. The contract stated 4 days of completion. Got a call on the 4th day and was told because of the disassembley the car won t be ready for 3 more days. 3 days later I was told because of the holiday and other custom paint jobs on other cars my car wouldn t be ready for 2 more days. When I pick up the car the colors didn t match. I don t understand why they just didn t go to Chevy and get the right color. They added work that wasn t in my original estimate. Because they were trying to blend the colors so it won t look jacked up. I will contact my insurance company.

I came here, among other auto body shops, to get an estimate for a damage repair. The blonde at the front desk seemed extremely inconvenienced since my information was not already in the computer system. Robert, an estimator, was very friendly and remembered me from a visit I had made 2 days prior. Unfortunately, another male came outside to provide an estimate for my car. Once he heard that I would be paying out of pocket, he wanted to know the estimates I received from other facilities. When I questioned why, he was very rude and told me to go somewhere else.
