Did my a/c 2 years ago on another vehicle they were excellent then and they are excellent now had to bring my truck in for exhaust work they are straight forward won t rip you off and honest shop! I want to give Amerimex and their staff a big shout out. My 2013 KIA Sorento was not drivable. I had an accident and it had other issues. I had it towed there at around noon. I was expecting a call back later that day and for the work to take a few days after that. They were able to immediately check the vehicle, call me, text me pics of the issue, and inform me of what it needed just to get it going with options on what I should do in the near future to fix the rest of the issues. After a thorough explanation, I decided to get almost everything done that it needed. Again, I expected the amount of work to take several days. By the end of that same day, an hour before they closed, they reached out to let me know my vehicle was ready. WOW! My wife and I can't believe how well it drives. They even told me that once I get some new tires, they'll re-do my alignment at no charge. We were thinking about getting rid of my Sorento but now we're definitely going to keep it. Great Job guys and Thanks for the quick response and work. I'll definitely keep going for all my car needs.

There very fast and reasonable on prices as well! I been coming here off and on for years they always get the job done and usually beats any price i come to them about! This is the worst freakin place. I had a 5 star review which I deleted for them. New tech here is trash. Dropped the car off at 7AM, no calls during the day. Lies he checked and it is what I told him in morning, after calling all day giy picks up the phone at 4PM, when they are closing at 5. And wants few more days. I would never go here. People do not go.

I do not recommend this place for anything!I took my car in at 8am for a simple oil change.I was told at the most it will take 2 hours, not only was my car not worked on I was not notified.I had to call to get a status update, I pick up my car at 2pm and still not done!Any company that does not value your time does not deserve your money!Service: Oil change

I called Saturday morning and brought my car in at 2pm on a Saturday. They did my drums and shoes for a great price and I was able to pick up before they closed at 5! Really nice and super quick!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Very efficient shop my car was in and out in a couple hours had rotors and brake pads replace I wish I could give them 5 stars but they charge me for 4 hrs of labor it is way too much.

If I could give this place 0 Stars right now I would give them 0 !!! We had my son's car towed there and ask them to diagnose two problems one under the hood and a clanking underneath we thought was a sway bar but we needed it diagnosed. We pick up the car and it's making the same exact clanking sound underneath they never even diagnosed underneath the car tried to say that they don't do any muffler work which the other one said was a lie standing right there. They wasted our time ordering parts fixing something underneath that didn't even fix the problem and then they come to tell us that they didn't even diagnose it underneath the car !!!! They wasted our time!!! The girl at the desk is a joke, She sat on the phone on a Personal call for like 15 minutes before I politely asked her to get off of the call and give me my receipt. She thought I cant understand Spanish yes I do !!! if you want your car fixed right don't waste your time getting parts, And having things done that aren't even fixing a problem !!! Then I asked to speak to the owner, And supposedly that can't be done !!!

I went in for a alignment. One tire was giving a problem which would not align correctly due to front end accident. They told me it was as good as it was going to get. I agreed. For some reason the head mechanic did not want to give up and fabricated a solution to get my tires as straight as an arrow. To top it off he didn't charge me xtra! That's looking out for your customers. They are honest people and I highly recommend Amerimex!

My father introduced me to this shop, and thank god he did. Damage occurred to my GTI and VW was going to charge me $140 for an inspection and gave me an estimate of $4,000. Amerimex however quoted me $1100 and no cost for inspection. I was so god damn happy and even happier with the results. Car is running good as new and was only in the shop for 5 days. I guarantee if I had left it at VW for repair I'd still be waiting just for parts to come in. Thank you everybody at Amerimex. You've gained another loyal customer

This is just my opinion for what happened to me I send my wife to this place so they can fix a rusty muffler is like 3 feet long I toll her call me went they tell you the price so I was so surprised they want 90 dollar. I'm a mechanic but I don't have a welding machine so if I know I will do it for my self. I toll her to leave to go some where else. On the other place they charge her 45 dollar. I don't want nothing free but I want a fair price. For my too much for just 3 feet of pipe

Best muffler shop in Joliet. I can't tell you how many times I've brought my Challenger here in the last year or so. Joel has pretty much done my whole exhaust over and offers great prices you probably won't beat anywhere else for the quality of work done. And the girl at the front desk who also works on cars (I'm sorry, I didn't get your name) is very pleasant and always gives good customer service. I can't speak highly enough about this place.

The most honest people work here!! They saved me from spending an arm and a leg!! The awesome receptionist woman was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly!! Will definitely be coming here for All my car work!!!
