My car was having transmission problems so I got another transmission and I wanted them to swap it they did the swap in a timely manner I paid them for that $1520 then they couldn t flash the used transmission so without telling me or calling me they swapped the computer from my original transmission into the used one charging me 632 dollars extra and it still didn t work there and they pretty much told me to take It to the dealership avoid this shop if you have a vw Audi take it a european specialist that being said I have a cooling pump that is shorted out that is blowing a fuse and causing other codes that they figured out that the was the only helpful thing they did besides telling me to take it to the dealership . I also recently noticed the coolant light on and it was on before noticed the lower radiator hose was reinstalled incorrectly and loose

Great folks, very pleasant and very detailed in explanation. Not to mention once they fix the issue, they retest for emissions so nothing left for you to do but order your renewal sticker. The price seemed a little high based on what I saw online but for what I received and the fact they give you a free loaner, I'm ok with the price. Would definitely go again although I hope it's a while before I need to. :-)

Lack of communication on their part. Car their for 3 weeks and only called me once. I had to keep calling for updates. They did a $1000 worth of repairs that I did not approve and they think that was ok. 10% discount for doubling my bill without permission. Not cool.

The service and customer care were outstanding! I highly recommend!!! I had difficulty with the emissions testing. I took my car to AACCEL emissions (across the street from the emission testing center in Joliet, illinois) and they got me in right away, maintained communication and fixed the car quickly. They even brought the car to the emissions testing center for me and the car passed. All this in 1.5 hours. Fantastic! I will go back!!!

Excellent excellent service! Parking brake malfunction error was coming up out of no where. Took to one mechanic then to AACCEL where they were able to diagnose and fix the indicators. Complete life savers. I noticed the little things added as well once I picked up my car. Drove away a happy camper.

My son recommended AACCEL for a muffler problem i was having I took it to them with an appointment of course and they had fixed within 30 minutes at a very acceptable price.Crystal the girl who runs the front desk so very nice and professional.I will be a repeat customerI highly recommend aaccel.

I took my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 in to AACCEL, they finally got me in and fixed my truck so I could pass the emissions test and if passed with flying colors, I am so grateful! My truck running very smooth. I recommend my friends and family to take their vehicle in there if they have a problem Friendly staff, did a great job on my truck, I will not make AACCEL my go to mechanic from now on,3 days after getting my truck back from AACCEL the engine light came back on and I put my OBD scanner on it and the code was PO446 and that s the Evap emission system fuel vapor leak . After they charged me $1040.33 .I called them and they said bring it back in and they will do a smoke detector on it , I asked how much would that cost?they said they won t know until they get it in the garage?it s like the the Thousand dollars I gave them should have covered that in the first place, I bought a smoke detector and do it myself . I am sorry to say but I changed my review on them, they changed all 4 O2sensor s and just cleared the computer brain of all codes so it would pass the emission test. The receipt was vague about what they all did to my Chevy Silverado, hope people find this useful

I figure any shop should be able to repair a car satisfactorily. The question is whether we feel like we got a fair deal, at a fair price, from people who are friendly, professional, and honest.I've had my car back 3 days and it performs as expected. When it comes to the quality of service and people, these place are most definitely TOP NOTCH I came in with an emergency close to their closing time, and they got me in and out with no problem. I wasn t too sure how I d make it home. All smiles, great mechanics, great people

A very good business that knows how to treat people like family. Organized, sophisticated, friendly people who know how to get the job done. the owner has a great team that is willing to work with all their customers. Each member goes above and beyond with the best care And fed friendly attitude towards their job. I recommend all my family and friends to go to them and I will most definitely continue to do so.

Craig & Crystal are the best I have taken 2 cars to them and they are trustworthy and get the jobs done they have fixed both of my cars and are up and running great!!!!! I definitely recommend coming here!

If it was possible to put a 6 stars I would. The workers here are very nice and understanding. They have amazing prices and fixes that get done quick. If you ever need your car fixed I would 100% recommend Accel!!

I brought my vehicle in for testing on 04/13/23 to determine why my engine light was displayed. Chrystal advised me of the process and gave me an estimate of what to expect if repairs were needed. I was provided a loner car while they investigated the problem. Within two days, they identified the problem, made the repairs and were able to successfully pass my car on the emissions test. I was satisfied with the work which was clearly explained to me by one of the mechanics. They even identified a situation with my battery I wasn't aware of and were willing to resolve. Despite having a little more work done than I expected, I am very happy with the results.Service: Auto emissions testing

Took my 18 yr old Cadillac to Aaccel after it had failed emissions test. They were able to find the problem with the brake boost hose. They gave me a free loaner! Great Shop, great staff. Needed to pass emissions and they ran all kind of tests. They fit me in during the holiday season and they did amazing. Fixed a few things and got me to pass emissions. Have a few other things I want done and I will be returning for all my vehicle needs. Not often you can find an honest, affordable, knowledgeable shop who won't screw you around! My engine was making a knocking/rattling sound and thought it might be an engine knock. They inspected the engine and found a broken bolt. They repaired that as well as a small oil leak. They also did a transmission fluid change. Saved me from having to get a new engine, or car. Everyone there is super nice. Crystal in the office is awesome!! Super friendly and helpful. The owner Craig is super knowledgeable and they have very fair pricing. Definitely would take any vehicle owned to them.Service: Engine repair
