The employees in Jacksonville took care of my son when he was broken down and stranded 1000 miles from home on the interstate in 100�+ heat. After we got a tow truck to take him to autozone for what we thought would be an easy repair, (it wasn't) an employee got a friend who is a mechanic to help him diagnose and repair his vehicle to get him home as well as give him a ride to get something to eat and take him to a motel. These employees and their friends went above and beyond to help a stranded kid and we feel extremely blessed that he broke down where he did with these amazing people. I went to buy a headlight bulb for my car they were very helpful. An employee named Chris helped me install it. Needless to say it was not an easy process, but he saw it through. Maybe the best customer service I've experienced.

I don't like leaving bad reviews and I won't say anything rude . Staff needs to be better trained especially the managers in the field of Automotive parts. This was a very embarrassing trip. 2 managers and couldn't even look up a certain lug nut size.

Thankful for the gentlemen who helped us try and figure out what was going on with our A/C this morning. I did not catch their names, but they were wearing the red shirts (not gray). Appreciated both those guys helping my husband out.

Scott and Tony went above and beyond to help our family when our van broke down and we were stranded. We couldn't be more thankful and grateful for this store, their incredible customer service, and expertise in helping us resolve the issue. Their knowledgeable staff got us back on the road in no time!

So here s a story. I was driving in the rain and one of my windshield wipers broke. I stopped at this location to have them replace. And I can say. This has been the best service I ve ever received at any auto place. The staff was friendly and found out what I needed and replaced it for me. Then I asked to speak to the manager. The store manager Scott was pleasant and I thanked him for the service him and his staff provided me. Will recommend them to anyone. Way to go autozone for getting it right.

Went to order an alternator because mine was obviously bad. Had them test it while on the car one guy is using an older needle style volt meter. One of his coworkers comes out and ask why he s using the old school one. He say if it works why not? Well obviously he didn t know what he was doing because he told me it was fine. He said it was as putting out about 13 volts and was steady, not surging up and down. Before I left I googled the voltage my alternator should be putting out and it said 14-14.2v. Not 13. So I go home, get my digital voltmeter and check it. It 12.8v and 11.7v with radio and fan on.Needless to say I didn t order the new one from them. After replacing it I took the old one in to be tested at Autozone again, this time off the car. I m took them more than 15 min to figure it out but finally confirmed what I already knew - it was bad.

The people at this store are amazing especially AMBER. We were having trouble finding a clutch kit for my grandson's dodge Dart. This amazing young lady went above the call of duty and found us one. We live in Gibbs Mo.. on her only day off she got her family up at 5am drove over 2hrs one way to get our part to Qunicy, Illinois by 7:30am. We would like to thank her very much. Auto Zone in Jacksonville, Illinois you rock

We were in Jacksonville, IL for baseball tournament when my alternator went out on my car. We live in KY so was 4hours away from home. We walked to auto zone to see if they knew anyone that could help us fix the alternator. Mind you this was a Saturday morning around 9am. Scott at auto zone and the other employees went out of their way to call every mechanic they knew in town. My son was starting pitcher that day and his game started at 945am. They knew how important it was for me not to miss game so was willing to give me a ride to game while they continued to try and find someone to work on my car. Another employee that works there was Paul. Paul was not due in for his shift until 11am. Paul came in early before his shift to work on my car and get the alternator replaced. They were busy and Paul was able to finish repairing my vehicle in between customers. The customer service was beyond exceptional. Without these employees I would have been stuck in Jacksonville longer than I had planned. I have so much gratitude for their help. They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was phenomenal!

We bought replacement wipers and while my husband was standing the rain replacing them one of the employees came out and offered his help. He was able to do it so quickly and with a friendly attitude it was great!

I bought a alternator there There was a problem with the new one I got.A pulley the old one had on it wasn't on the new one. I had already turned in the core and they had sent it off to be refurbished . The manager Tony was far less than nice or helpful. Not willing to even try to correct the problem. He went so far as to suggest the old one didn't have the extra pulley on it. This was because he couldn't look up the part. I informed him one of his workers (Tim)saw the extra pulley and knew it was there. I also pointed out one of Autozones online techs found the part number. II seems bad the manager isn't knowledgeable enough to look up parts. I asked if since they had my pulley if the y could get it back, he immediately said he couldn't I asked if they could at least sell me a new one at cost, being they couldn't return mine. He said he wasn't able to do that because he couldn't look up the cost. What kind of manager wouldn't be able to look up the cost .Tony tried to talk over me. I told him I was done doing business with them. I have had ten times better service at Oriley auto parts, said good by and hung up!

Fast friendly service. My wiper blades were shot and it was raining after a trip to Prompt Care. They installed new blades for me right away. I'll be going back.

One of Jacksonville Illinois employees is by far of the best I have ever had wait on me. I am not sure what the young ladys name is, but I think her name is Dana. She is very helpfull and go's the extra mile to see that you have everything you need for the progect you are working on. Unlike the store manager who i was trying to return a gas tank and fuel pump that I had ordered on line. He was going to refuse to exchange it for me, untill they contacted Dana at home. She told him of where the reciept had been placed. The order had been payed by credit card, so I didnt have a reciept, I understand his reluctance about the return, but the packing was marked Autozone and had the address of where it had been shipped from. He just gave up on trying to help me and walked away. Anyway my point being that the young lady would make a much better choice for store manager Iwill continue to purchase items from her.'s

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had to deal with the lady behind the counter was so rude and unprofessional. She told me to hurry up she didn't have all day to help. Got my parts from another parts store will never return. They should be ashamed to have someone like that helping. No stars if i could.

Was told my part and tool was in stock get there paid for everything than waited 25 minutes for the guy to tell me tool is gone and have to order part waited all next day for their call at5 pm i call them and my part was there...smh!

we were on a 23 hour road trip when our wiper failed. well after finding an auto zone the employee put it on in the rain free of charge ... it was greatly appreciated !! keep up the good work autozone

Ordered calipers for my truck was told they would be in about 9 in the morning. Called at 11 and told they wouldn't be in till 4. Called at 4 they wont be in until the next day meanwhile my truck is sitting on jacks until I can get my parts 2 days. Ridiculous
