I would say Nussbaum transportation is a very fair company to drive for. The Company is owned by us, the employees. Because it is owned by us it doesn't matter if you drive a truck, are in operations, maintenance or administration, we all work together for a greater purpose and treat each other with respect.The pay is very good and includes minimum guarantee pay, door to door not zip to zip miles pay, detention pay, layover/breakdown pay, pick up pay, delivery pay, trailer relay pay, trailer shuttle pay, and bonus pay.Getting home weekly is important to me and my family. Operations knows it is important and does everything in their power to get me home. You can of course stay out on the road as long as you like.Without getting too detailed we have an Employee Stock Option Plan, 401k with match, full coverage health insurance including health, dental, and vision plans. paid vacation, 8 paid holidays, and more.I believe in my heart there is not a better company to drive with.

Fantastic company. The drivers aren t just a number. It s a very family oriented company and they truly deliver what they promise. A lot of trucking companies tell you anything to get you in the door then throw you out. This is NOT who Nussbaum is. Such a great company! Very honored to work with such an awesome group of people!

Been here for almost 3 months on their Morton salt dedicated, best place to work for by far! Working with my recruiter from the beginning, to working with my account manager, safety, and shop now, everyone I ve talked to has a positive attitude and makes you feel like an individual instead of a number, Christian values a huge plus, awesome equipment they keep up on, great pay, decent miles with a guaranteed minimum if you have weeks where you don t get a lot of miles(happens to me often being on a 3 state dedicated) I plan on being here the rest of my career!Update: it s been over a year on the account and still loving it! They stay true to everything they say!

Very professional driver u guys have. Driving 63mph the whole time but speed up to 68 to not letting other truck to pass him just to prove he s an axxhole? Not once or twice but for over 40 minutes he s doing it for fun huh ? On I 80 west near annawan pls have ur driver check see if he got any mental health issues that s just pure stupid move and could possibly starting a road rage and end up to be a unnecessary accident

I really enjoy driving for Nussbaum. They treat people like people, and not just an asset. I've never been called by a number, or been lied to. Honest, friendly and faithful company.

I am so happy to work for Nussbaum. Now I am eager to hop in the truck and go. It just feels great. Compared to my last job, I have lots of home time now. I go 2 days one week and 3 days the next and nice normal 2 day weekend, actually it amounts to nearly 3 days if you count the hours from stop to start with the truck. Home family time is extremely important to me and Nussbaum makes that possible. So, with all the extra time now, I am always happy to help out filling in for another driver when needed. That's what I love about Nussbaum, we all look out for each other. Great people, great communication and great purpose. Now I have a nice steady income and our bank account has been growing back up every week since I started with Nussbaum.I will be pleased to work for Nussbaum for as long as they will have me. And when the time comes, I would be honored to eventually retire as a Nussbaum driver. Thank you Nussbaum and may God bless you.

Was! and still is a good company I just left because delicate family matters and I really let them know about my situation and I had to look for a quick solutions and at the end they didn't get this seriously because when I applied for other companies I have negative remark (left without notice) from Nussbaum. Other than that, the people's there are very friendly and family atmosphere. They really take good care of their equipments and great facility as well. God keep blessing the Nussbaum family and I really recommend this company.

Been with this company for 1 month as of September 23 and my expectations have been far exceeded. Great team to drive for. They care about their drivers and offer many ways for advancement on your career. Give plenty of time for deliveries too so all the stress of driving as fast as possible is gone.

I left in 2022 and regret it everyday. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Take it from me, this is best company you ll ever work for. Sure you can make more money elsewhere, but I ve learned money doesn t buy happiness. I still consider Nussbaum a home and still wear their gear still to this day.

Where can I start from start to finish or actually to this point it has been a very great experience the trucks are great the people Are Awesome and I love the sign on bonus and the guarantee pay the office to me looks like a country vacation home more than a terminal and you can't ask for more with a company that you work for and they are definitely all about family and faith and that's a nice change from what I've been used to I would highly recommend Nussbaum to any new driver or a driver with years under his belt just call and talk to Saige she was a great recruiter and did not steer me wrong and told me everything up front which is very different!!

I don't work for nor have I ever used this company before, but one of their trucks is delivering appliances to a new apartment complex next door to where I live. I spotted the truck and the scripture on the side of the trailer and was instantly uplifted. May God continue to bless this company.

CJ was very nice about answering all of my questions and was actually knowledgeable about a piece of equipmentin the cab.Really wanted to work for this company but I can't afford to wait 2 months to get into orientation! And I was extremely disappointed with the fact that they don't allow cats in their Pet Policy!!

I found Nussbaum through Freightwaves and have started in the industry through them. Between their CDL school, orientation, and extensive training program I really feel set up for success. All company communication and direction I have seen has been very consistent in alignment with their stated values. This is a place I think I can stay for a long time!

As a newer driver who has been driving right at at year. you hear a lot of nightmare stories about trucking companies that will promise you something and it be totally different from the time you start out with them. But I can say Nussbaum has been nothing but great to me so far. They stand by the family culture they talk to you about and know that this isn't just a job its a way of life. We are out here doing this day and night and away from our families and they realize that. My recruiter was awesome. My Driver Manager is great and very responsive, Everyone is. If your looking for a trucking company doing it right and values its drivers give Nussbaum a opportunity you won't be disappointed.

I love the presentation from the CEO so much that it may be emotional. They don't hire team drivers because they don't. My husband and I would love to drive for this company someday

This is a great company to work for they are a well run organization that actually cares about the people and drivers they hire (imagine that a trucking company that actually cares about it s truck drivers) they treat you like family here Nussbaum has really good pay, great benefits and good miles and they get you home time when you need it the trucks are clean run smooth and well maintained the mechanics here are really good at their job I m very proud to be apart of Nussbaum I just wish I had made the transition sooner

Been here a couple of months now. People are nice miles are pretty good pay is good. Don t like driving days but adapting not home on a consistent routine like I would like to be. Thankful to be employed. Not sure if this is the right fit for me long term. Be ready to roll roll roll. Your clock will be utilized to its maximum potential every week here. Sometimes the delivery and pick up times seem to be unreasonable, communication is key here and screenshot your texts so if you need to reverify or clarify anything.

Nussbaum is a great company to work for. The Perryville MD GE account managers wasn t a good experience for me. The communication with the supervisors is horrible. The trailers being service was horrible experience as well. The orientation explains a lot about system drivers but not in depth about dedicated account. They 1750.00 a week guarantee which sounds great until breakdown or things happens out of your control. Unfortunately the company has no control of individuals who causes bad experience for employees.

When returning home from East Peoria to Metamora this morning between 06:30 and 06:50, I was pleasantly surprised at how a Nuss' rig (trailer #7298) was being driven on 116.I'm pretty used to trucks pretty much flying on 116, not slowing in GTH, or Metamora...it's not controlled at all.So hey...thanks for running things right on the road.
