I initially bought my battery online to be installed at Tinley Park, but when I arrived, they ended up not having it. So the employee called the Homewood location & I drove there for the battery since they had it in stock. There were two men working at the time, They were both very nice, and they were ready right away when I arrived. The one who installed my battery (I didn t catch his name) was wearing clear glasses, so I want to give a special thank you to him for installing it quickly and without any problems. I was afraid at first because I had to pay an extra fee for a difficult battery installation on my car, but he was able to install it correctly and I m not having any problems so far. Both employees working at the time (01/17/24 @ 9:30am) were very nice though so thank you both for making this a relatively simple process!

Terrible. They refused to comply with a curbside order. They said that they discontinued curbside service, but it is still an option on the website. I'm a terminally ill disabled vet suffering from ALS. They were smug, unapologetic, and lack an important human trait, empathy. As I entered the store in a power chair, I struggled with the door, the two employees at the counter didn't lift a finger to help with the door. I even had to ask for help with the door when I left. Don't go to the Homewood store, go to the Schererville store, they know how to treat customers and disabled customers. In three years since diagnosis, every store, venue, event, etc has been more than accommodating, except for two stores and Homewood Batteries Plus is one of them

I needed a battery replacement for the scale I use to weigh myself and I remembered there is a Batteries Plus located in an area where I would be shopping. The experience was quick and quiet. All I had to do was ask the store rep for the number of the coin battery and he knew his inventory. i also did not know they sold car batteries and I am sure many others are not aware of this service. I engaged in a quick chat with the rep and left with my battery which is what I needed for my scale to stay on top of my weight throughout the holidays and into the new year.

Great customer service even to not so great customers. I had some keys cut and programmed there. Keys that I purchased somewhere else. Immediately afterwards I started having issued where the car wouldn't respond. I was sure it was a programming issue. Even went to the store to rant. The staff was super professional and patient and explained that the keys and fobs were working as expected and the problem was something else. Turned out the starter on the car was defective, just coincidental that it occured at the exact same time that I had those keys made. Anyway those guys were awesome and correlation does not imply causation, LoL.

Excellent customer service!!! DeMarco took care of us, he got us in and out in a few minutes with my new car remote control already installed. This guy is the best!!! He is very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I extremely recommend this location.

These guys are so helpful and nice. I was having car battery problems (or so I thought). I came here with a fully dead battery. Derrick (who is my new best friend) helped me figure out that it was the alternator, not the battery. He jumped me several times to help me get to the car care place down the road. He even offered to help me push it if we needed! Such awesome customer service. I ll definitely be back to buy my next battery there.

I was very impressed with the service I received. Each staff member that I interacted with was very professional and knowledgeable about my issues which was replacing an IPhone 6S battery. The service was prompt, I only had to wait about 45 minutes and the price I paid was fair. I used the online service to book my appointment and received $10 off my bill. I would highly recommend this crew that was working there today.

Very friendly, courteous and efficient. I needed a 27 DC Marine/Deep Cycle battery for my Aquanot backup sump pump. They had them in stock, and I was able to pick it up in 20 minutes. Price was very competitive. Pleasant to do business here.

I went here to pick up a battery for a cordless phone. They did not have it at this store but was able to get it delivered the next day from another store. The worker called me and let me know once it arrived. The only issue I had was that I ordered it on a Monday morning when it first opened and I didn't get a call that it arrived until the next day in the afternoon when he told me it would be there earlier. It was still an ok experience and I would go back.

It's my favorite store for watch batteries, light bulbs and accessories. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In many cases they go the extra mile to help solve or remedy a problem. That is exactly what the manager did for me with my last purchase of a marine battery for our sump pump. I am very pleased and satisfied with their service and range of products.

They fixed my shattered iPad screen over a year ago, and it s worked as good as new ever since. They were very friendly, price was reasonable and it didn t take them very long to fix it. I would definitely recommend others to come here if you need a screen repaired!

The reason for my score was the teamwork I observed. I walked into the store and was immediately assisted by Kevin. He was professional and efficient. Kevin got the batteries I requested and installed one of them. When I tried to use the automatic starter I bought the battery for, my car didn't start. Another employee (didn't get his name) jumped right in, worked on my fob and it worked!

Last week I brought my watch in to replace the battery. The service was great and the technician was fast at his work. I go about my day and 2 days later I realize my watch had water in it. I called to talk to someone and they literally said to me it's not their fault and too bad.

I went there to get some information for a battery for my car remote. The two guys that were very knowledgeable and even though I didn't buy another battery at least I understand what is going on with my remote. The place was orderly and clean and the customer service was exceptional. I recommend this location because when you're looking for information, the last thing you want to hear is "I don't know". In addition to information on the battery, the associate gave me information about the remote that I have, and the problems that he knew the remote to have. Very helpful!

They fixed my IPhone 8+ a couple weeks ago. Simple, fast, and to the point. I received my phone in no more than an hour of waiting. I would definitely recommend!

My mobile screen was badly damaged after my daughter dropped it on the sidewalk. I thought for sure the phone wasn't salvageable. The Homewood Batteries Plus was able to get it back up and running within a few hours. The were friendly, quick and efficient. The price was a great deal too! Thank you!

Don t get your phone fixed here, I got my galaxy s8 fixed for a simple crack and ever since that day my phone has been having major defects included my screen blacking out and my restarting over and over again which it has never done before. I had to take my phone back at least 3 or 4 times I paid the first 2 times and the last time they refused to fix it even though I had a warranty claiming it s not their fault when my phone never had any issues prior to them messing with it. Don t trust them and their warranty is terribly. Tried to make me pay for a new battery in my phone when they are the reason my phone started malfunctioning in first place... terrible service

DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE REPAIRED HERE. I cracked my screen and I went in to get a screen and battery replacement. Used Apple Pay that same day and the phone stopped responding to touch. Took it in to get it repaired the screen stopped touching again, took it in again to get a whole new screen and the phone still isn t touching. The shop owners are insisting that I broke Apple Pay myself when I dropped the phone, however you don t need the screen to use Apple Pay and I was using Apple Pay up until the very minute before I dropped the phone off. The only thing on the phone that did not work was half of the led display. Now I m forced to restart my phone everytime I have to use Apple Pay. It s simply not worth the hassle and the men are not helpful at all the only thing they re telling me is that there is something wrong with the board but they are the only ones that have touched the phone board. I d find somewhere else to go for battery and screen repairs. Completely not worth it.

Very poor service. Rude, condescending. Never completed the job. Just put in a new watch battery, after I brought back my watch 3 days after having paid for a new one. I will not use nor recommend this place again.

Speedy service, attentive staff. I called prior to arrival and explained everything I needed and saw online. The salesman confirmed he had it in stock and pulled to the side for me. When I arrived they explained everything about the recycling program and were very thorough. No complaints.

Got a battery for my 07 maxima. Ordered online and picked up in store. Kevin installed the battery with ease and I got a core refund. Excellent customer service and experience. I will be coming back.

They exceeded my expectations with regards to customer service. They ran into a very difficult situation for a car battery replacement and instead of letting the situation get worse, they chose to find a solution that could work the problem out. I am very pleased with this location and there friendly and professional staff.

Just a good experience. They helped me out quickly and even gave me a discount when they couldn't fix some cosmetic damage that was entirely my fault. Good people who appear to know what they're doing.

tablet needed a new battery best buy said they could not do it and I have had nothing but the best experience at this batteries store so I tried and John the manager was amazing. I have a small business and am in clients homes all the time and have already and will encourage my clients and networking associates to use the HOMEWOOD this store is far better than the other batteries bulbs they take pride in there work which is hard to find now

This place is a huge rip off. The prices are absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! Customer service was good by bulls@%ters who's trying to convince you to make the outrageous money purchases.

Awesome energy and very helpful personnel. I get my watch batteries here. They have batteries for everything that needs a battery. They also carry light bulbs of all sorts.
