I went in today because I had a very large screw stuck in my tire. The team here at Mavis were amazing! They took their time, checked all my tires, checked my fluidsand wiper blades, etc. They took care of my tire thoroughly and for WAY LESS than expected. After watching them from the sitting room, I was sure I was going to get over charged, but if anything, they under charged me. I highly recommend the team here! Great and thorough service you can trust not to over charge you!!!

Melissa and he mechanics are ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I was with my two kids and blew a tire. I was able to get my car to her shop and she was so friendly and honest. Her mechanics did a great job on my car!! They have amazing customer service!!

Wonderful service. Was driving to work and ended up with a bolt in my tire. Tire was losing air quickly and they didn't have my tires in stock. However, they were kind enough to help put my spare on for me. Thank you so much for all your help!! I was able to continue my trip and can take care of getting a replacement later.

Take your car here if you need a repair!Melissa, the rest of the staff, and mechanics are top notch and trustworthy. I had a complete brake job done today. I ended up paying about $300 LESS than the original estimate. That in itself proves you can trust them. I ve been to other shops in the area over the years and always felt taken advantage of. Mavis has earned another loyal customerThank you!!

TERRIBLE ALIGNMENT EXPERIENCE! I scheduled an alignment service on Sunday before Christmas. Was there on time and employees were friendly. They complete the service in 45 minutes, I picked up the car and left. I realized the car is pulling to the left and was having hard time to drive it straight after leaving the shop. They closed it early due to the holiday and Monday would be OFF. I rescheduled a second alignment service for Tuesday morning at 8 AM. They were sorry for the previous poor service and give me a free alignment service this time taking 2 hours. Left the shop at 10 AM and realized the car is pulling to the right this time. Can t drive it straight, even worse than first time. Couldn t get back to shop immediately because I was already late for the work. I call them and explain the issue, they scheduled me one more time for Wednesday morning. I was there at 8 AM for the third time, and they told me their alignment guy is not there and they can t do anything for the day and I should reschedule it for another day. They also did not refund the amount when I asked for it. Anyway, I left the place, and ended up at another shop. They fixed all only in 30 minutes, provided all the details and explained how they messed up with the alignment before. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I had to have my car towed there because of a dead battery. They worked with me in regards to appointment time, since I was being towed. When I got there the boss lady was on top of everything, from customers, issues in the back, she was on top of it. Price that was quoted for a new battery and installation was the same over the phone as it was when I went to pay. The boss lady and the mechanic both kept me updated since they had to order the battery (which came quickly) very good experience, would recommend, and I would go back. 5 out 5

Mavis Tires gave such outstanding service. They were fantastic especially front desk lady named Melissa was very clear and upfront of what the issue was and what the options were based on the customer. I drive every day long distances and they made sure the rigjt fix for my truck.

Top notch service! I caught a flat with my young daughter in the car and was able to make it into Mavis (it was the nearest shop) 20min before they closed. These wonderful gentlemen still took care of us even staying late to make sure they got us back on the road safely! Staff was very nice, but my tires were graded for 40,000 miles and didn t even make it 5k and refused to explain. Two of my tires are bald in under 5k miles. 5k was their recommended mileage before a rotation. Staff member says yeah the tires you bought were garbage, really a waste of money and then explains that they were installed improperly because they were never balanced or aligned.Still wanted me to pay for new tires despite them telling me that THEY installed my now bald tires wrong.Won t be coming back, waste of my money.

Needed a flat tire fixed. Very courteous staff. Found the small nail and balanced the tire $37 bucks problem solved. Tire pressure light comes on more. Will be back since they do tire alignments.

Bought a brand new tire from this place. They put on a tire I didn't ask for. I let it go because I was already in the parking lot before noticing the brand wasn't right and the price was about the same. The tire gets a bubble within 4 months with limited driving (less than 5000 miles). They won't replace it for free because I didn't get the upcharge "Roadside coverage." OK. Fine. Shame on me for choosing this place.

Mavis was instrumental in installing a spare tire that I otherwise could not get changed on my vehicle. Bob my point of sale was knowledgeable and assisted me in finding a suitable set of tires for my vehicle. I recommend this shop for your tire needs.Derek

They let me go as customer, I went 20min before they close for an oil change, he said could not make it because have someone coming with reservation in 5 minutes. I went jify lube 10min before they close and they gave me service. If you close at 5 should service until 5

Came to get my tires done here at mavis after another shop failed to do so. Melissa up in the front was the best and got me serviced within a half hour and my vehicle fixed immediately. Always get a great deal, amazing service.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this place for car repairs or maintenance. Here's why:Last Saturday, I got four tires replaced at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Hoffman Estates. Since I don't drive much, I didn't notice until Tuesday that one tire had dropped to a pressure of 14, when it should be around 35. I had to go and refill it. Thinking I'd check in over the weekend, I was shocked by what I found. It was unbelievable they insisted it was the car owner's fault and nothing to do with them. What a coincidence, right? So, within a week, I had to replace another tire and pay for it myself. My experience here was beyond disappointing. I had planned to replace four tires, but ended up replacing five. I won't be returning to this shop again. I'd strongly advise steering clear.

Went for a battery and tire check. They reset my tire light and checked my battery for free. In and out in 15 minutes. Appreciate the efficient service

Mike was really great. He was able to get us same day service with a smile. Mike is the man you want to meet with for all of your Mavis service needs. He was able to meet us with a price that was within our budget. He was able to go above and beyond.

Firstly, the website is great, with ease of appointment setting, tires with descriptions, prices and reviews. Melissa, the service advisor, has things organized and works with mechanics to get things done. I liked the prices and tire quality, and honesty during the requested (courtesy?) inspection of brakes and wheel alignment...they even give a percentage of life left in the brakes. Nothing but tires and wheel balance needed (happy surprise). No pressure upselling with tire warranties. I think I'll stick with this place...spread the word.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, brought my car in for a grinding noise and paid them over a grand to replace my brakes only to have my car sound worse. I went back in without even leaving their lot, asked why it still sounded bad. I was told I don't know what to tell you and wouldn't fix the problem which I would have happily paid for while they were supposedly fixing my grinding. I literally left Mavis just to go to another auto shop to finish the job that Mavis just stopped working on and never finished but fully charged me.

I had a truly exceptional experience at the tire shop recently. When I arrived with a flat tire, the staff went above and beyond to assist me. They were not only efficient in addressing my tire issue but also very friendly and courteous throughout the entire process.The tire repair was done quickly and professionally, and I felt like my safety was their top priority. They also gave me some helpful tips on tire maintenance to prevent future issues, which I appreciated.Overall, I can't praise this tire shop enough. The combination of skilled and friendly staff along with an owner who genuinely cares about their customers makes it a standout establishment. I'll definitely be returning for all my tire needs, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of tire services. Outstanding service all around!

I would leave no stars. Staff and management do not know what they are doing. Mechanic was rude and ignorant. Yes, I got rude and ignorant back. When you sell tires you should be able to do an alignment. They told me I had a special car. My car is a normal stock car. They also rounded out a lug nut and sent me home with the bad lug nut. Also said there was not a corporate office. That the mechanic said he WAS corporate. When asking to speak with Kia the manager she handed the phone to the jerk. This place is horrible and ran horribly by manager and staff at this location. What tire shop can not do an alignment? Save yourself time money and aggravation go ANYWHERE ELSE. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! However, Jason in the Lockport store runs his store very well.And just to add I did call the number below and the regional manager has not spoken with me and refused to speak with me. Says I went into the store yelling. I did not go in the store my daughter did as I was sick and my mother was having surgery for cancer. Obviously the regional manager and staff could care less about their customers!!! How do I speak to the president of this company ? I do not want anything other than others to know how poorly this corporation treats customers.

Had a sudden noise in my right front tire, turns out to be a nice screw with a washer. Mavis was so kind to have me come in late before closing time and fixed my tired in no time. Life saver! Melissa is the best!
