Amazing pizza! The staff are friendly and helpful. Nathan and Emma are rock stars! The managers are friendly as well. Great customer service. Bathrooms and whole store are clean, well kept and well stocked. The gaming center was a great stroke of luck. I even found out they are open 24/7 365 days a year!! They have everyrhing travelers may need. Even showers!! Great job, great service, great place in a small little town off interstate 88.

Ahhh, the 10 off I-88. I love stopping here on my way to Wisconsin in the rig. There is a good amount of truck parking, and they have really good pizza.. Seriously, I will go out of my way, in my semi truck, every time I drive through that area. The garlic chicken is my favorite. Also, I like getting a slice of sausage and a slice of pepperoni and mushing them together to make a fat kid special.

I always look forward to stopping here. Their pizza is always amazing. The staff is friendly and all the years I have stopped there either in my semi or personal vehicle I am never disappointed.

Friendly staff. They have actual pizza here, dough is good. Definitely happy I stopped to weigh out here

Ice covered lot, very slick. Clerks inside are NOT friendly. I ordered a pizza; they prepared it and boxed it, put it on their shelf as they continued gossiping amongst themselves... I had to wait for their gossip session to end before I could have my (now cold) fresh pizza. Be very careful if you come here; lots of slick ice covering the semi truck areas.

If you want a good pizza from a truck stop this is the truck stop. They offer great breakfast pizzas and during lunch the garlic chicken pizza is my go to

Stopped here at night. Decent place not the best not the worst. Only needed bathroom and gas so it was alright. Employees seemed nice.

Clean bathroom, good pizza, great service. Better than expected for a midnight stop off the interstate! Definitely would go out of my way to use again if I'm in the area.

HILLSDALE'S BEST KEPT SECRET! I've done coach relays here with the bus company I work for several times. I was here doing that same thing last night (Friday) at 9pm. Usually, at gas stations like this at this time of night, you may go in and use the bathroom, or grab a pop but that's it. Last night, after a long trip back from chicago, I was starving. I saw that they had some pizza slices in the rotating warmer box. They had Sausage, Pepperoni and garlic chicken that were ready to go. I chose the sausage first and noticed when I picked it up with the spatula, it weighed nearly a pound! I chose the chicken and garlic next and noticed the same thing. Now, we all know a weighty slice means nothing if it doesn't pack the flavor. That was not the issue here. The cheese was top notch (EXPLICIT EXTRA CHEESE LOVER'S WARNING!) as was the sauce and seasoning. Everything was perfectly balanced. I've eaten pizza all over the country and I've never had a crust as good as the one at the Hillsdale Shell. It is what pizza dough that is made and baked properly should be like. There was a bit of crispiness on the outside, then, the slightest bit of "chew" that realeased a wave of earthy goodness. It was the kind of crust that you hope your kids don't eat (so you can!). The "meal" cost six dollars and I was sorry I was full because I wanted to try the pepperoni. Well Done!

Diesel is always outrageously expensive here so I never get fuel here. However their pizza is delicious. Like very delicious. The lot is also big and easy to get around. Staff is friendly and place is clean.

Snowflakes no need to come by this place is old school and appreciates their drivers coffee is $1 they are very nice and pleasant and reasonable prices with plenty of parking for its area!

Bathroom dirty, things out of order, no ice in the ice machine but the pizza was good and the ladies that work there on Monday morning September 9 at 6:30 AM are absolutely wonderful.

I had a sausage pizza picked up and brought home, an approximately 20 minute drive. When handed the box it felt awfully light for the size. It appeared slightly over cooked and dried out, with a small section missing any sauce, cheese, or toppings. It tasted ok and had plenty of crumbled sausage but was heavily lacking sauce and cheese, which I suspect made it dry out faster. I will order again, maybe it was an off day, we will find out!

Pizza has plenty of toppings and is rather fresh, not greasy. Shower was hot and high pressure. Danielle was very sweet and cute making service pleasant to deal with and look at. Prices are fairest of any truck stop and the coffee was not great but good. Great stop for drivers! Important to note what pump you fuel from as bio-diesel is available here. Thx for the great experience in these moments of impact shell staff.

This store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and competent. Their breakfast pizza is our family favorite.

Great food here, but the pizza guy is rude , went to ask my total because I drive truck, and run on time limits, and was rudely hung up on. 8-17-21 3:45pm was going to order more things as well but I was hung up on so decided to just keep my order at two pizzas.

Good place to go to get gas along interstate 88! Prices are cheap on everything which is very nice! Staff is friendly and nice! This place would get five stars but this place needs a renovation and badly the floors in the store make it look dingy! The bathrooms really need some work as well! If they could do that this place would be great!!!

NASTIESTMen's room ever! I cannot believe this place is allowed to stay open! I cannot imagine how gross the stalls look, as I made it only to the urinals, and one was out of order. The sinks were nasty as well. Mold growing everywhere. Where is the owner's pride??? I would not eat anything made in house or, at risk of some germ disease spreading, the Subway that is next door, either!Keep driving. Avoid the pizza. Sterling / Rock Falls is just a bit further to go.

Very friendly staff! Awesome pizza and well worth the money. They don't skimp on toppings! Amazing donut's but, you have to get there early or they'll be gone!

A place where they watch you walking through the store.. But stare you down like you are a criminal... Nothing to eat but Old Hot dogs... Burnt Pizza... They like to block the Aisle off in the store at night because they are worried they have to clean up...Pretty backwoods alright.. They might be friendly in their own way...The diesel pumps are not clearly marked.. You have one Diesel pump as it is NON BIO and more expensive.. The other two are marked BiO and of course the less expensive.. Pretty Sneaky.. But that is the Shell Way...the food is nothing to get excited about they must be paying everyone to post good reviews.. I felt very unappreciated won't recommend this place

Pizza is absolutely delicious! Friends of mine bought us pizza from here and I thought is was from a different pizza restaurant OMG the crust wasn't doughy and it was thick in toppings and perfect amount of cheese!!!

Best pizza for miles! Their buffalo chicken pizza is the best I've ever had. Store and washrooms are clean, even if a tad crowded.

The bathrooms are the nastiest I've seen from China to Detroit. If you need to find a place to pee, you're better off finding anything anywhere else. One positive, the movie the hills have eyes was filmed here, at least that's what was written in human feces on the walls in the bathroom.
