I love this place!! They do great work, they are honest and upfront about the costs. They e don t try to sell you service you don t need. The technicians are awesome! Mando the manager is the best!! Really cares about his customers and his workers!!

Midas of Highland Park has done all the service on all three of my vehicles for at least the last five year. They are fantastic! They are reasonably priced and the work is completed in a timely fashion. The staff is excellent to work with. I would highly recommend using Midas for servicing your car.

Midas on Skokie Rd is an outstanding, professional and reliable shop. They helped me with a flat tire as well with low pressured tires many times.I could not be happier with the service. I highly recommend them, they are reliable, knowledgeable and fair.

I spent over 1K on a muffler. After this was done, i started to hear a noise toward the back of the vehicle. I took it back and they said it was not from the muffler installation and wanted to charge me $700+ for a ball bearing replacement which they claimed was the cause. I declined and took it elsewhere. It turned out it was a metal flap that was pressed against the muffler and cost me $30 to fix. Undoubtedly, they created this situation when they installed the muffler and then tried to rip me off with some other bogus expense. Also, they were supposed to replace the entire muffler, but I found out they left one of the original rusted pieces. See the pics. I will never take my vehicle to this place again.

No appointment fixed a flat and changed out my seasonal wheels quickly and at a fair price. Been going here for years. They're also a Tire Rack installer. Good communication and realistic service.

Have had very positive experiences with Nebo at Midas- he has always taken the time to talk through the concerns we come in with and discuss what are priorities. He has always made sure we are taken care of, and we appreciate all he and his team do!

Went in about 11-12ish to get an oil change and tires balanced/aligned and they really took care of me! Didn't have to wait til the end of the day. They got me in and out and I still had time to take a nap before going to work at 6pm. The employees there were great and I will be back. If you guys had the crew that was there when I went you won't be disappointed.

Overpriced and they always seem to find something wrong with your vehicle. I could have saved thirty dollars for an oil change had I went elsewhere. I will never patronize this place again!!!!!

Went in with a low tire. They found the source of the air leak, fixed it, and installed much needed new wiper blades. Great service, quick service and very fair pricing.

I took my car to this midas to replace the two front tires and was given my car back with the front bumper smashed and dented. The store has yet to take responsibility and will not provide the contact information for the owner. Beware of this store.Service: TiresService: Tires

EDIT: they took the time to call me and try to figure out how to Improve and explained a few things,kudos for that!Took my car for a change of all 4 tires, they couldn t honor the promotion they had online, so I had to get what they had; did also an oil change and they didn t even do a outdoor wash like most places. Few months later one tire starts getting flat. I bring it back and is an automatic $40 to repair it, it turned out to be a valve that apparently just needed to be adjusted, which I believe should have been done as a complimentary service, as a backup of the full purchase I made before.

Go anywhere but here. Did work on my car, never told me they didn t take the only credit card I have. Manager was extremely condescending and acted as if it was my fault that I should ve known they didn t take American Express. He just tell me what it would cost and never showed me any kind of pricing. And checking up I found they were $30 higher on oil changes than even the Infiniti dealers. There s another oil change facility down the street in Highland Park. They were booked up for five days. I see now why. I don t know what other might is dealers are, but I sure won t come back to this one.Services: Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Absolutely wonderful service. I had an idea of what was wrong with my car and figured there would be more. They went over my car, showed me the issues and gave me an estimate in about 10 minutes. They told me what I needed repaired for safety and what could wait, along with prices for everything. I did this all without an appointment. They had all of it done the same day, within a few hours.... they drove me home AND when I needed to come back, PICKE ME UP as well. The shop is clean and well-mantained.Manager Nebo Martinez is the best. I recommend this shop with enthusiasm!Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

The waiting area was clean. The service area was neat when I went to inspect problems. There was a space to charge my devices and work while waiting. Bathroom was clean and stocked. The service was quick and effective. I am so thankful for this business. Previously, I had my oil changes at the dealership. Midas is a game-changer. The waiting room is clean and friendly. They are on time for all my appointments and the manager, Nebo, has made sure to order the filters my car needs so they are ready to go when I bring my car in. In addition to their oil changes, Nebo also helped me to get a tire in a pinch when mine could not be repaired. Highly recommend!Services: Tires, Oil change

The people there is unprofessional and toxic area for employees I be working there for 1 weeks and I left because I can stay any more and weekTo much pressure at job and the people there unfriendly...And before I have 5 star because the manager took my phone to put 5 star review I never see to any other jobJust terrible...

BEWARE - they will lie about their oil change prices and will trick you into buying synthetic oil!!!Dealt with Nate Smith who was deceptive in selling a basic oil change - charged me double the price for synthetic oil and preyed upon an understand I had had with the last experience I was there. I was charged $45 last time and was now charged $93. DO. NOT. GO. THERE. When confronted about the deception, Nate lied and gaslit me.Service: Oil change

Everyone at this location is so kind - Especially Nebo. He got me in, with no appointment and fixed up my car (something another shop had messed up apparently) and didn't even charge me. I called Midas mid-day on Saturday without an appointment. I spoke with Josh over the phone and told him that I needed both headlight bulbs replaced. Josh was very professional and explained what I could expect over the phone. He said that since I didn't have an appointment I may have to wait for a while to get the work done but ensured they would be able to complete the job the same day. Once I got to the shop, they greeted me and helped me very promptly. They explained that they needed to order a bulb for my headlight and that it would arrive within an hour. All-in-all, I was in and out within an hour on a busy Saturday without an appointment! Josh was excellent and informative. I will be back and would recommend anyone to this shop.

This is my go to for car service because of the Manager Nebo! He is trustworthy and was helpful in my applying for a Midas Card to help cover my repairs. The Team is accommodating and completes service timely! Highly recommend!!
