We where traveling on vacation when a antifreeze hose broke on the interstate. I looked online for near by places to potentially fix my vehicle as we were stranded far from home and far from our destination with my 7 year old son and our three giant dogs in the vehicle. No one was able to help, finally I called RK and he was so nice and was able to fit us in so we weren't stranded. He did not have the parts that day but was able to get them the next day and generously gave my whole family a ride to the nearest hotel and was able to get my vehicle fixed the next day!

RK helped us in more than one way when we needed repair on our alternator. It was a huge unexpected expense and the price was right. They went above and beyond with their service. Finally a trustworthy mechanic shop. Thanks again!

Absolutely wonderful shop! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I was having car trouble, when passing through the state. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue, at a really great price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had my oil changed here on my 17 year old classic car. Price was very reasonable and I believe that they took great care with my car. In addition to everyone being very friendly, they did the work while I waited, and finished pretty quickly. I think I've found a place to service my other cars too!

Hands down these guys are the best in town. Towed my truck in on a Saturday morning and they had it back me a couple hours later with a much less expensive bill than I was anticipating. I highly recommend these guys. Quality work very fair pricing and they will not rip you off!

Great experience. Needed an emissions fix and after a quick look was told that (a sensor was not calibrated properly?) Nothing to really "fix" or replace so he only charged me 1/2 hour of labor which was very cool of him. Advised me not to take the car in for testing for a few days to allow the sensor to adjust which was another great bit of info as I was going to drive straight there after leaving the shop. Thank you again. I will be bringing my car to R K Quality Service for regular maintenance.

Honest as the day is long! Thought I needed new brakes, but when they investigated, found it was something much more minor. They saved me a lot of money and reinforced why I continue to go back to RK - they're honest and always treat their customers like Family!

I called RK with a very unusual request. In the process of purchasing a tractor from a Hampshire company on-line (I'm in South Georgia), I was scouring the web to find someone to validate, for a fee, that the tractor was as advertised and the be on site when it was loaded. Roy (the owner) couldn't break away to help me. However, he spent 10-15 minutes of his time talking with me about the company I'm buying from. He had nothing but good things to say about them. His recommendation and the kindness of giving of his time allowed me to proceed with the transaction confident that the purchase is legit and as advertised. Roy comes well recommended as a mechanic. I can recommend him as a gentleman!

I set up an appointment a day before and told what I thought was and he went ahead and ordered the part not knowing if that was the issue. Well sure enough it was and I had my truck back in 4hrs. Really nice owner and very knowledgeable! I will be going back to him

I broke down in side of road with flat tire. Brand new 2020 Acura. Apparently, spare tires are now option you must buy. I didn t realize. RK had me back on the road in less than 12 hours and they didn t even have the tire when I dropped the night before.R K is the place to go anywhere near Hampshire, IL if you want quality service from people you can trust at a competitive price. I was not sure if this would cost arm and leg but didn t hurt the wallet and had me back driving in no time! Thank you R K!

Very fast and efficient putting my new tires on, balancing them also disposing of old ones. Price was exactly as quoted to me over the phone. Reasonably priced. Courteous.

I've been taking my cars here for years. They do great work and are honest. They never try to sell you on repairs or parts you don't need. Prices are fair and the repairs last.
