Two years ago, I had a great experience buying my truck from Gillespie Ford. Today, I had my recall parts replaced and other minor repairs done on my truck, and it was nothing short of the best car service experience ever with their service department. The staff, particularly Michelle, showed great professionalism and top-notch customer care from my initial phone call a few weeks ago to the final touches today.

Get a warranty somewhere else. The finance manager lied about the warranty coverage,now I'm stuck with a vehicle I purchased from them,under warranty, that can't be fixed. Worth the one star that I gave it. Also another vehicle I bought from them,the frame was damaged upon purchase and after finding this out later, they wouldn't allow me to return this way over priced used vehicle. I brought 2 of my brothers in also to purchase vehicles, and was about to bring 2 more in, until they denied me for a vehicle recently. So all 5 of us went somewhere else and bought 4 vehicles,the same day. 3new and 1 used. Will not return to Gillespie Ford in Gurney IL to buy another vehicle ,never again from this company. To many things about the vehicle purchase, that they just don't tell you,upon purchase,that I'm stuck with,to fix on my own,later. I hope this helped someone to make a wise decision in your car shopping journey.

We came here to get my brother a reliable, affordable and quality car and they delivered. Ryan was a real pleasure to work with right from the start, he was insightful, flexible and eager to help us find the car we needed and within our budget. He didn t try to upsell or add any fees and met us exactly where we needed to budget wise. Jeff helped us finance and it was an overall great experience. We will definitely come here in the future.

This is the best ford location I have ever been to hands down. It s never fun when you need lots of work done on a vehicle however Kristy made my experience here very satisfactory. The communication was impeccable and her customer service was like I was speaking to a friend and not an employee. She is the sole reason I give this location 5 stars. Very patient and understanding about my warranty. Very persistent and professional. There was accommodations made for my benefit and for that I am so very thankful. I recently moved to Virginia although this location is so awesome I would literally consider having my car shipped to this location for anything as small as an oil change. A huge shoutout to Kristy for being the very very best at her job thank you thank you thank you !!!!

Great job! Friendly service guy did the work on my Maverick while my car was parked at work! Saved me the time and trouble of going to the dealership and waiting, or sharing a car with my wife for the day. I will definitely be using this service again!Just used the service again (3/4/2024) and it was as great as before. Nathan and Tristan serviced my oil change, tire rotation and software recall while my truck was parked at work. Great job guys!

Truly the best dealership in Illinois. The dealership is clean, a great environment, Friendly staff and goes above and beyond for their customers. Edgar has a radiant energy and has keep us up to date on finding the perfect car! His willingness to help find something within our price range and takes the time to give us all the details. This is our second car from Gillespie Ford and each and every time our experience is top notch. Gillespie makes you feel valued as a customer and makes you feel like part of the family upon leave. I will forever be a Gillespie ford customer!!!!

I traded in two vehicles for a 2021 Ford Explorer. Ryan Gannon was very personable, I felt very comfortable working with him. He was patient and knowledgeable.The Explorer needs new tires. When I mentioned that, I got no pushback, and they gave me a $1,000 discount towards that future expense.Lee in finance was easy to work with. He made that part of the process smooth and easy to understand.I drove in one vehicle and they took me back to my home to retrieve the second one, which had to be jumpstarted. My driver was friendly as well.Overall outstanding service there, I feel confident in going back with them in the future.

My wife and I stopped in after the 2024 Auto Show to see the new Escape. Our appointment was with Ryan. While Ryan brought the car around , we had a conversation with Dave ( salesperson) very nice, very knowledgeable and willing to chat even through we weren't his customers. Went for the test drive, car was nice, and a quality product, however my wife and I didn't feel this car fit what we were looking for. We never felt any pressure to spot buy, Ryan was a professional through and through. Before leaving , we like to view the waiting rooms, incase of service, we like to know what the layout is. We're both impressed at how clean and organized this dealership was. They might earn our business today, however there is always tomorrow.

I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Gillespie Ford while attempting to purchase a 2018 Chevy Sonic Premium. Initially, I was attracted to the dealership because both my credit union and job offer used car discounts through TrueCar, and I found the car I wanted listed there. After speaking with Nate, the manager, over the phone and negotiating a lower price, I arrived at the dealership ready to finalize the purchase.However, things took a turn for the worse when Nate ran my credit and failed to disclose important information regarding financing options. Despite having a credit score of 791, I was presented with a high-interest rate of 7.9%, much higher than what my credit union could offer at 6.09%. Furthermore, the dealership attempted to add a $2050 3-year/36,000-mile warranty to the purchase without disclosing the price upfront.To make matters worse, Gillespie Ford's actions resulted in two hard inquiries on my credit report and a significant drop in my credit score to 713. When I attempted to finalize the purchase with a pre-approved check from my credit union, Nate avoided me and failed to address the outstanding paperwork required.Overall, my experience with Gillespie Ford was incredibly disappointing and filled with shady practices. I strongly advise others to avoid this dealership and to be cautious when dealing with them. I have reached out to TrueCar regarding this matter, and they also acknowledged that Gillespie Ford and Nate should have conducted themselves better, considering their listing as a TrueCar dealer.Ryan the sales person was great (5 stars)

My son was in need of a vehicle. I have a friend that works at Gillespie so I suggested he go look there. He drove 5 hours to see a used truck last night. My son invited his cousin and friend to come look the truck over with him. Never once did David, the salesman, question what they were doing or rush us. He stayed with us every of the way. By the time the paperwork was all done, we were there over two and a half hours past closing time. David stayed until the end with us. Our family has never owned a Ford before, but for the way we were treated, I would highly recommend this dealership.

Called ford corporation they told me to transfer my warranty at ANY ford dealer and pay them the fee. I went out of my way and got the paper work all ready for them they just had to sign and collect my car buyers money. Had them tell me multiple times no that they couldn t do it because they didn t sell me the car. Then I told him I would call Ford corporate and have a talk with them and they changed completely and did it for me. Took them two minutes to complete the paperwork and that s only because they had to print my cars buyer out a copy. Kept me waiting in a waiting room for over an hour and wjust look at me while they pretended to have a meeting even though the dealer was empty that they completely.

Their team called about a recall service and offered to perform the service at my house instead of having me come to the dealership and wait. Super convenient, quick, professional. I bought my 2023 Ford Hybrid Escape from Gillespie and they made buying my new car easy and stress free. There were no high pressure sales tactics, they didn t try to push me into a car I didn t want, and they actually worked with me on my monthly payment. When you go, and you should, ask for Eva or David, you cannot go wrong with those two.

Stephanie at Gillespie Ford is amazing. I was at a dog adoption event and they were there giving away free windshield wipers. I asked for some but I have a newer Subaru and of course it required a special kind of attachment for the wipe blades. This is where she went above and beyond: She took down my information and ordered two brand new blades and had them delivered to my house. I didn t have to purchase anything or bring in my vehicle. They just honored the fact that they were there giving away blades that day and I got to try out the home delivery service they offer. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing care for their car. Also stop in and give Stephanie a high five! Thank you!
