We ve been coming here for years without issue. Until this last visit. Brought my car in for a leak and a noise when turning. When I got my car back, there was a new and much worse noise and the leak remained. Wasn t even addressed. Brought my car back and was told this was nothing we did . and repairs will be 5k+ . Took my car elsewhere. And was told that the transmission (which Gages Lake Auto serviced) had old and water ridden fluid. They officially ruined my car. Absolutely do not recommend taking your car here.Full disclosure- they did refund me for service I paid for without question, but that doesn t make the situation okay.

Gages Lake Auto really surpassed our expectations. We had a terrible experience where a dealership botched an oil change, then said we needed to replace the engine. Jonny found out the problem was actually a damaged filter. Our problems were fixed for a very reasonable price. The service is top notch. We will definitely be using them again.

The results are in, yes 5 stars, becausethat's the highest you can go. Had my 86TransAm there for two issues that neededaddressed. After their complete checkoutof the car both mechanical and electricalsome 60 plus items, they sent me a detailedlist of all items checked. They even found aproblem that I never knew I had butaffected the car's performance greatly. Yesit took awhile for parts and Mike, the classiccar fix it guy to be available but now theTransAm never ran better. Thanks also toMike and Kristen for their help along theway. Absolute professional grade shop, trythem out, you won't be disappointed.Services: Auto battery replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Auto battery maintenance, Battery

We took our 2008 Infiniti here for some warranty work. Kristen was amazing and very communicative throughout the entire process. We ended up having a small issue after getting the car back however they took it right back, corrected the issue no questions asked and we couldn't be more happy. We will now use them for any of our repair needs!

I just can't say enough good things about Gages Lake Auto and their employees. Everyone is always so pleasant to work with and talk to. They take their time and do things right the first time. If the time estimate looks like it's going to run longer, they let me know as soon as possible. And they are always great about working with me to borrow a loaner vehicle. On a personal level, they have helped me out of a jam and have been so kind a caring with their help. As a bonus they are always great to my son when we come in. He actually looks forward to dropping off and picking up our vehicle. I always recommend them when someone is looking for trustworthy service. Fast, friendly and trustworthy service. Quality work at an affordable price. They will go out of their way to explain what they are doing, the upfront cost and the approximate time it will take to complete the service. I often need a ride to and from the shop when my car isn't working and they have no problem picking me up and dropping me off. I highly recommend Gages Lake Auto for all automotive repairs.

We have been using Gage's Lake Auto for over 6 years. They are honest, straightforward and have very competitive prices. Their customer service is fantastic and I feel very confident using them. I never feel they over sell repairs or pressure us into doing unnecessary maintenance. They tell you upfront what all the costs will be and there are no surprises. They stand behind their work. One of our cars is much older and they help us asses what is really necessary to do without over investing the the car. They made a point to get to know us as a family and not just as a customer with cars that need maintenance or repairs. They provide free loaners if needed. We highly recommend them!

Gages Lake Auto is a fantastic place to go for any auto service/support you may need. I completely trust the people there, like my own family, to make the recommendations and to perform the repairs and maintenance with my best interests in mind. Having moved to the area 7 years ago and not having any local connection to a person I cold trust to do my repairs, I was so happy to find the Gages Lake Auto team to support me when needed. They even provide feel loner cars if needed, that is not standard at any place I have used in the past. I recommend Gages Lake Auto for any service you may need.

Took care of me & my vehicle better than anywhere I've been. They went above and beyond to repair my difficult trunk latch problem. Mike & the rest of the guys here have the best personal customer service & do whatever is necessary to provide excellent work for the best price. They were so helpful every step and fair- I'm definitely staying here for my general upkeep!

been going to this place for years now. they ve always been really good, but i had to get towed because my starter went out and they were able to get me a free tow and fix my car in less than 24 hours:) mike and the rest of the team are really helpful

I've been using Gages Lake Auto for a few years now. They have always been friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. The ability to get a loaner car is great, but their service is great and their pricing is reasonable, too. The last time I had work done was because of a failed emissions test. I was going to be out of town while they worked on my car, and the deadline for getting the car re-tested was going to pass while I was gone. Not only were they able to repair the car, but they took it to the testing facility for me.

I was very happy with Gages Lake Auto shop. I've had my car serviced twice and they did an excellent job. I will be taking my car in to them whenever there is a problem. Took my car to Gages Lake Auto for the first time and they did an awesome job. They explained exactly what needed to be done, gave a fair price, completed the repairs quickly, and provided a loaner. It's so nice to finally find a shop I can trust.

We have just recently found Gages Lake Auto (about 2-3 years ago). Our cars have over 200K miles, and the service we receive from Mark and his team has been wonderful. They provide us with honest, and cost effective recommendations. Scott and I truly value the care they take with our "older" vehicles. I am so glad that a friend referred us to Gages Lake Auto. My car had several warning lights that came on intermittently. I first took the car to a different shop, where they thought they addressed the issue. However, the warning lights came back. I took the car in to Gages Lake Auto, and they fixed the problem. They kept the car for several days so that they could test drive it at various times. They called me with a full explanation about the problem. Their customer service team is friendly and knowledgeable. I also got to use a complimentary loaner car. I will be back the next time my car experiences a problem.

We have been using Gages Lake Auto for many years. We really appreciate the open conversations on what our vehicles may or may not need. They have made us feel comfortable working with them on every vehicle we own. The courtesy cars sure make it convenient and flexible to have regular oil changes and check ups done as well as more intricate work performed if required. I highly recommend Gages Lake Auto.

As a new customer (referred by a friend), I was very impressed. The staff was extremely friendly, they were able to work on my car the morning after my initial phone call, a loaner car was offered, and my car was ready within a few hours after I dropped it off. The price was reasonable, their communication was everything I could hope for and the service was fantastic. I would definitely take my car here again.

I can't rave enough about the quality of work and customer service we receive from Gages Lake Auto! They give prompt accurate quotes, the work gets done quickly, and they are honest. Our vehicles have many miles on them, they keep our cars going and costs down while making sure we are safe.

Great service. My first visit, so a little nervous as I was bringing my vehicle in for what I thought was going to be a transmission issue. To my great surprise, it was not a transmission issue. I knew there was an issue with the radiator as well, so had them fix that since I was not going to buy a transmission. Done right, on time and at a very competitive cost.One success does not make a track record but I am thrilled to say, I will be coming back for a second chance and looking forward to making Gages Lake Auto "My Garage"Thanks guys!

I highly recommend GLA because the quality of service is excellent. I have taken my cars there for many years. The friendly and highly skilled service technicians will take the time and explain what needs to be done and provide an accurate quote. I always say go ahead with the repair because they are honest and I trust the repair will be fixed correctly the first time and for the best price. I have no problem referring friends and family to Gages Lake Auto.

I have taken my cars to GLA for some time. I can say that Mark, Todd and the rest of the crew do great work for reasonable prices. The work gets done when they say it's going to get done. They are friendly and always advise me of my options and prices. I first came to this shop after being told by another shop that I needed a new AC compressor. GLA took a look and determined that a valve needed replacement. Saved me a pile of money on that one! They have been especially helpful as my car gets older, in helping me decide whether to continue repairing or replace.In short this is a great business that cares about its customers, is thoroughly knowledgeable about the work, is customer-friendly, offers loaner vehicles, and gets the job done right the first time. Highest recommendation!

Gages Lake Auto is a professionally run, customer oriented service center. Always keep you posted on cost estimates, advising if further work is needed and timely. Always a loaner car available if needed. Can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a quality shop.
