Super nice people. I was running late to drop off my boat , Mike called me to make sure I m still coming. Tony kept the service department opened after closing time to make sure i got checked in and all my questions were addressed. Todd the boat engine mechanic consulted with me at least 4 times to explain everything to me so that I understood what was needed done and answered all my questions related to the repair, boat , trailer and general boating and beyond.. I got my water pump impeller replaced and new carburetor kit installed in a week.

VC Marine does excellent work and provides great customer service!!! They installed a trolling motor, 2 Elite FS fish finders, and a stand alone transducer mount on my new boat. Everything was perfect!!! VC Marine is the place to go for your boating needs!!! Thank you!

Do not take your boat here!!!! For starters, they said they fixed our boat the first time we took it there and then it proceeded to die on us the next two times that we took it out, so they did not fix the issue the first time. We took it back to them for the second time, which was a terrible idea and a big mistake. It took them over a year to fix our boat because they said they were waiting on a part. And then when we finally got our boat back over a year later, this is what it looked like. Absolutely disgusting because they kept it outside without the cover on for an entire year. Absolutely terrible customer service and poor quality of care.

Dropped off a fishing boat I just purchased to have them go over it for me. They were great to talk to in the phone and even better in person. Talked with Mike and the service manager and both were super helpful.

Wanted to share my experience with Mike and VC Marine. I actually didn t buy a boat from VC and have decided to wait until Vexus announces their deep V aluminum addition. This place is a joke , charged me 900 dollars to replace my water pump, my engine had never overheated and that's not why I took there , it was bogging down and stalling out , 200 dollar charge just to Lake test and 100 dollars an hour for them to guess , they hadn't even started on the problem and my bill was 900 , maybe good at selling new boats but wouldn't trust them to touch your engine unless you have alot of money and are willing to pay them for guess work , when I talk to Mike and questioned my bill he said he has to keep the doors open on this place , WOW , not the type of busses I want to deal with

My husband and I are doing the Great Circle Loop on an open boat and we had our Suzuki 250 breakdown in the Illinois river. We limped down to Alton, IL and it was VC Marine to the rescue. Michael was very helpful setting things up and Tony and Nick did a great job on rigging the new engine. My husband put the prop on wrong and when we discovered the problem 20 miles later down the Mississippi, Tony drove down to help us and saved the day, for free. Can t say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend!
