so I pull up here about 10:15pm. I pull up close to the store as to not pull on to a gas station spot because I was getting gas, I leave my car running as I was going in for 1 item close to door, been there before, a lady is exiting as im entering and she says "that's not a parking space", I replied "ok, thank you", as im now in the store picking up my item, the man at the checkout is speaking, now im in front of him, and understanding him clearly, "that's not a parking spot", I said "I know", as someone had just stated it, He refused to serve me until I move my car. I said seriously, I exited and went on my way to QT, I will never return, his name is Shaun Tanksly. I will let Midwest know of this incident and see how they respond.

Friendly employees! Great covered area to fill gas at, takes cards as usual. NO DIESEL. Has frozen ice machines, AmeriGas propane exchange, a machine to put air into your tires. A dedicated area just for beer. All sorts of candy, food, and other essentials for the road. Fresh fruit was also found with an assortment of items that can put do QuikTrip prior to them installing bakeries at all locations. Yes, it can be crowded there, but it is also a very busy place with lots of customers. Floors were clean. Bathroom was to be expected (not so great but it ll work in a hurry). Midwest Petro runs this as a ZX (Zephyr Express which is slowly taking over the entire area for them). I found all pumps had windshield washing stations with plenty of water and tools, including paper towels.

We've given this location several chances but the drive thru is hit or miss. More often than not, the people will simply look at you and ignore you.

The male cashier over night is horrid. This is the 3rd time, he made me feel like I was an inconvenience. No hello, no thank you. Transaction number 1020257. Cashier #16. Date 4-8-23. I'll go somewhere else.

I never like to post negative reviews, but I just visited this establishment, and this review needs to be left. There were probably 15 people or so in the store including staff, and not one person was wearing a face covering. I will no longer be doing business at this establishment. They clearly don t value the health and safety of the community, and every other gas station in the community has mandatory face cover rules. I plan on contacting the Madison County Health Department tomorrow.

Late night cashier is ugly physically and is probably why she is rude to the customers. She has crude nasty wirey black hair that looks like she hasnt showered in months. Other descriptions of here are bad acne, old out of style glasses and very overweight. Small size and poor posture. If this women in working behind the counter i would avoid this gas station if you dont want a women who compensates for being a ugly rude prune by being condesending to all the customers.

Called to ask if they sell money orders, no mention of it being cash-only til I was at the register trying to pay with my bank card. Bank cards don t work unless you have the money in your account so it seems kind of stupid to refuse them. It s not like a credit card.Must suck to purposely turn away business.

Come on now,this location needs to install a E85 pump!!!! Granite city folks would buy this like hotcakes,half or more of the vehicles they drive are flexfuel. Just make sure you market it properly and educate your employess about it.Having to drive to glen carbon is a bummer to get this fuel.And get someone who knows how to hire good people,you have a terrible turn over,it puts a,strain on the few good employees!

Julie on midnights is the best worker there,really has turned things around,she should be a manager.Yes I am partial,she is my wife but seriously,the customers love her,I hope your paying attention upper management?

Cynthia sold acholol to someone that was already intoxicated and alowed them to stay at the store while she was working she refused to give me the managers name and said she was calling the cops because I was asking for the managers name

I went into this store looking fof a job. The store manaher told me she ead hoin to send me a link. I called her tjree tlmes eotj no responcr she stoll didnt send me tjr link. Very rude. Her name was tsnya

Place is great. Nice now that it s been remodeled. Staff is fun and friendly. Family owned store from saint Louis.
