I'm glad Matt's muffler turned my business down, Mad Hatter is actually much better does better quality work.. before they do any work they discuss with you the plan of attack.. then they implement that plan perfectly.

Took my 67 catalina there yesterday and to put left side exhaust pipes to make it duel .originally was supposed to be about 160 dollars turned to be 400 dollars .he said I didnt tell him I needed a tailpipe that much more to put a tailpipe on I said can you do it for less than that he sad no .I won't be back I have allot of classic cars they won't get my business again .I will just go to the muffler shop in sparta . At least I won't get screwed.

Great customer service they did a great job on my sons car and alos let my brother-in-law install a starter on my sons car on their premises.... the car stopped working soon as i got there

I think it was few buck's more than some other places for sure but the guys took very good care of my truck and they had me in and out for having to weld and everything they did I definitely give 5 , I highly recommend mad hatter and the crew working for good quality exhaust work front to back start to finish.

These are the most amazing and caring people who do amazing and quick work. They won't bleed you dry either. The prices are reasonable. Very honest and upfront and really care about their customers.

These guys do honest and affordable work. They had everything done the same day I dropped off my car. Not to mention they did it for a price that was 1/3 of what another shop would have charged me. Don't think about it just bring your car here . These people will do you right

He replaced my 2 catalytic converter, but wouldn't give me my old parts, he said the there would be a core charge, talk to auto zone, advance auto, O'Reilly and auto tech, mad hatter lied to me. DON'T USE HIM.Talk to several people about this, they said the same thing g, high on prices and high on labor. THEY and I will never use him ever again

these guys are great!! only place ill ever go for exhaust work!! got me right in and got her done in less than 45 minutes!! i didnt even have an appointment!! my car sounds and performs awesome now!! thanks guys i really appreciate the awesomeness!!!

Had a simple muffler job done a few years ago. They botched it so bad. 2 bends in a provided pipe is all they had to do. What they did was wrap pipe under the area in an exposed position and took off my skid plate and threw it in back. I have heard good review of this place. But every time I have visited I have left mad or disappointed. Spend the time to research better mechanics.

Excellent muffler shop!! I took my SUV to Mad Hatter Mufflers after paying another shop a very high amount for exhaust work because my SUV had exhaust leaks which the other shop did a very poor welding job the first time. Since the work was under warranty with the other shop I took my SUV back to the shop, but different location they couldn t correct their other location poor welding job of my exhaust they told me they were having a hard time correcting it and stopping the leaks which they also did a poor welding job that caused more problems and caused the exhaust leaks to be worse. Mad Hatter Mufflers corrected the exhaust work that the other shop (s) did. They even work the price of the job with me because of the high amount I paid the other shop. I can't thank them enough! I wish all shops that do exhaust work are honest and experience like Mad Hatter Mufflers.

They repaired my muffler for 80 dollars. The other shop told me I needed a complete new muffler, which would be 250 to 300. Thank you for your outstanding customer service!!!

Overpriced. Didnt weld the pipe off the manifold to the exhaust then told my neice their was nothing wrong when she took it back! You could hear it! When i looked there wasnt even a clamp and at 1300.00 you think they would have done it right or at least rectified the issue! Never again! She took it elsewhere because mad hatter told her she had transmission problems and the other place did a THOROUGH CHECK guess what? Exhaust leak that 1300.00 should have fixed. So now 1420.00 later its done right!

Gary is a great welder,excellent pipe bender,you will get a great system built for a even greater price!!Don't look any further than the granite city mad hattwe for your next exhaust system build,and and other repair!There is a reason they have been around for almost forty years!
