I have used Gerber many times. I have always been pleased with the service I recieve. Renee at the front desk always has a smile on her face. She is more than willing to help with any questions or concerns that come up. Luis and Ricky are great at what they do with fast response times, quick clarification, and they always have a great attitude. Couldn't say better things about Geber Collision and Glass in Glenview..... except that I should be a better driver.

I stopped in to get a quote I'm getting a dent removed and the gentleman I spoke to was very nice and extremely helpful. He was very confident that the PDR guy could get the dent out without having to do body work.When I called back a few days later he said that the dent guy didn't think he could get it out and that I'm better off painting the rear quarter on the truck. The problem with that is I didn't really want to spend $1,000 on a dent that I believe could be taken out. I hear good things about their services my beef is that I was told extremely confident can get it out then on the follow-up it was had to paint the whole rear quarter instead.This is not bashing them in any way but in the picture I included I was able to have a guy get the dent out 100%. So I did not have to paint the truck I will probably use them if I need paint work in the future.Update 5/27/21I spoke with Jason ( GM ) from this location and we had a nice chat about what we're chalking up to a mis communication between myself and the employee that was there that day. I get it that they hire an outside service for PDR so I am sure this happens from time to time. I will say it was nice that Jason reached out so we can make sure we're on the same page.

I work in the service industry, and this was the worst service I received in a long time. The google reviews was why I came to this location in the first place. I spoke with Luis Garcia, and one of the first things he mentioned was that my car was totaled. All the representative did was eye my car and took pictures. I was driving my vehicle back and forth to the shop. I had an appointment on Thursday for an official estimate, but when I got to the shop I was told one was sent to my insurer, which wasn't what was discussed when I spoke with Louis. I asked for a copy and was told to ask my insurer. This started a whole avalanche of problems on top of the ones I already had with my car. After getting the assessment it had no cost attached to it and the description said the document was not an estimate. The reason why I am sharing what happened to me is so people are aware and can make a reasonable decision for their car. I ultimately got my car fixed well under the total cost value percentage from another service-approved shop through my insurance company and they did a wonderful job. Pictures are attached! Trust your gut!

This is a 2008 model year car and the headlight cover was yellowed and opaque. Posting a photo of the polished headlight cover. I am amazed at the difference. Looks new. Gerber Glenview did an AMAZING job. I wish I had before and after photos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Luis was very honest and upfront about the cost of repairs.The work was done quickly and efficiently. My car was in and out of the shop within a week, and I was able to pick it up on the day that I was promised.My car looked great when I picked it up. The repairs were done perfectly, and my car looked as good as new.Overall, I had a great experience at Gerber Collision & Glass in Glenview. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional work. Thank you Luis for your professional service.

Took my Honda Civic here for front bumper repair, AC condenser and radiator work through tan insurance claim. They had my car in and out in less than two weeks when other repair shops wouldn t even give an estimate for my car damage a month later. I can t say enough good things about Gerber Collision and Glass and its employees. Clear communication and constant updates, excellent customer service, and fast repairs with no defects whatsoever. I won t trust any other body or repair shop with my car.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

Ps, they call you back leave a message and then never return your call. So when you see the we ve been in touch below my name. Totally bogus. They have no interest in fixing the situation. Go look at yelp reviews.My car was backed in to. They dealt with the insurance company. They completely missed half the damage to the car. Manager calls me back to discuss. Says they ll come look at car. Never calls me back. End of story $1200 out my pocket. This place is the worst.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Post service review: Gerber worked with insurance to repair my vehicle and did a great job. My review is specific to post repair services which were just as great. The door they had replaced was stuck a couple of months after the work they had performed. It wouldn't open from the inside or outside. I reached out to Gerber and Renee assisted me over email, they were prompt and asked me to bring in the vehicle so the tech's could have a look. Since the kids primarily used that door, we didn't realize that the belt was jammed in the door and cause the door to malfunction. Ron informed us of this and the Gerber team was able to resolve the issue. This wasn't their problem, but they still worked it to resolution. They were courteous and very professional. Top notch team and great customer service. Thank you!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Terrible. Just terrible. My car was towed there after hours from an accident. I had to call 7-8 times before getting someone and then was told "we can't look at the vehicle until you come in". Come in for what? So I drive a rental all the way down and they say they won't fix the car EVEN if insurance tells them too. It's an older car so parts would be a hassle for them. Then they wanted to charge me having the car on their lot, or I could wait THREE MONTHS before they could do an assessment for insurance. I had it towed down the road to a place that wasn't terrible and got everything worked out. Illinois Towing - literally a block down the street - far better place and people.Service: Transmission

Excellent customer service with minimal wait times. They take care of everything including setting up an Enterprise rental car if necessary.Updates on the status of your repair are communicated (through opt-in via e-mail or text) and are accurate. I have requested to come here every time I need a vehicle repair. Everyone is very friendly and I truly appreciate their repair shop. I will definitely remain a loyal customer.

The service and work was great. My only complaint was the timing of the estimated completion. I was repeatedly told two weeks to completion, including with the automated texting system, and then after 4 days, the car was ready. While it's great it was ready faster, I went and got a rental the day the car ended up being ready, since I thought I'd be without a car for another week and a half.

I've been here twice and both times I had awesome experience. A year ago I went there for a rear-ended damage, someone hit me and ran. I had Progressive insurance at the time and had this complicated process to get insurance approve the estimate. Gerber Collision kept me updated about the progress of the communication between them and Progressive, while in comparison I found Progressive didn't not respond to my calls and email. It took Progressive one week to do their work and issue the repair process and it only took Gerber Collision one day to fix my car.Last week when I was out of IL State, someone was trying to break into my car and screwed up my driver side window. I took the door panel off at my garage and found a lot of mental parts were super broken/bent including the window regulator. I have State Farm insurance this year and the insurance process seems to be easy too. I dropped my car last Saturday (they said no technician there to look at it until Monday), and Wednesdays morning I was called that my car is ready to pick up.Two days! I guess one day estimate and the second day to repair? That's very impressive.This place has impressed me with their efficiency and good customer experience/communication.I never wrote any reviews (too much work and I'm lazy) and this is the only Gerber Collision shop I've been to (so I can't say for other Gerber Collision shops).I think this place deserves 5 star review.

One, if the not the most of the most reputable and credible auto repair providers I have ever brought my vehicle to. The Glenview GM treats you like you a childhood friend and that you grew up in the same neighborhood and both his parents and your parents were life long friends. Work is consistently done ahead of schedule and exceeds expectations. Gerber stands by their lifetime warranty. There is no one else in industry that offers lifetime warranty on body work (and sticks to it). Gerber collision and glass is industry leader.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have shared a review about these guys earlier. I jumped too fast because I had a issue about water leaking on my driver side, back door. I was frustrated at 1st because I had to go back few times for them to figure out the problem, and where the water was coming in. But I have to be honest and say nothing but the good things about these guys. Even though that happened, they still went out of their way, to fix my problem, which they did, hopefully no more water coming in, for now definitely not. They are very professional, and Especially Jason was very professional and did everything for n his power to fix my problem. Not only that but he treated me with full tank of gas which was very nice from him. Thank you guys for everything.

On the day I brought my car (vandalized with two windows to be replaced and some door body work) they were very busy and told me the car will be worked on at a different location. The paperwork was completed quickly. I was contacted often (I would even say to often) by a person from that other location who reported the progress of the repairs, but overall I think, transporting the car 20 miles to a different shop, extended the time needed for repairs. The other location did not do a very good job. Several weeks later I was still finding pieces of glass. They really wanted to make it up and reached out to me after my original no so praising review.

Awesome experience at Glenview location. After getting an initial estimate that I agreed to, the GM called me and told me that they found a way to LOWER the cost.. now, who's ever heard of a repair shop down-charging a customer instead up-charging:)) Did an excellent job of repairing what the car needed. And then responded to my last-moment plea to pick me up while I got stranded in my other vehicle, just so I can pick up the repaired one before closing. Thank you Justin, Chris, Julian and guy who picked me up :)

Friendly and courteous. The estimate was thorough, so insurance didn't take long to approve it. They also have an Enterprise car rental office on site, so it's easy to get a replacement car if yours is in the shop for a while.

The moment you walk into Gerber Collision and Glass in Glenview,IL,you are treated like a VIP. I made an appointment to get an estimate for my bumper and Crystal set it up very quickly with Chris,my estimator there. When I arrived everything worked like a well oiled machine. Chris and Crystal took care of everything for me. I didn t even need to follow up with the other drivers insurance company. They took care of it all. Brought my car in on a Monday morning and got it back on late Tuesday afternoon,the next day. Bumper looks great and to top that off my car was washed and vacuumed,very nice touch by them. If you are looking for an auto body or glass repair shop, I would highly recommend Gerber Collision and Glass in Glenview,IL or the closest location near you. I really lucked out with my location and I will recommend them to anyone who needs the type of repairs they do. You won t be sorry!

The best repair shop I've ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I took my car in after I was rear-ended and they had it fixed in less than 2 days. My car looks like new! I absolutely recommend this place.

Wow this place knows customer service! I just had a vehicle repaired. It took 2 weeks. They called me several times a to update me, Finished ahead of schedule, and did a beautiful job. I will recommend them to every one.

Initially we were disappointed, but have resolved that issue and been back.The fleet management company we use wanted a van brought there to replace a side view mirror. Our ops manager scheduled the appointment and we sent the van in. Somehow the online appointment did not go through. We were required to make another appointment and bring it back.We learned our lesson, we have dealt directly with the location for scheduling. The staff has been friendly and attentive to our needs. We have since sent the van back for the same reason (not their fault) and been happy with the service since.

A very bad experience bad scheduling didn't follow through bad Communications all for windshield replacement and I booked it one week in advance after finishing what they have to do for me I would never use them again
