I went to gearhead for some services. I got an oil change and replaced my belly pan along with exhaust mounts. I had my car towed because parts of my belly pan were clipping the ground. When I received my vehicle the interior had oil finger prints all along my pillar and door handle. The upholstery on my door was covered in dirt and so was my recaro seat. Theres muddy finger prints all over my hood and fenders and someone tried wiping it off with a towel without cleaning the dirt off. Gearhead tries claiming it was from the tow company but I watched him put the car on the flatbed his hands were all over my car to put on the straps and he didn't leave a mark. Not mention the fact the Gearhead recommended the tow company. And on top of that there's finger prints around my seatbelt and I dont believe a tow truck driver would put the seatbelt on to take a car off the bed. The worst of the damage is located next to the oil service sticker that gearhead put in my window. I drive a low mile VW 337. Only 2500 were produced. Gearhead has offered no solution.

Had an amazing experience here. Very ethical business with good prices.Took my wife s car here after the Cadillac dealership in Lombard tried to take advantage of my wife and I. They ran tests, gave us the accurate information and saved us thousands of dollars. They helped us through a tough situation and gave us guidance with no expectations. I reccomend this place. Jamie helped me getting registered at last minute due to my car troubles. She had excellent customer service and was very polite during a frantic moment yesterday. Followed by Josh's customer service was attentive, polite manner. Gearhead really took care of me and my car, without being overpriced. This is my first review I have ever written, I am passionate about my experience here. I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Guys are honest and have integrity. Dealer told me my wife's car needed $1K worth of work. Gearhead looked it over and told me that there was NO PROBLEM (and they were right). What really amazed me was that they charged me NOTHING to look my wife's car over. This was six years ago and I have been going to them ever since, without disappointment. Unless they change, they will have a customer for life, in me.P.S. They are especially good at High Line European Cars that are a few years old (out of warranty). They have a master certified mechanic and charge approximately 60% of what my dealer charged me for the same work. Highly recommend.

I live in Glen Ellyn and have used Gearhead for 15 years for my auto maintenance and repairs. These guys are the best! Honest; super-qualified; speedy work.Also, if you need a high-quality used car, talk to Todd (the owner) at Gearhead!!! He can help you get a much-better value than any dealer or CarMaxx. My family and I have bought several cars through Todd and they have exceeded expectations.Highly recommend!

Good honest folks here. The only place I'll bring my cars in for repair. They do both foreign and domestic with ease. And it's always fixed right! Great place to drop the car on the way into the city via train how's the shop is a short 30-second walk to Glen Ellyn station! to top it all off if you are in the market for a good solid used automobile, they can find it for you!

I was in town on business and had my truck go dead with a possible failed alternator. I had a called Brian at 2 on a Friday with my alternator specs . I had my truck at his shop by 230 with the help of a stranger giving me a jump to make it over to his shop a 1/2 mile away . I drove in and he jumped right in and had me back on the road by 330. I can tell you that a company like this is worth more than a 5 star review . Really helped me out in a pinch and I m not even a local . Highly recommend this company and the service is top notch . Thank you again !

We have taken all of our cars to Gearhead. From a Corvette Z06 to a Mercedes E350 to a Honda Element. Every time they exceed our expectations. Today they fixed something at no charge that a dealership would have charged us hundreds for. These guys are fair priced but they do excellent work.

The service at gearhead is exceptional. They are always available to meet my needs. They always look for the most affordable and often creative solution.They fixed a turn signal on my porsche 911 by ordering a small hard to find part. I always leave satisfied. Highly recommended.

It's hard to leave your favorite service center when moving to a new area. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon Gearhead when I relocated to Wheaton, and I couldn't be happier. Not only are the technicians qualified and efficient, the office staff provide detailed explanations and recommendations, the repairs are always done well and in a timely manor, I never feel that I'm being sold work my vehicle doesn't need, and the prices are reasonable and affordable considering the high quality of work. I'm in the process of converting all my friends and family to Gearhead customers!

I needed front brakes on my Cayenne! Matt got me in and out before the time he quoted and the parts were Porsche factory not aftermarket! They will have my service on non warranty work!

Was told I would have the car looked at same day; once I dropped off they said it would take 2 days to review. Corrections were incomplete to the car and details were not discussed over phone. Will not be returning.

Had my car (sorted) by them almost $4000 !
