I had gone to Valvoline to get my oil changed and mentioned that my car was sounding loud. They said I might have a hole in my muffler. So I took it to Midas. Ron the manager showed me exactly where there was a crack in my exhaust system. He also mentioned that my battery needed service. Valvoline said my battery was fine! Ron showed me exactly where the battery needed attention. I had just gotten my tires rotated at Valvoline for $30 and Ron said they rotate tires as a courtesy with an oil change! He then proceeded to take care of my battery for free! I will use Midas now for all my car s needs!

Brought my car in to have them bolt in a downpipe from my turbo and weld a catalytic converter on. They intalled the pipe without using the gasket included, and installed the second cat backwards. Then installed the pipe exiting the secondary cat pushed so far inside of the cat that an o2 sensor could never be installed. Along with this, they took it upon themselves to install an entire exhaust system and in doing so decided to not use the OEM hangers but to rather run lag bolts through my floor to just make new ones. Kenny, the technician i was so unfortunately blessed to have working on my vehicle, was quite proud of this, even exclaiming that he does this on all vehicles. He crushed the heated o2 sensor removing it with what I can only assume were channel lock pliers. I was then charged $600 for a job that compares to that of only something Hellen Keller could accomplish on a good day. If you have any sense of self respect or care for your own property in any capacity, I'd steer clear.

I love going to Midas. They're quick and go through any concerns with me. They're not pushy, trying to make me feel obligated to get unnecessary maintenance done to my car. I 100% recommend Midas.

This is probably the best car care place in the area. Great customer service! My check oil light came on and I came in. They explained the issue and topped off my oil in just a few minutes. Also the waiting room is super clean and comfy. Only place I'll go!

Your store s always very friendly and helpful! I especially appreciate the receptionist.The only thing I would suggest is that it is now harder to get the discount coupons! Please make it easier for everyone to get!I will give 5 stars if you do that!

Customer service was good and they didn't push too hard on the selling services/etc. Price was to be expected. Completely question their inspection though. I went in with a TPMS sensor going off (didn't have a chance to fill it up prior to showing up) with all ranges of preasure (reading 29-31 cold). They claimed to have put 35 (written in by hand) on all the tires and checked the item green on my sheet... but the preasures were still reading the same and the TPMS light was on when I picked it up. Filled it up myself later and everything was good.So, they pretty obviously "pencil whipped" that part of the inspection. Makes me question everything else they claimed was good on the inspection sheet.

We have been bringing our vehicles to this Midas location for 13 years and have always had good experiences. They are willing to really talk to you about the issues with your car and do research into finding solutions to the stranger problems. The employees also try hard to make repairs as affordable as possible.

I trust them to do a top notch job and believe they are straight shooters when they say I have plenty of life left on my brakes etc.. I've been coming here probably 25 yrs. plus so they've done: brake jobs, transmission fluid flushes, alternator replacements, oil changes, and more. I got a good vibe from them from the start so I am a loyal customer. Doesn't hurt that they have some good deals also. Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires

I moved here about year & half ago and continue to bring my old 73k car to this shop for assessment. This place is on point, they always give you a straight forward - matter of fact response, which is not always in their favor, and that's the best part, because they're still honest with you.

Had an appointment at 8:00 for an oil change & was done by 8:30. They went through everything they checked on my vehicle with me. I appreciated how nice & fast they were.

I always bring my vehicles here for oil changes. Usually I wait while it's being done. Normally I'm in and out in 20 minutes. The prices are reasonable and keeps me coming back. They're always looking for ways to give me discounts!

Came in to the Glen Carbon location to get service. The front desk lady was courteous and polite. The service technicians were knowledgeable, fast, efficient, and thorough. The whole staff was excellent. I would recommend the Glen Carbon Midas to anyone having automotive issues requiring service.

recently had a valve gasket repair done at Midas. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the service provided. The repair was completed within the promised timeframe, and the staff demonstrated professionalism throughout the process. The quality of the repair work was evident as I haven't experienced any leaks or issues since the repair was done. The pricing was fair and competitive compared to other garages.

It's so hard to find a good auto shop!!This place has definitely moved to the top of my list! Even though I didn't go with them to replace my Oil Pan gasket (because I want to pray on it and see if I can find a lower price) the service and the mechanics were AWESOME.. Ron (shop manager) was very nice and transparent when answering my questions. Kenny was the guy checking my car out and he was AWESOME as well, he was very descriptive and educational. The guy (didnt get his name) that told me the price was patient while I thought about. I decided to let them do the oil change and I tried to use the coupon online but the money guy said they don't carry convential oil (they only have semi-synthethic & full synthetic) I will just have to take his word for it.LIKE I SAID, EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD AND I WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK INNTHE FUTURE!!Service: Oil change

I'm upset because when I got there, my check engine light was NOT on. The attendant insist that it was. Then when they finished, the first turn I made, my tires started making a rubbing noise of which wasn't until they serviced me. Also, when I accelerate to 65 mph, the tires had bit of a wobble. All after I pulled out of the garage at Midas. Now I will say my 2 back tires could be replaced but they were not causing the vehicle to do these things until they serviced it. And the price is ridiculously over priced for a basic oil change or maybe it was just me that got bad service won't be back.

The mechanic s here are so caring and kind to students. I thought I had a leak in my tire and they were able to remove the nail and get me out in the same day with my tire all patched up. The student discount is a lifesaver !Service: TiresService: Tires

The team at this midas were awesome! They helped me out in an emergency situation when my splash guard fell during my road trip to Michigan. Great location with a great staff! I walked in and Stacy greeted me right away with excellent customer service. Ron handled my car needs and had great customer service too. They re amazing! Have gotten cars serviced here for at least 10 years. Their communication is excellent and honest. I appreciate that when they discover that some work is needed on the car, but admit that it doesn't necessarily need to get done urgently. This attests to their integrity and commitment to customers (rather than a desire to make a quick buck). Also, they do a good job of explaining work.I recommend making an appointment for simpler work (e.g., oil changes) so you don't need to wait as long.Services: Tires, Oil change

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. No appointment, Stacey got me right in and got me taken care of. Ron was my mechanic and found my broken blinker that we have tried to fix 12 times ourselves, he took on the challenge and got it fixed for me on top of my oil change and tire rotation. Very helpful and friendly workers. Definitely recommend this place for you car needs. Fast and timely manner also.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

What a great shop. We stopped by in a pinch on our way out of town in hopes of a quick fix, and not only did we get a quick fix, there was no charge. That s what small towns are made of. You won t get that service in big cities or places like Walmart. I will definitely be back to give this shop my business.

I made an appointment, specifically asking for a time I could get in & out, as I d be waiting for my car. I took the advised appointment time, but when I arrived, was told by the manager that a tech had just gone to lunch; & asked, would I be willing to wait. So my in-and-out oil change took 30 minutes, which I felt wasn t bad @ all, considering someone was @ lunch. I hope the poor guy didn t ditch his lunch. This is my favorite place to go for oil changes; & I ve used this particular shop for 18 years now. They are always nice; & although I usually drop it off; on the odd occasion I wait, they re good @ getting me in & out fairly quick.Service: Oil change

The entire team at Midas is hugely helpful. They explain your problem in simple terms and go out of their way to make sure you understand the necessity of any work they do. Will definitely be coming back next time I need to!
