It fascinates me how I could have such consistently awful service from the same location for so many years and keep returning. I've been waiting an hour and a half for an appointment I scheduled a week ago with one car ahead of me, and they still haven't started on the car. Typical Walmart service, but for cars.

I ordered tires online and setup appointment for installation and someone didnt scan the tires in to the store when they arrived, then tried to cancel my appointment. I called corporate and the store manager to get resolved. Once all that was taken care installation was done well.

They were extremely bz, my father was broke down on interstate, we took the tire in and within 30 minutes or less they had it switched over and we were able to get him back on the road! They were great, friendly, fast, definitely would recommend them! And the price was great too for a new tire

Most worthless auto store employees I ve ever seen. They advertise a great price, but I d rather pay more at any other store. 3 employees working while I was there and not one would even check in back to see if they had the transmission fluid I needed. They had it btw, which I found out the next day, but I wound up paying more for smaller containers because of 3 worthless employees. I ll be buying (and paying more) for transmission fluid at any other store before I try Walmart again. Talk about the world s most worthless retailer

It was an extremely long wait. Young female with dark hair was rude and not helpful. A little older blonde female cashier was quick to help and check me in after a 30 minute wait on the other. We got a really good deal on tires. Watch for hidden costs. I observed the younger cashier being extremely rude to another customer who had just bought new tires and experienced a blow out.

They did a good job changing tire and not trying to sell me an over priced one. They even stayed a little late to finish the job so I wouldn't have to come back the next day.

Going to get oil changed.Tried to call three times finally someone answered but they had to transfer me to auto center. Again the phone rang and rang finally someone answered the phone but I was told they didn't make appointments it was first come first serve. I decided to change my own oil, so I went to Walmart and bought my oil and filter.I had to wait 15 minutes to be checked out at the auto counter while at one time 5 different employees were behind the counter. Only two of them were busy! What a joke! Why not make appointments so people don't have to wait forever? They do if you buy tires.

Among the Walmart auto centers I have been to, this is by far the best. I called this morning to check on the wait, and even though it was four hours and things were nuts there, the lady was friendly and helpful. I waited until afternoon to get in, and the wait was shorter. The staff were still friendly and helpful even after a very long day for them.Service: Tires

Sunday afternoon rude dark haired lady told me 3 hr wait to fix a tire. Responded be back tomorrow. Monday afternoon, stop in asked for wait time to fix flat and same rude lady gasped and responded we have been here all day at least 2 hours and may not get it done tonight. Left... now Monday 7:10am, 2nd car in shop told 30 min... it is now 8:55 and just pulled vehicle in the shop. Terrible service... new lady at counter was nice today..

Lazy and rude, that's the service that you can look forward to here. It should never take 90 minutes for an oil change, it's a 10 to 15 minute job at the most if you're not lazy, slow or stupid. The 90 minute wait was an improvement from the 4 hour wait from the day before when I attempted to get the oil changed.So if you want to have any type of life outside of waiting for these lazy people to work on your car, go anywhere else. Literally anywhere else in Galesburg is going to treat you better and provide actual customer service

If I could give 0 stars I would. There is a lady that works back there and she is the most rude and disrespectful lady I have ever met. At one point I was in there waiting in line and the phone was going off and she looked up and said oh my god just shut up because the phone was ringing. Every time I call it takes at least 15 minutes of me being on hold for her to answer the phone and when she does she s rude. Has a nasty tone and a nasty attitude. Walmart needs to fire her!

Always the worst customer service in automotive. Today I witnessed them tell someone to take their OWN tire off after paying for a replacement. No one go here. The staff seem to have no direction and there is a girl working back there that should have been let go long ago. She is rude and dismissive to customers. Lack of managment and customer service skills.

Tried to get my oil changed today. I was told they weren't taking anymore cars. This was over 2 hours before closing time. The associate was "RUDE & INSULTING" once I asked, Why? After doing my other shopping, I exited out the Automotive section. Where the same associate was sitting talking with a customer. Keep up the lackluster performance, I'm sure corporate agrees.

Bought 2 all terrain tires for my wife s van in March had a flat yesterday. They don t want to make an appointment said theirs a 4 hour wait and they probably couldn t patch it anyway. Worse place ever 3 months on a $125 tire and they won t replace it said the road hazard is patch only but the women even said it looked like a defective tire but theirs nothing they can do.

Not Good. Technicians balked, didn't want to service my car, found flimsy excuse that too much needed removed to replace the battery- Nonsense. Shows they don't know enough to trust then w your car. Then paid store price for battery I found online. Off to someone who can do the work . . . Go figure. They don't deserve even one star.

It takes hours to get anything done. I went in today to get my oil changed, windshield wipers fixed, and tires rotated. after an hour, they called and said the broke my dipstick and I would have to go somewhere else to get it priced and then maybe they would fix it. They didn't even do the windshield wipers or tires. Then I called and no one answered, someone mumbled something, said they would transfer, then hung up. Do not come here.

Great customer service. Only replaced a couple tires so I can t comment on their abilities too far. But they did a good job.

Terrible experience. Needed to buy 2 new tires. And could not get anyone to answer the telephone in the automotive department. Sat with a ringing telephone for over 5 minutes, being answered and transferred to the tire department and still noone answered. At the Macomb store and Galesburg store. Unbelievable. Thanks Walmart.

After waiting two hours for an oil change and a tire I was told it was done. After looking at my receipt I saw the oil change wasn't even on there so I asked if it had been done and was told no but that I could be put back on the list to get it done which would mean I would have had to wait another hour or more!

I only got an oil change but they were fast and efficient, price can't be beat. They work on a first come first serve basis so I try to get in early.

Don't go to Walmart to have auto service done, they take too long, there hardly qualified, and they're prices are atrocious. Trust me, go to another garage to have ANYTHING done to your vehicle.

Had tire put on. The price was excellent and the service was extremely quick. I loved how I was able to have it done on a Sunday.
