Front desk lady is a total nitwit with a horrible attitude. Like seriously how dose she even have a job with the mouth she has?(prolly how she keeps her job)! Not only that but they have promised me parts for a whole week and a half already! Everyday I call they would say parts are not in and they claim they have no idea when they will be in. Why tell someone they'll be here in two days and a week and half later still not have them in. I call everyday to be told tomorrow and to bring it in by 8am i show up to them telling me o they are not in yet. This is by far one of my worst experiences with a auto shop in my whole life. This is not how you treat someone about to drop over 1,400$ in your shop.

I took my escalade in to get it aligned and they broke my brake line in thr process then said they would fix it for free then when I drove my car it still pulls to the left and my brakes are having to be pushed all the way to the floor to stop. I had no issues with my brakes since I bought the car they didn't bleed the line enough and then today my entire brake in broke cuz of what they did. I do not recommend anyone take their car here. They obviously don't know what they are doing. Worst place in galesburg. Please beware.

Twice now I have taken my vehicle to Karmark and was given a high estimate on things that needed to be fixed. Both times, I went to a different mechanic only to find out that those things were not broke on my car.I spent a $1,000 previously to fix brake boosters when I got it back, I still had the same problem, but two other mechanics said it was the anti-lock brake system fuse instead, which it was.Also, when the grumpy old man is at the desk, he is rude and disrespectful. He rolls his eyes when you explain what is wrong with your car.I have spent a LOT of money here and I am very upset that they have been lying to me and taking advantage of me. I do not recommend them. 0 stars in my book.

I really wanted to buy new tires from Karmark. However, the first time I went there, I was told there would be a 2-hour wait. Second visit, a 3-hour wait. When I asked if I could put my name on a list, I was told No List.After that, I got prompt estimates from both Farm King and Galesburg Nissan.

After an alignment with brand new rack and pinion they damaged it by taking it apart why would you take apart a rack for alignment. Wasn't leaking when they got it. Now it's messed up. They cut the steel band altered it.

Update: since then, Karmark has been the only place treating us well and offering excellent service, too. If I wasn't put off by the unneeded bragging, I'd give five stars. (At that time there was an actual mandate, and I didn't know masks were useless agin' a virus.) The local car-brand dealership jacked their oil change prices by about triple. Karmark has never done anything like that to us. They have been friendly and efficient and capable.We used to go here for vehicle repair and more, but since they started their radio ad campaign bragging about not masking up, I'm concerned about their employees -- and customers! Geez, folks, it's a mandate. MASKS are mandated, in response to the owner's ... 'response.'

Charged us $600 and did absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Woman at front desk was beyond rude and unprofessional. We had to wait almost a week to even talk to the owner who could have cared less about our issue and did nothing to resolve it. Horrible customer service.

We had slow leak in a tire and got an oil change. Lady at desk was amazing she new our car took 5qts without asking us. I would recommend this place.But ask before what prices are some were little steep so we skip one of them. They were very busy so we went home to get the other car and left mine til they could get to it about an hour& half. So we went grocery shopping. Its first come serve. Th

I will be a loyal customer for a long time after my recent experience. An issue happened during my oil change (human error, no big deal). The owner Mark was so professional and nice about handling everything and making things right, which I very much appreciate. Definitely earned my business into the future.

I took my car in a couple days ago to have it looked at bc I have a misfire in my second cylinder. I already knew this before taking it in. There s was no mechanic there that day so I understood why they couldn t diagnose it. I was told when a mechanic would be there and came back when the mechanic was there and waited for 3 hours just for them to tell me that they can t give me a diagnosis bc it s not doing it anymore. I don t think any real mechanics work here. Don t trust this place with your vehicles!!! Had a Pontiac that I took there a while ago for them to fix the heat and they totally ruined it and it wasn t fixable after that point. This place is a huge joke!!!!

We're from out of town and limped into Galesburg late last night with a cv axle problem. We contacted Karmark around 6pm and the owner immediately contacted a parts store and ordered the correct part. The next day they had the part by 8:30am and we were back on the road by 10am. Not only were they efficient and quick but they were reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

I would rate this business 5 stars every day if I had the time. Been using them for 15 year or heck maybe more and they have never done me wrong. They have the fairest prices in my eyes and always know what is wrong and get it correct the 1st time.

I'm truly saddened to say that we have done business with Karmark Tire and Auto in Galesburg for 14 years but they lost us today. We called Sunday and spoke to them about working on our car and they told us to bring it in on Monday and they'd get it done for us. After 6:00 PM we had not heard a thing from them and called and were told the only two guys that she trusted to work on the car had gone home for the day. We had to have the car back. When picking it up, my wife told the woman how upset she was because we were told they'd have it done today so she had taken off work early to get it there. The woman said, "We don't do appointments here. That's not how we do business." My wife told her that we had always made appointments and that this was very upsetting and the woman said, "If you don't like how we do business then take your business elsewhere!" You had best believe we will! Over the years we've easily spent more than $12,000 in this place, but Mark, you've lost our business. Keep it up and you'll shutter just like the rest of the mall.

I had a very great experience with this place tonight! I had a flat tire tonight around 7. I live about 30 minutes from them. I put a donut on to try and make it to Galesburg and our donut became flat so we were minutes away from them closing and stuck on the side of the road with a flat donut. They stayed open to help us once we got there well after 8pm (there closing time). They replaced both tires at a very reasonable price and stayed open late to help us out all with a great attitude and friendly smiles. They were such a blessing to us tonight! If they accepted tips i would have tipped them great. I wish I knew the two men's names so I could recognize them. They saved us!

Came to Galesburg for a doctors appointment, ended up with a flat tire and a bad day. With no appointment they got me in immediately, had my car in the garage before I could even sit down and start reading the book I had brought with me!

Not knowing auto "stuff" it's the extra stuff that goes into a job that gives me a jolt when the extras are what's needed to complete the job. A good experience. The people are nice and informative and for my job I need a reliable vehicle. They take good care of me.

We ve been having our cars serviced here since they opened. Never have to worry about trying to sell you something you don t need. From my 1960 s classic American cars to our newer ones we ve always had quality service at a fair price.

Car was taken in january and they were asked to fix everything wrong and told that money was not an issue. The did a bunch of work on the front end and my brakes. Two months later the brakes went out on the vehicle when I was driving to school. I brought the car back in and they sold me another part for the brakes and a new tire. Another month later and the brake had went out again as I was driving to work on main Street. I finally got the car looked at by a separate mechanic and was told that the work they had done on the brakes the first time was wrong and that was my problem. That got fixed and I tried to call the store to get at least some form of reimbursement for all the problems I had and that was a waste of breath. Now a few months later I'm having to replace most of the parts they fix in the front end because all of that was done completely wrong as well. 100% never take your car here.

went in to get new brake pads, because they were wearing down the rotor. I told Karmark to give it a look, they said everything was good. they did not drive it whatsoever. 5 days later I took it to a different mechanic and they said that my brake pads have been eatin away at my rotor, and i was lucky to have gotten there in time.

I was shocked at how the employee working at the front desk received me. He did not even ask my name for the paperwork. I don't understand the reason behind that. I was the one who greeted him, and he did not greeted me back. That is my last time coming to your business.

My car started making funny noises on my drive from Oregon to Cincinnati. They spent quite a bit of time finding the problem & determined there was a broken belt in a tire. They said they didn't want to sell me tires because I couldn't use their warranty in Oregon. They put on my full sized spare & told me I'd need new tires when I got home. They were super friendly & charged me NOTHING.

My car was overheating and we are from out of town. We stopped by just to see if someone could check our coolant level and they were kind enough to do so and add coolant. We truly appreciate your speed, generosity and kindness.

Love the mechanics at KarMark. My tires were low and I had been to 4 gas stations but no air compressors were working. They checked each tire and added air. Even gave me a free valve cover. This is why I've been coming here for 15 years.

Good service. Took a while. They bite off a little more then they can chew with work wise. Need to expand or not book as many clients. Huy running the desk on a Sunday was extremely friendly

Traveling through had a tire going flat. no appt. and they got us in and out in 2 hrs.The price was more than I would pay if I had time to shop but not unreasonable. I am now running 1 New Kumho tire. Lugs stayed tight and no vibration on 5hr. Trip.Im very grateful and Thankful for the good work and compassion making us a priority.
