Purchased a 2017 jeep wrangler in mid January... So far I have had to replace all the lights. A new battery. All wipers. All tires. And now brakes and disks. Have yet to diagnose the antifreeze smell. Transmission has frequent issues. So I would assume this company does not do any used vehicle inspections on the vehicles they are selling. This has been a nightmare!! I do not recommend dealing with these people in any way between purchasing or financing.

Both batteries went on my van on a Saturday. AAA jumped the van but said not to shut car off and get to dealership. I arrived at 1:30 way past the time on a Saturday that they accepted walk-ins. This wonderful little girl, Maggie, made service our car would be serviced and that day. Maggie gets 5 stars for customer service.

Didn't get title and tags until 5 months after purchase, and that wasn't the only thing!I bought a used 2021 Promaster RV from Galena Chrysler on 7/15/23 and have nothing but regrets. I called at least 6 times to Galena Chrysler, twice to Stellantis, four times to my county treasurer, and once to Automotive Titling Company to track down my title and tags. After many calls Galena Chrysler admitted the person who was initially handling documents had quit, and over a month after I bought the vehicle they were notified about a discrepancy in the titling paperwork but it went unnoticed by the new hire. After another month passed without tags I called on 10/11 and the titling person said it would be handled promptly within a couple weeks. I called them again on 11/1 and she had apparently sat on the corrected paperwork for over a week before sending it. Then Alex called ATC and mentioned there was some issue due to me having paid off the loan with Stellantis, so there's no longer a lien on the title and they would get this cleared up within 48 hours. He had warned me not to pay off my loan too soon (b.s.) but I did, so is this what I get in return? 48 hours turned into another month of waiting and I finally got my title and tags on 12/15/23 after further calls. I'm beyond pissed and frustrated that my expensive vehicle sat in my driveway for months without tags due to the incompetence of this entire team of individuals at Galena Chrysler. In the end there was no refund of my having paid them to handle tax & tags.Is there even room to write this entire saga? I found this vehicle online at a reasonable price and arranged to drive 3.5 hours with a buddy to see it, however this used vehicle had a hidden story not included in the online description and not mentioned during the call. The salesman who showed it to me had next to NO knowledge of how anything worked and couldn't demonstrate that major components of this RV was even functional. It was also dirty and with carpet having been removed to make a repair to the battery and left uninstalled, as well as other car parts laying in an overhead bin - it wasn't "ready to show". In the end I convinced myself to take a chance to purchase, that's when the "as is" paperwork came out showing it had previously been totaled and rebuilt. Had I not driven so far to see it I probably would've been smart enough to walk away, but I stupidly continued to make a deal. Alex and the salesman were able to stay late to pull off the financing so I could drive it away "as is", amazing how motivated they were to sell but not to support after the sale. It was obvious this RV was missing the 24" TV since the bracket was still there for it. But only after I got it home and had time to research the options that should be on this model did I realize what else was missing in this RV:- Missing outside shower hose with sprayer- Missing telescoping ladder for getting up on the roof- Missing solar panels on roof (can see mounting brackets where it was installed)- Black water sewer drain fell out of the PVC storage pipe underneath due to a missing screw cap and had to purchase anotherIn the end I paid market price for a rebuilt with hail damage and missing major parts, and then couldn't drive it for 5 months and now it's winter time. I have no recourse having signed "as is" documentation. Don't make the mistake I did in dealing with these snake oil salesmen. Walk away when it doesn't feel right, and definitely avoid this dealer at all costs.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They sold me an unsafe car at 17 years old! My car was leaking brake fluid and told me there is nothing they can do. Should not of sold the car in that bad of shape. DO NOT buy from this place, overcharged and not worth it. Please be aware of this place!

Even though we have moved farther away, I will continue to use Galena Chrysler for service and repairs. I have been extremely happy with their work, pricing, and professionalism. Most of all, in my dealings with them, their honesty has been beyond reproach.

I have not used Galena Chrysler/Jeep for my car until recently. Just would like to say the service here is outstanding. Tyler in service is absolutely the best! He is very attentive and courteous to questions and problems that may be concerning you. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. I will definitely be bringing my car here for service in the future. Good job Tyler!

Thank you to the service department! I took my Jeep in to get serviced, they were super concerned about inconveniencing me when another part had to be ordered and it would take another day. They cared and that means a lot to me. The service guy talked me through everything they were doing like I was a human and not like I was a stupid girl like some dealerships. I live in Stockton and I will be taking my Jeep to Galena going forward.

On a weekend trip from Chicago, we got into Galena with our Mazda & noticed metal on metal screeching noises coming from the rear rotors once braking/getting off the highway. Jason and the rest of the team from Galena Chrysler effortlessly took us in last minute to check out our car (note: they do not service Mazdas) on a Friday afternoon (note: also a holiday!!). We ended up needing new rotors and brake pads, which the team obtained & replaced by closing time on Friday evening. We were pleasantly surprised that we weren't over-charged for this last minute, emergent need, especially with parts they do not typically keep in stock. Could not be more thankful for their support during an emergent brake situation!

I called into Galena Chrysler one day knowing I wanted to buy a jeep but, knew nothing. Alex took the time to educate me on all the different options. I was very impressed, not with just the knowledge but the patients he had with me as I made my decision. He could have easily just sold me a Jeep he had on the lot that day, but he took the time and located me exactly everything I wanted. In the end he didn t just sell me a Jeep, he sold me a lifestyle! I look forward to working with Alex on a business level for work trucks and service vans.

I liked Galena Jeep Chrysler Ram better at their old location hidden off of Route 20. I always like to support local mom and pop businesses. At the old place, I used to walk in and everyone knew me, even the guys in the service department. Now in this new location with high visibility right on Route 20, they're so busy (which is good, don't get me wrong) that the guy who sold me my car didn't even bother to wave or acknowledge me. I'm happy they're successful with their new location, I just miss the personalised service I used to get. I go to another Jeep dealer in the Chicago suburbs for service where you would think I would be just another customer, but they openly welcome me and call me by my name. Just like these guys used to. I don't know, I'm happy for their success in the new location. But I can't help but think they're sacrificing personalised service for sales.

I purchased a low mileage, slightly used right hand drive Jeep Cherokee. Alex gave me top dollar for my trade in. It was a pleasure to meet him in person. He is a nice guy. My sales person, Bob, and finance manager, Diane, were also nice. However, there was a lack of communication between them which initially caused an issue and almost made me not purchase the Cherokee. I also have not received the title or registration after one month. I was just informed today that there is a delay because the third party titling service Galena Chrysler uses needs me to send proof of insurance which shows the vin number for the Cherokee. I have complied with their request and hope it does not take another month to receive my title and registration.

I ordered my new Dodge Ram from Alex and Terry at Galena Chrysler , easiest thing i've ever done . Alex and Terry streamlined the process so that it was no hassle at all and actually fun ! Those guys are extemely knowledgeable in all things truck and car and taught me alot about car buying . They did'nt put any pressure on me and were super friendly like family ....so much so that im recommending them to all of my friends and family ! If i had known the process was this easy and affordable I would not have waited so long to get a new truck ! Hurry down there today and get taken care of like royalty !! - Tracy Kerr -

Alex, the owner's son, communicated clearly initially and gave what seemed to be a great price on a 2008 truck. He sent lots of photos, and in response to my questions about its condition mentioned just two issues with the truck. However, it was like pulling teeth to get him to confirm whether there was any rust on the body and to get permission to have it inspected at a nearby dealership.On arriving at Galena Chrysler, I found several other minor issues, and Alex agreed to fix most of them. Unfortunately, they really dropped the ball on these fixes. When he said they were done, I found some problems that hadn't been fixed, which they then mostly took care of. Later at home, I found that others either hadn't been fixed or were done incorrectly. I took care of most of them myself, but it took months of persistence to get Alex to send the right parts for one of the problems that he had said they would fix.In the next few weeks I found more problems with the truck that Alex had not mentioned in his initial answers. I don't know if he was aware of them or not. I should have inspected the "as is" truck more carefully, rather than assuming that they had done so and were giving a full and accurate report on its condition.Overall, I'm somewhat satisfied because of the good (not great) price, because they added some accessories from another used truck on the lot, and because they eventually sent the right parts. However, I recommend inspecting their used vehicles very thoroughly and don't trust that they have disclosed all the problems or fixed what they said they would.

Fabulous customer service. I arrived 10 minutes early and was immediately assisted to complete my oil change. Gary indicated if I wanted to use a company vehicle to run errands I was welcome to do so. My oil change was completed within 30 minutes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Galena Chrysler!

Stopped in for an oil change. Staff was super friendly and even took extra time to make sure my spare tire could be removed easily in case of emergency. Good thing they checked because the spare was fused on from years of winter salt. Would highly recommend!

Traveling and had an unexpected tire issue. I spoke with a local and they suggested I visit the Jeep dealership. Dropped by and they got me in immediately, and resolved the issue in about a half hour! Fantastic service!! Extra thanks to Jacob and Austin for helping to get our Jeep back on the road!!

Audi owner - raining and somehow my drivers side wiper was MIA . Although they didn t have a wiper that fit , the service sept went above and beyond .Long story - but after trying two different blades - driving themselves to Napa to try to get an alternate - nothing worked. Only option - take passenger wiper install on drivers side and wrap the passenger blade w a shop towel and lots of tape to keep it from scratching my windshield!I was able to make it to Sterling Il on time for an appt and was able to safely drive !!Without them and I wish I knew the name of the nice man that assisted me - I would have had a less than stellar day.Thank you from the bottom of my heart -Michelle
