I bought a Honda CRV from Knowlton and I cant even put into words. How wonderful the office staff has been to me. They go above and beyond excellent customer service. I would recommend Knowlton hands down better than any buy here pay here I have ever seen. Knowlton motors staff and mechanics ROCK!!!!

Submitted app. Was told we were approved for $10,000 worth of financing. Selected vehicle. Test drove. Said everything was good to go but the guy who finalizes the sales & does the paperwork was out with Covid & would call us when he was back. Never heard back. Ever. Weeks later we got a denial letter in the mail saying financing wasn t approved but we were told we were definitely approved for $10,000 worth. Went elsewhere eventually.

These guys a great. Had a flat tire even though they couldn't fix it (Tesla tire size) they helped look for one, pumped the tire up so it wouldn't hurt the rim. Then even let me park in their front lot till a tow could come. Best customer service one could ask for! Go to them if you need any service and want good communication.

They are a buy here pay here but run your credit before they will sell you a car the whole point of buy here pay here is to buy a car you want not to be told your credit isn't good enough to buy the car you want. For one wrong person I tried to buy a car from you and you said the only thing I qualify for was a a few different 90s model vehicles

I could not recommend a better car rental location. I have rented from all of the major/chain car rental locations in Illinois and none of them compare to Mark V's stellar customer service coupled with quality rentals. Upon this review, I have rented from Mark V on four separate occasions and they have never disappointed. The staff is always warm and friendly (humous even). The care and concern experienced on every visit are only matched by the more than competitive rental prices. If you need a car rental, Mark V by far is your best option within a 50 mile radius. Try it and see. You will not be disappointed!

When looking for a used car for a relative we wanted to make sure she was not taken advantage of.We went to Knowlton Motors and Jim was very nice and helpful. There were a few minor items we requested they check out prior to our purchase. They had taken care of them by noon the next day.When he told her the trade-in value of her car she had a huge smile and said Sold! They offer fair prices for buying and trading in your car.Rod was very helpful when doing the paperwork. It was so convenient to be able to have all of the necessary steps taken care of at their location.Super quick, friendly service!

They were amazing. Jim is great and understanding. He was able to find me a vehicle that works best for me and my budget. If I have any questions he knew them. Will definitely be working with him for now on when I'm ready for my next vehicle.

I love these guys. The owners and staff treat you like family. Never had an issue. Very reliable and no matter what they ve always worked with me. This is my second car with them and I ll continue to give them all my business

Purchased a Pontiac G6, which we will payoff next month and are planning to buy a Suv/truck in the next couple of months. Definatly with be going back. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They fixed a speaker problem that I did not even notice. The only thing we have had to do are the routine oil changes.

This is a new update been with knowlton motors for about 3 years now and the amount of kindness and help they give you is unreachable from any other company has given me. Still stand by with the 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone.

They have friendly staff. I bought my dream car from them and they have been very helpful with their financing options. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to buy a car. It is the best and most honest place in Freeport

I am not a current customer of Knowlton motors, nor am I family or friends. My review is given with complete honesty as all my reviews are. Four years ago I came to Freeport without a pot to piss in. Divorce and a disability left me in a bad place. The Knowlton brothers took a chance with me and financed a wonderful vehicle. They are honest and genuine guys with a business to run. The bad mouth reviews here are by those people who choose not to take responsibility and need to blame others for their mistakes. This was a stepping stone for me as it should be for most.

Rod is the man.. I can say from being a new customer that they really go out of their way to help the customers pick and maintain there purchase. I've been to other lots for buy here pay here. And they made sure everything is working properly before delivery I've yet to find another dealer in the area that matches there service and care for the customer. rod you have a customer for life... I highly recommend them... A+ all around experience!!

I have honestly never felt so discriminated against in my life. Has anyone ever heard of a test ride? You know, where a salesman from the lot drives you around so you can get the feel of the car from the passenger side? Yeah, me either until today at knowlton. This came right after he informed me they don't finance to Rockford residents. He claimed it was do to 45 mile distance and no tow trucks. I guess that means they have enough issues with their vehicles that they need to be close. By the way, my home is 25 miles away. Not to mentiim I wandered both lots for over 30 minutes and not one of the sales reps asked if I needed help. I probably should have known at that point but anyway. Not sure what it was but they were from the moment I got to the lot not wanting my business. Sad thing is, I was referred by one of their employees, smh. If I could give 0 stars I would. With all the good reviews and the reference I was excited and just knew I'd be driving away in a car today. Nope, never even got to test drive, SMH. Horrible experience!!!!

Knowlton Motors always has available cars that will get you to work. They have a car shop and rentals at the same location. Getting a car threw them saved me.

If I could give you a higher star rating I would! They are the definition of great customer service and treat you like family. Always comes through, works with you, and keeps you on the road. So thankful I pick the right place to get a car from.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. I needed service right away and totally understand that they could not provide it because they were busy. But they at least need to thank somebody for seeking their services. They just sat there, waiting for me to leave, which created an uncomfortable situation for me, as a customer who does not know them personally.Advise: Next time thank the customer for stopping by and provide some alternatives.Muchas gracias, pero no vuelvo m�s.

I just went in and the gentleman was very rude to me. I've never been treated so poorly by a dealership as far as attitude went and they sell low quality cars for a high price. Do not recommend.

This is a pay here but here business. They sell junk cars for a high price with high interest. High don't recommend to anyone. Tried getting a car here and they wouldn't even let me take it. Then when I told them I was going elsewhere they stole my deposit on the car. $300+ went in the owners pocket and he denies all of it when he's the only guy I talked to there.
