I have been going here for decades, and Suzie, with decades of experience, keeps me coming back. She is serious about customer satisfaction, and makes sure everything is done right. Today I noticed that they have expanded their tire range, and now have WeatherTech!Aug 10, 2022, had oil changed, and it was fast, efficient, and very thorough. Their Vehicle Condition Report that they email to you immediately after service sets a new benchmark in the automotive service industry!Had an oil change on Mar7, 2023, and it was done just as I finished my coffee...perfect timing!Dec 6, 2023 oil change, and again, done just as I finished my coffee!Service: Oil change

It took me 2 years to finally get the courage to put my truck in the shop to replace a heater core. It wasn't the price. It was the amount of things that can be missed or go wrong. They made me feel so much better after it was done. I have heat now. And everything else works fine. Great job!

Butitta Auto in Freeport Illinois is the place you want to take your vehicle for all the care it needs. I took my Lincoln MKX to them, and you can see the care they take when working on your vehicle.They also keep you well informed on the processes they take when making sure you get your vehicle back in the working order you would expect.

We bought tires off of the Goodyear site and had them installed at Buttita Auto in Freeport. We thought everything went great and my husband said he was surprised with how quick it was. Unfortunately we also paid for an oil change. He thought it was done and noticed my light wasn t reset, so he reset it. We were driving 4 days later and my low oil light came on. Unfortunately somehow my oil change didn t get done and we had to buy oil and call them. They aren t open on the weekend and it was Saturday. They got it fixed on Tuesday which was another headache because thankfully they refunded the oil we bought and did the oil change but they couldn t give cash back so they had to have the exact card he used to refund the money. Also, when we scheduled the appointment it had to be changed which caused my daughter to miss preschool. It could have gone better, but my car drives a lot better now and since we got the oil change figured out we have had no other issues.

Overpriced, upcharges too much compared to other shops In the area that give a better service for a cheaper priceEDIT: we asked for the ball joints to be replaced and when we asked how much just for that alone the total was 1000-1100 with a 10% discount. Most ball joints for my make n model are 90-150$ so 400-500 in parts. 600-700 in labor? Total scam. The amount of horror stories from this shop is endless.

I always have a great experience here. They've always been absolutely honest with my vehicles needs and I never have a hard time getting in. If you'd like good personal service for your vehicle's health, I'd go here.

Brought my vehicle in to mount and balance tires and have an alignment done. The technician raised my vehicle to high and damaged the roof of my truck. On top of that, 2 months later my tires were bald on the inside. Same wear pattern as before I had an alignment done.

Just needed an oil change and inspection. Had a great experience. Everything done correct and in a timely manner. They were very thorough and let me know my tires were good on tread yet dry rotted. Very helpful.

Superb customer service.So courteous and polite. They go above and beyond to squeeze you in when your in a pinch. Mechanics are knowledgeable and great! Great prices too! Very reasonable! Would highly recommend!

My fiance took her jeep for an alignment and told her that they needed to replace all 4 ball joints and a tie rod end. Took it to fs corp tire and they confirmed nothing wrong. When i called to ask they hung up on me. Very unproffesional.

They were very friendly and very helpful. We had an urgent tire/stud issue we needed taken care of. We came in without an appointment and they got us in and took care of us fairly quickly. We definitely appreciate them and their help.

Yesterday I had 4 shocks installed on my new 2023 Ford F350 dually. Butitta did a great and quick job replacing the shocks. My only gripe is I paid for shop supplies & environmental fees but my old shocks were unknowingly returned to me. So know I have to dispose of the used shocks.Other than this mishap I would definitely recommend having auto service and repair done at Butitta Auto-Freeport.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Auto tire replacement

Great mechanics and service at this shop. Never have had an issue with anything at all. Very speedy and knowledgeable technicians. They give you an overall breakdown of what needs fixed and what might need fixed in the near future. Very affordable as well. Kind people right when you walk in and they also sell cool products for your car/pickup. Thanks

Recently my new battery on my Corvette was low after storage. They checked it and said my headlight motors continue running draining the battery. The cost to replace the motors plus labor would be around $900.00. I passed on it and ordered headlight motors on my own for $100.00 for the pair as to two at $250.00/motor. They then called a couple days later and said they would install them for $330.00 labor at $90.00/hour respectively in which I thought it was kind of them to offer. 1) It should only take one hour as per my research including headlight adjustment (if needed). 2) I just found the headlight connector cables were disconnected as someone at their shop disconnected them and may have not mentioned they left them disiconnected. 3) The motors will run for a couple to five minutes after they're turned off as per factory. 4) Update: John called & said all info was on a report they sent though I don't recall getting the report. I may have misplaced it. However I recall getting a verbal in which I actually don't recall they were going to leave the headlight connectors disconnected due to draining the battery. BittIm thinking they did ethey'repretty efficient. I was under the impression the motors weren't working at all and needed replacement. I'll see if the car starts today then let them know the update. I started the car, turned on the headlights as they're working just fine. Called John to let him know as we went over the delay timing for turning the lights off with the motors running a few minutes. He said they were cuntnually running for a longer period of time after the proposed timing issue was brought to his attention. I advise the research I didn't find any electronic issues, however I found the gear spindles wore over time as there may be electeonic issues I haven't found yet. The operating thing to do at this point is to see of the car starts every morning and ensure the headlights flip like they're supposed to. They have excellent customer service talking with you, not at you and fine tuning information. Very much appreciated!

My goodness what a positive experience. Owner, John Hillman and his son, Noah, could not have taken better care of us. A blowout caused the need for 4 new hard to find tires which were delivered and installed the next day before the promised time. We needed a rental and when enterprise had none, they called and secured the only available car in town. Have driven on the new tires for over 300 miles with no issues which there could have been if not installed properly. We were at their mercy and fortunately this merciful family run business is the one we limped into on a Friday afternoon. They could have told us there was damage done to the rim, thus running up the tab. Thank you for your caring ways and outstanding service.Service: Auto tire replacement

I love Butitta s online connection. Who doesn t need to feel secure and connected about their transportation, especially way out here on roads winding through farm country.
