TERRIBLE PLACE! VERY DISORGANIZED! Tech always has excuses on his job. I tried taking my car for HID lighting installation on my vehicle for 3 months. I keep es getting pushed back on understaff, call ins, no time, has car shows, no room in the shop and forgot about my appointment due to not putting me down on his calendar.As for the shop is it incredibly disorganized inside. You walk in it looks like a junk yard. Parts thrown everywhere with no order, garbage everywhere, and tech/mechanic always seems lost in his own workshop.I highly don t recommend coming here for any work.

I should have went with my gut feeling. When I first called they gave me a price of 450 and I explained everything I had. I show up and tech give me a higher price. The tech stated that they could install my radio and they had installed the same one multiple times. I get a call saying they are getting error codes. I go into Shockwave, I contact the company for the radio, and their tech talks to the companies rep, and we find out the tech didn t plug in one of the main cords.So I leave and they try to install the radio again but they can t because they are getting a dif set of codes.I go to pick up my truck and when I get home, I realize they put multiple search marks on my dash. See pictures. I take the radio to another shop and they install it with no problems.

The perfect place to get a stereo for your car! Told them what I wanted my stereo to sound like and came back 2 hours later to exactly what I asked for. Actually even better than I was expecting! I won t go anywhere else!

Don t waste your money! I m done with this place. I spent well over 3k here. Most of which was spent replacing equipment that blew out within months of getting fixed! I have a warranty but still have to pay to get it fixed each time. I went through at least 4 amps,3 subs, and 2 door speakers and CURRENTLY my subs AND one door speaker is blew. It s ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE AVOID THEIR SERVICE

Anthony and the guys really did my Jeep Justice! Completely revamped my audio system and now it sounds more like a luxury suv and I couldn t be happier. As a side note I had no clue they did way more than just audio. I m going to get lighting and some more accessories put on in the very near future.

I loved the fact that i started out going to install sound system i bought elsewhere. They put it in for me at a good price and the installer was friendly and really cool. Eventually i came back to upgrade my system and loved the quality and price of the products that i purchased. Never had problems and have had nothing but compliments on my sound system. I also went there for detail work as well as my radar and window tinting. Everything's was awesome and i enjoy going bc the employees are friendly and efficient when it comes to my vehicle. I personally won't let anyone else touch my car anymore. I will be returning for rims and lights when summer hits. I recommend this establishment for anyone looking to flash up their vehicle or just to have fun with their car.

I took my old school corvette there to have the stereo system upgraded. What I like about Shockwave is they are very knowledgeable about the products they sale. Giving advice or suggestions on which systems would be best for my needs. Not like other place I went to in Indiana who couldn't even quote a price, if you don't want to do the job then just say so.

Had them install a remote start on our car. Next day the car would not start. They said it was user error, then it was we needed a new battery which we then replaced. Still couldn't start the car. As soon as we had them take the brain out it started with no issues. Car has worked perfectly once device removed. They would not refund our money and charged us to remove the device. Would not recommend them for remote starts.

They did a good job on installing my sub. I brought my own amp and sub. While the install was fairly well done the pricing was a huge ripoff. I was quoted $200 for the install. On talking to the person who was installing my sub and amp, he quoted me with $150 total. After about 2 hours I come back to the shop ready to pay what he quoted me and he ended up charging me $250. There are plenty of reviews talking about this "ripoff" experience.

Very overpriced for unprofessional work my amp. Kept cutting out i called them back they said it shouldn't do that so to bring the car up i did they turned the amp down well low and behold a couple months later after not having my subs i have a friend tell me to bring it to him he looks at everything and found 6 small screws holding in the ground terminal that i paid almost 400 dollars For "PROFESSIONAL" work there will be a pic posted you won't be able to miss it also when i asked about things they didn't really give me answers like what kind of converter did you use i told them i had a friend who does wiring and he was going to swap the stock amp for the door speakers to make them louder he said you couldn't do that without switching the radio well guess what you can they are bs and will not return or recommend then to anyone

I read all these glowing, positive reviews, and I can't help but think these are staff and family members posting this....I had Shockwave make a fiberglass mold for me....over 1 year, and $1000 later, still no mold. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. After calling and inquiring about the part, I was told I owed $300+ in materials and labor for repairs made to the original part after they damaged it! Wait....They damaged my original part and I am supposed to pay for it?? I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay to have my original fixed when the damaged was caused by Shockwave!As I have only dealt with the fiberglass shop there, I cannot comment on the rest of the place. But, after one year, $1000 and still no part, I can comfortably say that the fiberglass shop is a hack shop. Mike has no idea what he is doing. There is no reason why it should take this long to have a simple 2-part mold made. There is also no reason to for me to pay money to have the part fixed that they told me they broke!This may be the place to go if you need stereo work or tinting, but if your job involves fiberglass, I would avoid them at all costs!

The owner gave us a personal tour of his shop. Had an opportunity to sit in one of the cars (a C7) he brought to a light show. Told us about the newest products he has for 2021. What an amazing experience! From budget to best in show he has something for you. I HIGHLY recommend SHOCKWAVE CUSTOMS to you!

Went here to get my window tints done. When I goty vehicle back as I was driving home one of the tints was starting to peel down so I drove back and they fixed that but left contamination under the tint. After a couple of days of letting the tints sit I noticed alot of bubbles and contamination under the tint. I called to get it fixed and they schedulede no prolblem. I drop the car off they call and said they did the best they can well all they did was fix one bubbles when there were alot more. You can tell alot of the tint needed to be replaced but they did not want to redo the work. Well when I go to pick up the car I seen the owner and tinter looking at the vehicle so I go over and there telling me I'm being too picky but it's actually a very bad job all the way around. Owner asked what I wanted and I said for the job to be done right and if it needed to be redone to redo the job well you got so mad he actually flicked me off scream to leave his shop and never come back. And this whole time I was giving them the benefit of doubt to fix the job. I cannot believe how rude the owner was and they would not stand by there work.Stay away !! Go to 5 star down the street had my wife car done there and turned out nearly perfect

Don't bother making an appointment. I had an appointment twice and both times I came in they said they were still working on another car. I think that is very unprofessional and they should at the least call you and let you know. I took off work twice which means I lost money. Why make appointments if you can't honor them? They will bump you on the schedule if they have a job bigger than yours.

I had my Windows tinted a K40 put in and my car on the outside cleaned as well as my engine cleaned. I am vary anal about how things are on my car. They did a great job. Dont rush them expect a day at least to have the work done. They did great work and they will fix the issue and take responsability of the issue if there is one. There friendly as well. I spent a lot of money but you get what you pay for. And im not a staff member. It is all warranted so if you see an issue just go back and have them fix it

They do terrible work and have unexperienced installers working there. I got talked into buying there brand speakers which sound like garbage. The Craftsman ship of their speakers is terrible. They were vibrating my door no matter how low the volume was and not to mention the crossovers on the speakers are exposed. They had to wrap the crossovers in electrical tape so it wouldn't touch any metal when they mounted it in the door. I also had a problem with a remote start I had installed by them about 7 years ago. The transponder ring kept coming outta place which would make the car crank and not start. They replaced it twice and it's happening again. I found out there's an updated module they can install and a firm ware update that's needed but I guess again unexperienced. I also had a new radio that they installed. When they installed the radio and I lost some of my steering wheel radio control functions which they said is very common. To me that's unexceptable. I took it to another installer and they fixed it. Again unexperienced. I Would never go there again. And if your all wondering who repaired all of my issues I talked about. Mobile Concepts. Top of the line installer and very experienced. I was also told they have alot of Shockwave customers coming in to get issues fixed that happened at Shockwaves. Do your research people.

Its been a year since I had shockwave customs tint my windows. The tint has been fantastic, no peeling and no change of color. But when they took the door panels off to tint the entire window (atleast thats what they told me they did) I did hear squeaking and rubbing as I closed my door everytime. It was a simple fix on my part but they should definitely check if everything is ok next time. Also found it to be quite expensive and in my opinion a little overpriced. But the film has been great on the windows, no problem with that!

Head a remote start put in my work van. They were able to get it installed in less than 4 hours and I was able to take it home the same day! Very professional and reasonably priced! Thanks!!

They installed Shockwave speakers in my RV, which I didn't think could be done. They did an incredible job and the speakers sound awesome!Going back this week to have Sirius Radio installed.I WILL NOT take my vehicles anywhere else.

This business failed to properly install my Motorcycle audio system as agreed to. They failed to install new wiring harnesses throughout the motorcycle as agreed to. Shockwave also failed to install quick connects to my saddle bags for detachment as agreed to. Shockwave failed to communicate that they were physically cutting into my motorcycle fairing to install tweeter speakers, which left a 1/8inch gap between the tweeter speaker and the fairing itself. After taking the motorcycle to another audio shop, it was noted that Shockwave installed eight (8) speakers to one amplifier which was noted as the reason why the sound would clip in and out and subsequently burst the front speakers. I would also like to note that I drove my motorcycle for approximately 15 minutes after making a payment of $2,265 to Shockwave, before one of the front speakers burst. Shockwave re-installed the same speaker in front, which burst again after riding approximately 30 minutes. I took my Motorcycle back to this business a third time at which point Shock Wave re-installed the same speaker and proceeded to turn the amplifier down so that the speaker wouldn't blow again. I then drove the Motorcycle away from Shockwave and discovered that the sound distribution of the Motorcycle had diminished due to the amplifier being turned down by the owner. I proceeded to contact the owner and asked that a better install be performed, or a return be made. The owner advised me that he "wished he had never installed my speakers and stated to me that he knows im not illiterate and could read the receipt. At the time, I informed the owner that I would be headed to his shop in order to pick up my old amplifier which he failed to tender back to me. The owner told me I wasnt allowed to come back to his shop and that he would call the police if I did. This owner was very unprofessional and got upset because his quality of service was extremely poor. I also contacted the BBB regarding this matter.

RIP OFF ARTISTS! NON-PROFESSIONALWe has them install sub woofers w/ amplifier last January (2014). Non professional employees and long wait time to even speak with someone. They are too busy talking among themselves and another time there was only one employee working.A few months ago the system stopped working (Dec 2014). Just brought the car in (Feb 2015) and they told us that the amplifier was "fried" and that we would need a new one. Our family friend (certified mechanic) took a look and it was a wire that had disconnected. Reconnected the wire and it is working fine. We have heard several of the same type of stories from several of our friends as well. Being told that they need a new amp or new system when it was actually something as simple as reconnecting a wire. It seems that Shockwave is intentionally trying to mislead and rip people off.Taking a look at the other reviews on here, it seems this company has their own employees write the positive reviews. I would seek out people who have ACTUALLY gone there before you decide to go there yourself. If you have a sub/amp problem - do yourself a favor and check your wires before you even go there.~ After our experience there, we spoke to a few of our son's friends and learned that many of them have had problems here as well. They all state, "yeah, that Skockwave place is shady". Wish we would have spoken with them first!

I have been there three times. Tony remembers you. He is a down to earth guy and a straight shooter. They do great work and its the place you want to go. Sounds clean and a boom. Lighting, wheels, lambo doors, Nos on a bike! They have you coverd. Weather you want to spend 300 hundred or drop a grip of cash on the best they have you covered.

Way overpriced for the work! Got led headlights & lights in back, my bumper was put back on crooked & they didn t put my pins back on so my bumper could of just fell off.. never again

Don't waste your time!!!I had 10am appt, theses guys didn't even show up until 10:15, and they were all stoned or hung over. They said I was the first appointment, but took another customer ahead of me. They didn't move the show cars out of the bay's until 10:40. Four employees just standing around smoking talking about partying last night. Absolutely no customer service!
