First experience with Ed was over a year ago with my previous vehicle when he was to do a diagnostic on the transmission. Car ended up dying on the way to Pashco, 3 blocks shy of reaching their driveway. When we finally got the car into his shop and after he did an evaluation + estimate of repairs he did not hesitate to be upfront and honest that we should not waste our money saving the car because it's not worth it and to use that money as a down-payment on a new car. Also suggested we needed to get rid of that car and add6 fast as possible.Since then the wife has only been taking her car + her company fleet of work trucks and vans to Pashco.We did finally replace my vehicle and I do not drive much any more due to medical issues so maintenance is far and few between now on my car, but as of late I also have started taking my car only to Pascho.

Honest, Courtesy & Professional!!!Pashco Automotive Ed was everything in the title and more! He provided a helpful & flexible time to bring the car. He gave diagnostic results timely and clear explanation of repair needs, realistic expectations of time needed to repair. Even though there were challenges getting parts from Hyundai parts department he was thorough with communicating to me the challenges and steps being taken. The time he stated the repair would be complete, he met the time. You will need GPS assistance to find the location (unless you just know) BUT IT IS WORTH THE FIND PASHCO ED IS A HIDDEN GEM AUTO REPAIR CLINIC & PROVIDES A GREAT EXPERIENCE! (I had Timing chain replacement & necessary gaskets needed to complete). Thanks Ed for the positive experience & repairing my car.

Pashco Automotive does not disappoint. I've been taking my 2004 Toyota Highlander here for a few years now. Ed is incredibly informative and always gets the job done in a timely manner. Ed was so helpful! He saved the life of my vehicle! Two other mechanics said that they couldn't help me, but Pashco fixed my leaky brake system. Ed also quoted me a reasonable, fair price. I was looking for a local mechanic that could change the timing belt on my Honda Ridgeline since the dealerships are so expensive. Pashco Automotive was close and had great reviews. When I called and talked to Ed he sounded knowledgable about my repairs and could get me in in a few days. I dropped the truck off the night before my appointment and Ed called me the next afternoon saying the truck was done. When I paid for his service there were no surprises with extra parts or labor and the bill was actually a few dollars less than his quote. I'm happy with the repairs he did and glad to find a local shop I feel good about taking my vehicles to for service.Service: Engine repair

I was on my way through town, and when I explained my situation, they looked my car that night and got it fixed the next morning! Thank you so much. The problem seems to be fixed (no weird noises from the back!) and I really appreciate the thorough conversation he had with me about any other minor issues he saw and other things I might notice in the car to not worry about during my journey, but just deal with later. Oh, and he even rotated my tires while he was at it and gave me a great price on an oil change......Great service!Services: Tires, Brakes

Just brought in my xterra with much needed work in prep for a big trip. Ed was amazing, great guy, great pricing, great work and FAST. Seriously would give this place more stars if I could. 10/10.

I take all of my vehicles to Pashco Automotive, i would not trust anyone else. They are trustworthy, honest, prices up front that can't be beat. The work is done when promised, they are very accommodating, and i am extremely happy with all the repairs i have had done.

Attentive to what was wrong with my vehicle and did the work in a timely manner. The prices at Pashco are better than any around. It's a small family owned business and the staff are great. This place is the best in the burbs. Tried other places in years past and this is the place I will only take our cars now. Open, honest, explain any options you may have and the prices are the best around! I urge you to give them a try. Whether it's just an oil change, etc., once you try them, you will agree and be hooked ! My check engine light came on a Saturday morning and I needed it to get looked at. I called Pashco and Eddie was able to fit me in right away. He checked out my life was able to fix it and gave me an oil change too. I was able to get this all done before 2. So happy I found Pashco and Eddie! I won t go anywhere else!

I went without a radio for almost 2 years...amp went out somehow. I tried to figure it out my self but never could and could not afford a new amp. I brought my car in for new brakes, never mentioned the car having no sound ! Left with my radio working, axle fixed, no brakes needed! Walked out the door paying half of what I thought it was going to be. When does that happen at an auto repair shop!!! They are honest and go above and beyond to get your vehicle back in working order. Definitely would recommend them!!! I have not lived in Chicago land area since 2007 but have moved through several times being active duty military. Eddie is the type of mechanic that I take my truck to every single time I am through Chicago, latest stop was August 2019 driving from Alaska to Washington DC. It doesn't matter if it is just an oil change I make sure he puts eyes on the truck, because he is the only mechanic I trust. I have called him from Alaska with truck issues, and he personally talked to a mechanic there to ensure they were accomplishing the correct work. I do not know a harder working, more honest, and dedicated mechanic who deserves your business!

Did a great job finishing the rear differential rebuild that I wasn't able to complete on my truck. I supplied the parts and he did the rest. It's been a little over a month and it's running great. We couldn't be happier. thanks

I went to another auto mechanic about my head lights and was told i needed a whole head light assembly whitch was going to be $1400.00. He fixed everything for 160.00. He has my business for life. Thanks ed.

Probably the cleanest repair shop I have ever been to. I bring everything to Pashco. It is always done quickly and everyone is really nice.
