I initially had John s perform a tune-up of a 1999 Ford Ranger because my battery had died and it had not had any major work since I owned it for over 15 years (so it was about time). They provided a very detailed inspection and analysis, finding some critical issues (as I expected). They communicated with me throughout the process and performed the work at a reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

I have had my oil changed a few times and tires rotated here. Always great service and price. Everyone that I have spoken to is very friendly and answers all of your questions. I would recommend checking out this shop if you are looking.

Dreaded check engine light came on only after a couple of months of buying used car. Called them late right before they closed, and they got me in the next day and back on the road the next day. Service was awesome, and the pricing was beyond fair for what I was expecting. Corey and Johnny are the real deal. I'm grateful we found an honest car mechanic close to home!!!

John, his family and crew are the only shop my family uses. They provide great quality work, excellent customer service and they make it plain and simple when it comes to taking care of your vehicles. Give them a try, I'll be very surprised if you don't feel the same as we do.

John s Auto did a wonderful job inspecting my vehicle. They explained what was wrong with it in a way I easily understood. The staff was extremely friendly and honest. Their prices were also very reasonable. I had a broken turn signal and I brought my vehicle in and the service was amazing. They got me out very quickly and they were very personable. It is rare these days to find an auto service provider that you can trust 100%. I ve beefed taking my 2007 Volvo to John s for 5 years (even though it is out of my way), because I know they are the best, they are friendly and genuine, and most of all they are fair and honest. Had my car at the dealership for three days. The dealer service department could not locate the source of an annoying creaking sound. John took a look for me and located the source of the noise in 20 minutes. He replaced the defective part and it's been smooth quiet driving ever since. John is a total pro and his business is all about great customer service. I wouldn't think of bringing my cars anywhere else. Thanks John!

Super nice guys! Owner John and son Johnny couldn't be nicer to deal with. After a horrible experience at the local Ford dealership, where the service writers were the most arrogant, curt and incompetent people you'd ever want to deal with, John's automotive was like going from hell to heaven in automotive care. They knew how to get the lift arms under my car with ground effects and even though I was only in there for an oil change, they let me look under my newly acquired car and explained things to me. I would highly recommend John's Automotive.

John and Steve are the best. Great service without any upsell..Update: 10.10.23.The guys in this shop are some of the best at what they do. I have had both 2015 vehicles serviced here and I have never felt uneasy about the work or the costs. Cory is always both professional and knowledgeable about the job being performed.I highly recommend John's and after your visit, you will too!

Wow! Amazingly fast service. I had an appointment, but at many places, there's still a wait. Not here, my car was in and out for an oil change faster than the "quick lube" places. Everyone was so friendly! This is a truly honest family owned auto service shop with experienced mechanics, competitive pricing and a good energy atmosphere. John's was highly recommended by several people and now I understand why. I would give 6 stars if I could! Thank you to John and his amazing team!

Upon being in an accident and having my car repaired at another well known Frankfort area shop, my car broke down from the faulty repairs that were done previously. This time I had my car towed to John's and they looked at my car with a fine tooth comb, suggesting repairs to prevent future issues, as well as diagnosing the faulty parts from the previous repairs. They communicated every step of their findings and repairs with pictures and phone calls. Their prices are reasonable. John's shop has integrity and they are committed to their work and providing ethical services, which is not found at all repair shops. We will continue to take our cars here in the future.Service: Tires

I drive a ways to use this shop because I know they are honest. The gentleman at the service desk is knowledgeable and gives you all the information you need and lets you make the call. They are not pushy and have never tried to "sell" me anything. They take pictures and give you the straight dope. If you sit in the waiting area and listen to how the service representative handles his calls and customers, you will never go anywhere else. It is so refreshing to see good old fashioned honest business. The shop is very clean and organized and that speaks volumes.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are top knotch in my book. Instead of sending me home after not being able to discover the issue with my car, they kept at it until they found the problem and fixed it. You would not get that at a dealership. These are wonderful people who hire wonderful people to work with them. A+ all around!

Had a rear tail light out and drove in to Johns' without service appointment. I was greeted as if an old friend, and within 10 minutes the tail light was fixed at the best price ever.I have had other service at Johns' and have been treated with respect. All service repairs are explained in detail before being done and estimates have been accurate.I am so confident in Johns' service that I have recommended this business to family, friends and co workers.

I've been taking my cars to John's for close to 20 years. Both John, the father, and John, the son, are friendly and always professional. They provide exceptional customer service, going above & beyond when it wasn't strictly necessary. They demonstrate honesty in their dealings with me, including telling me when questioned repairs were not needed. I place my car care wholly in their trust, which they have honored. And, I never had to sacrifice cost for service & integrity; they are extremely competitive. I recommend them wholeheartedly at any opportunity.
