From automotive, to marine, to heavy utility trucks, to the common bicycle, Grove automotive has the ability, talent, and tools to fix any broken, abused, or busted vehicle! The experience and knowledge from Ken, the owner, is greatly valued and comes highly praised for knowing a lot about all different types of motors and mechanisms! Btw, he has also a american ninja warrior, so come on in and you'll see some amazing skills... Under the hood!

I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to find a local shop that is HONEST and fair. There are a couple left in the area, but they impressed me here. They just worked on my other half's Honda and did a great job. To top it off, they took it for a test drive and found another issue they promptly fixed after calling me about it. His mechanic knows his stuff, as does Ken. (Now I wish I had seen a tip jar for the mechanic!) Reasonable rates, and very conscientious. I believe after speaking with Ken that he concentrates on Quality, honesty, and great service. We found our new mechanic! And when you hit your retirement years you NEED someone like this. No hidden costs, no upsales, no unneeded work. We have 3 cars and they all found a new doctor! Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I do not typically leave reviews but I am so happy with the service I received at Grove Auto Repair. I called last week for a quote and Ken had me come in to get a better idea of what the price would be. He was so quick and was able to schedule me in to get my part replaced. While I was there, he looked at a couple of other things that I figured I would have to get replaced. HE WAS SO HONEST!! He told me what I could wait on and what he recommended I get fixed now. I felt so comfortable getting my car fixed and I will recommend others to see him in the future!!

Not enough can be said about the guys over at Grove Auto. I recently brought my car in after my engine seized. Ken took care of me and had me back on the road within days. They do solid quality work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have some work done. Thanks for everything Ken!

This place is awesome, the owner is a very honest man. They work fast, and for the right price. I have taken my jeep here, over the past several years, & and only a few times. They have always done a great job. They order the parts that day, and literally accomplish incredible tasks in a very reasonable amount of time.They are also open to discussion, and great for bouncing questions off of. They helped teach me about the functionality of my engine and then went on to repair the vehicle that day so that i could safely drive cross country to Colorado.The owner is truely a wealth of information.

Ken is amazing! I highly recommend him. He goes beyond what I ask of him telling me what really needs to get done with my car. He s helped find junkyard pieces to make it affordable too.

Ken and the guys at Grove Auto are awesome. They always do above and beyond what I need. The only small local shop with loaner vehicles if needed too! Highly recommend you have them do all your car repairs!

Great personal car repair. The shop is small, but you'll receive mostly one on one service. I use to take my cars to Grove Auto since the early 90's but I moved away from the area. Good people.

Heard about Ken and Grove auto through facebook. A lot of great things were said about Ken. He is probably the nicest and greatest mechanic I've worked with. I've been having an issue with my VW Passat for about a year. My brake lights had been stuck on and had it looked at by previous mechanics to no avail. Turns out it was three faulty parts that had been put in and was a simple fix. I had cost ken a lot of time thinking it was something else since they had been replaced before, which in turn cost me some money. BUT, Ken worked with me and at this point i'm just thrilled that it's fixed. I will be bringing my business here in the future. If you want a great mechanic who's honest, and extremely knowledgeable. Ken is your guy. Can't recommend enough!

I'm a small business owner and my work van was pretty much in need of an emergency brake job, Ken and his right hand man Bob made sure they took care of me immediately! They worked on my vehicle all day and did a complete overhaul on my brakes, they made sure that I would be back on the road the following day. I only lost one day of work due to their understanding of my situation and can't thank them enough!!!

Ken over at Grove Auto Repair in Fox River Grove is great. Very kind and always willing to to work and find time to get you and your vehicle serviced when you need it. Highly reccomend.

This is the most honest and down-to-earth shop I have ever been to. The owner and mechanics go out of their way to advise & educate you on how best to take care of your car. I highly recommend it.

I always bring my car to Grove Auto and rarely leave disappointed. The work always gets done correctly and never have I had the same problem twice after getting my vehicle repaired from Grove Auto. I ve been bringing my 1998 Honda Accord here for over 8 years. I plan to continue bringing my current car and whatever future car comes my way to Grove Auto!

Neighborhood shop! Friendly, honest, kowledgeable, neighborhood guys. Fixed the problem, showed me the problem and there was nothing hidden. Like in some other shops you ask them questions and they give you vague/ rushed answers like everything s a big secret. It was like I was having one of my friends work on my car. I didn t shop around but I guarantee their price was cheaper than anywhere else because there was no Inflated part pricing or inflated man hours.Made my wife comfortable about bringing the car there because Jarrod explained everything to her before he begin repairs. Ken even let her use the shop vehicle for the day so she could bring the kids back and forth from school.Thanks guys!

Recommended by my family and have taken my car in twice. Owner found faulty repair claim by another shop. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Fixed a couple other repairs and cleaned the oil off the engine. Went above and beyond. Found my new mechanic!!

Amazing work at even better prices than the competitors and dealerships in the area! Ken and his employees perform talented craftsmanship into every job they do! Even down to the basic oil change, the Grove Auto performs 100%, every time and I am always satisfied and always leave happy because of Ken's work and current staff! Great job guys, thank you!!! I'll be bringing everyone I know to y'all!

Impressive customer service..its a rarity these days. When my warranty runs out-Ill be going here for all of my vehicle maintenance. It's tough to find an honest car mechanic.. but here's one I'd recommend.

Ken is a miracle worker. Over the years he's helped me out of crisis repair situations more than I care to admit. Ken takes his time and walks you through the repair process step by step offering different options based on your needs. Go see Ken once and you'll never go anywhere else.
