Mike is very communicative to what I needed and what they were going to fix. Very fair price and helpful along the way. My family and I have been going to MD Auto for longer than I have been alive. Mike and Brian are some of the most honest and down to earth people and are always working in your best interest. I trust no one else but them to service and repair my car.I recently had them replace my clutch in my 2012 Mazda 3. Everything was done flawlessly and the car drives better than ever before. I was referred to Mike by my dad. I was in the market for a new mechanic, even more so once I started experiencing some vibrations and odd noises while driving my car. Mike was very polite and helpful when I called to make an appointment. He was able to get me in within a couple of days. After determining that the fluid in the differentials was a possible cause for the noises and sensations I d been feeling, Mike took the time to explain the process of why this was happening and even showed me the old fluid they drained. We discussed other possible solutions if the noise and shaking came back. I will definitely be returning to MD Auto Solutions for all my vehicle needs. Mike and Brian at MD Auto are my go to mechanics for all of my vehicles. They are honest and always keep my best interests at heart. I contacted Mike after my 16 year old daughter's car had a very scary accelerator problem. I was able to drop off the car that evening and it was looked at the next day as promised. They checked the car for codes and recalls. They serviced the car for us and thoroughly tested the vehicle. Very reasonable prices too. Top notch service!! We couldn't have been happier!! I highly recommend MD Auto Solutions!

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. I met Mike and Brian at the shop when they moved in. You see the location did house our firmer mechanic. After having a few things done I really put my trust into MD Auto Solutions. Recently I had.an idle issue. We found out that I needed a tune up. Mike diagnosed the issue. We had to get new plus and ignition coil packs. My Jeep has not run this good and a long time. These guys are AWESOME!

Took my car to a local dealership for a free multi-point inspection and was told that I needed several parts replaced, total cost $2,000. Decided to get a second opinion, so I took it to Mike at MD. He told me that only one of the parts that the dealer said needed to be replaced, actually needed replacement. Total cost $400. I've taken my cars to Mike since they originally opened as Christoph's and have found them to be the most honest and fairly priced shop anywhere around. Highly recommend!!

I brought my 2003 Honda Civic to Christoph's, due to my engine light coming on, and to validate other repairs that were suggested, when I had an oil change, at the Honda dealer. My vehicle was in the shop for a few days, due to the many reparations that needed to be made. Since I only have one vehicle, the staff gave me a ride home, and back, which was very much appreciated. While the vehicle was being fixed, I was updated by phone, on a regular basis, and given the final cost of the repairs. As soon as I drove the repaired vehicle, I noticed a huge difference in acceleration, maneuverability, and overall handling. I was very pleased by the final cost, and would highly recommend Cristoph's, due to there honesty, professionalism, and friendly staff.

Unbelievable service. Beat dealership prices by $400. Needed new roters and brake pads for all wheels. Brought the car in at 10am was done by 3pm that day. Kind and friendly service. Mechanic actually brought me into the garage and showed me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. The most honest mechanics I have ever met! thank you Christoph's automotive for a great experience and great service! Definitely a return customer for life

I have a 09 Ford F250 that needed a new engine installed after only 63,000 miles. Since the truck was out of warranty, Ford would not cover the cost for the new engine and their price to install it was super expensive. Since I have being going to Christoph's for the last 2 years and receiving great service I decided to let them replace the engine for me. They did a great job, saved us some money and got the truck back to us in record time. I would highly recommend Christoph's Automotive from oil changes to any major car repairs. They're honest and you get great service.

Mike and the previous owner Daryl have serviced my Acura for 15 years. They have always been reasonable, honest and attentive regarding the issues with my cars. I just took my Toyota minivan in for new brakes and I received the same great service and attention I have come to expect from them. Thanks, Mike. And keep up the good work!Chris

Mike is the best. Went to his shop when he was in Libertyville and now going back to him in Fox Lake/ Ingleside. Honest, integrity and reasonable. I have loved bringing my Honda here for years for check ups and extensive work, and I have never had a better experience. I would recommend anyone interested to create and maintain a relationship with great mechanics to visit MD Auto for your automotive needs! Intelligent, skilled, and experienced on many vehicle makes. Mike and Brian will ensure your vehicle runs dependably - they'll treat it like their own. They've kept two of ours going quite a while, economically - 240K and 340K! You'll never feel that you paid more than the right amount, instead be glad for the value of their service. Two of the most honest individuals I've met, and I've been around a few decades.

I found Christophs based on the recommendation of the Jiffy Lube manager who has his car serviced there. I find Mike, who runs it, very conscientious and reliable. He does not have you do repair that is not needed. After a disaster experience with the service department of the Ford dealer in Highland Park, I know the work here on the car is done as it should. He first checks out the car thoroughly and let's you know what is needed to do and what can wait. Kari, who is the receptionist is very efficient in letting me know the details. Our family takes all our car there now.

I've recently rediscover MD Auto Solutions, after severals years of going to other larger auto repair shops and found the service lagging and the prices increasing. I decided to give MD Auto a chance and see if I could get the level of service that I wanted at reasonable price, I was not disappointed but pleasantly surprised. They have always been kind, patient and quick to repair my car . Mike & Brian take the time to answere my questions and I trust them explicitly to work on my vehicles. I had a good amount of work conducted on my 2005 Altima. I ask for a complete review of the car. They produced a checklist with everything that was necessary to be fixed and showed me on the car why. When the work was done the showed me the old parts. Also, the gal responsible for ordering the parts did a great job shopping around for manufacturer parts for the best price. Since the repairs my car rides like brand new and is fast as heck. I highly recommend Christoph's because in this day and age it's hard to find a shop with quality mechanics that you can trust and that's exactly what you will receive from Christoph's Automotive.

We have had Mike work on 2 of our vehicles. On my truck he gave me a few options which I liked. The work was done quickly and the truck runs great. I highly recommend this shop. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. What more could you ask for in a mechanic..

Definitely the best shop I've taken my vehicles for repair and maintenance. Besides a mini van, I own a very large GMC truck (K3500) that other shops don't really want to work on. The guys at Christoph's Automotive are always willing to work on my truck and do an excellent job. I've been with them for many years and don't plan on changing. Thanks a lot!

I would highly recommend MD Auto to anyone. These guys are not only good at their craft, but they are genuinely nice people that will go above and beyond to get your problem solved and your car back on the road. I have been a customer of Christoph's for about five years, after it was recommended to me by friends. I have brought our 2005 CRV and (more recently) our 2012 Pilot to them continuously for this time. Their shop is excellent. Mike is earnest, considerate and honest. They do the job you expect, in a reasonable price range, in the time you expect. They point out things they think might need work, but are careful to say whether it is critical to do now or not. I have had plenty of experiences with them where they have spent additional time on my vehicle without charge or gone out of their way for me. A few years ago, a number of dashboard lights on my CRV came up on July 3rd, literally the day before we were about to drive to NYC and back. Freaked out, I immediately brought it to Mike. Thankfully for me, they were actually not busy that day. He and his coworker literally spent two hours going through all my codes and went above and beyond to diagnose and research everything that could have been at issue. They did not find anything wrong with my CRV (and, to prove them out, we made it to NYC and back safely), and did not charge me anything at all. Now, I don't expect that generosity all the time (after all, he needs to run a business), but is a great example of his earnestness and honesty. I bring our cars in to Christoph's for all our regular maintenance, and also before our big road trips for a checkup. I totally recommend Christoph's (especially for Hondas!).

I've been going to Christoph's Automotive for over 15 years. Darrell opened a shop with a high customer focus and quality care that resulted in lifelong customers. When Mike took the shop over a few years ago it was like he was cut out of the same cloth in that he treats a customer's car with the same care as if his own. It's nice to have a mechanic you know you can trust.

My Volkswagen Passat's rear brakes had been making some concerning noises for a few months, and I finally decided to bring it in to get it checked out. The guys at MD Auto were extremely nice---they showed me exactly why my car was making the noises and explained what needed to be done to fix the issue. Melissa kept me updated every step of the way via phone, and even stayed a little late to allow me to pick it up after I got off from work! I will be coming back for sure.

I have always been disappointed in repair shops. People talked down to me (being female) and I always felt like I was being swindled or conned into repairs I didn't need. This is not true AT ALL with Mike at MD (formerly Christoph's). I have always been treated respectfully and fairly by the whole staff,and I have never felt that the repairs being suggested, beyond what I might have come for that day, were not needed. The prices are fair and the turn around has always been good. I have and will continue to recommend this shop to others!

I was stranded while out of town and Mike from Christoph's came to the rescue. In no time at all he diagnosed and fixed my problem for a very reasonable price. Nobody wants to pay the kind of prices it takes to keep a car on the road, but I was floored with how much money he was able to save me with his creative solution. He took a very expensive problem and brought it down to less than 1/4 the price that a dealership would demand. I've got a '98 Oldsmobile Aurora, and anybody who's familiar with that car can attest to how frustrating and difficult they can be to service. For these guys? It was no problem. I'd highly recommend giving them a shot.

I brought my Honda Odyssey to Mike a few years back. He has always taken good care of my van and me. He does excellent work, thoroughly explains everything and stands behind his work. I will be bringing my Prius C to him in the future. Thanks Mike.
