Couldn't have asked for a better place to get audio work done on my F150. I got an amp and sub installed and am very pleased with the work. I will for sure be bringing all my other audio projects to these guys... 10/10 would recommend

Dan and the team went above and beyond to help us out when we lost the keys to our car. Things got tricky, due to a non-standard security system having been installed previously. Dan reached made the extra effort to troubleshoot and reach out to others for the support needed to get our car running again. Thank's to Dan and Audiosmith for saving the day!!

I was dreading another winter of having to wrap myself in a blanket to go outside at 5am to warm up my truck... Sooo with that being said, Dan was able to set me up with a remote start on my Tahoe. I dropped it off, and it was done within a few hours. Quick and easy. Definitely suggest them if you're in the same boat as I was!

Called on for a quote and got it installed the same week . Great work other than the head unit coming with a small scratch , not a big issue .UpdateAfter taking it in and Bill reviewing the unit , was told that the head unit was defective and got a replacement one . Great Audio Shop and would recommend towards anyone looking to upgrade there Car Audio system. Great Service these guys won t disappoint thank you for the great service.

I came to Audiosmith to have the center touch screen display replaced in my car. I had already purchased a replacement and tried to install it myself but lacked the skills to do so. I called them and they told me to bring it in so they could take a look at it. First visit there a young guy took a look at what I had told me they could install it but they didn't have time the same day so I'd have to make an appointment, no problem appointment made. My second visit there I speak to a different young guy and they tell me what I had purchased they normally refuse installation for because they are challenging for some reason but they would see what they could do. After attempting to install it I was told that I was missing a couple of cable adapters and that they could order them for me (very expensive cable adapters mind you, $250 between the two of them). I then had to make another appointment so they could wait for the parts to get in. Third visit, the cables are in, should be good to go right? The owner I believe worked on my car this time and seemed to be having quite a bit of trouble getting everything working correctly. After an hour or so I was told that everything was hooked up and working except for the radio which would cut out every five-ish seconds and the back up camera, which I'd need yet another cable adapter for. This cable was easy enough for me to install on my own so I ended up ordering that independently but then paid these guys $500 for the labor and parts and was told if anything gives me trouble to give them another call. The next day my audio stops working completely. I figured, I'll wait for the cable to come in, put that in and see what happens. Cable arrives, I install it, backup camera still doesn't work and the audio is pretty much dead. I call them and told them what was going on and was asked "so what do you want us to do". I bring my car in yet again and the original guy I spoke to on my first visit inspects my car. He tells me that my factory amp is dying and I need to buy a new one. Mind you I had no issues with the amp before my time here. I ask him to do some research for me on a replacement and give me a call with a price because they were too busy to do anything else that day. It's been over two weeks and still no call. I'll be going somewhere else that is hopefully more competent and organized.

Grade A service. Knowledgeable staff. Had a remote start installed over 5 years ago, great pricing. Needed an upgrade for an outdated 3g antenna and they were more than happy to help with that. Highly recommend Audiosmith!

Very pleased with Daniel and Dylon's professionalism, patience, knowledge, and committment to craft. I live on the border of Lake & McHenry, and it's a challenge to find places to take my car for aftermarket electrical needs. I'm blue collar. I don't spend a lot on my car unless needed. But, I did upgrade my headlights to LEDs from HIDs because the factory came with hallogens. I upgraded my stereo. And am looking to do a remote start, as well as a few extra things. I don't spend a lot of money, yet I feel super confident knowing that the owner (I apologize for forgetting his name, but he is very kind a knows the value of good customer service) created a good culture as demonstrated by Daniel and Dylon. Very friendly. Very professional. Competitively priced. Good service. I would reccoment to anyone including friends and family.

I made an appointment to have my car audio hooked up and he didn't do it and only installed 1 speaker and then said he didn't care to do what he scheduled to be done cause he can make money doing other things instead of working on my car which he agreed to do. And then said he gave me a good price on hooking up one speaker. Worst place ever. DONT GO HERE! It's like going in for a colonoscopy and he gave me a vasectomy but he gave me a discount on it so it's alright. Ugh no worst place I've ever been to

Audiosmith is an awesome custom audio and electronic shop. Daniel and the crew were great to work with. Daniel provided excellent support and guidance while installing an audio system in my 2015 Dodge Ram. We installed a new head unit, replaced all stock speakers, and added JL Audio amps and subs as well. Sounds absolutely wonderful. I would not hesitate to visit this Team again, and highly recommend their service.

Had a complex issue replacing my head unit in my 1998 Lexus LS400. Audiosmith took it and had the unit replaced and upgraded within a few days. Super happy with the service and the end result! Will definitely be using them again for future projects.

Amazing guys here, great service. Brought my GTI in to get a 12 sub installed along with the amp and wiring and they knocked it out super quick, and for a very good price for the quality of work you get. A few days later I ripped the wires off the sub and they were kind enough to squeeze me in at the end of the day and get it fixed asap. Overall a great experience with them, definitely recommend!

Had a radio installed on my truck and had to call again and they didn't even ask me if I wanted the aftermarket adapter for the antenna, and for some reason, the clock wipes every time the truck shuts off but still has battery power. Felt the job was unfinished. Go somewhere else

I Drove Out Here Today to AudioSmith in Fox Lake Il. From Lake Geneva Wi. I spoke with Daniel told him the problem i was having with my antenna & the switch on my 1978 Chevy Camaro & He fixed it in a matter of minutes Everything works great now, I would definitely recommend this place They r a great custom electronic service & audio shop and i will be back after the 4th to have speakers installed.

Bill is definitely a class act! I remember when he had his shop on route 137, where I visited, many many times! He was always there for me and helped me, whenever he could! If you have a stereo need, look no further than Audiosmith! They can fix, build, and install anything that you need, without worries! I do wish, and wish I could get my hands on one of those awesome 12" base boxes from back in the day! If you have never heard one of these awesome boxes, you are truly missing out!

I took my "new to me" hyundai tuscon in to have the head unit updated and have an old sub I've had in my other car for years hooked up to this one. Dan helped me get the best head unit with touch screen (which makes my 06 purchase seem like it was brand new!) and helped get the sub and Amp all put together. I'm so jazzed to have my car up and working with a new and improved sound system thanks to Audiosmith!!

I am very please with their work. I will be frank- I have no knowledge of how boat audio systems work but they were very honest about helping me about what I needed with no upselling at all- they did an amazing dual battery switch/ amp/ 10 sub install on my boat and now it sounds amazing- you won t be disappointed with Audiosmith at all- I definitely will be going back to them in the future-

Took my ford ranger here about a year ago, guy was really nice. I spent around $900 to have an amp, Subwoofer and new radio put in. A couple weeks after it going good it keeps randomly shutting off and turning back on, I would wiggle with the wiring to make it come back in before it shut off again. It has been doing this ever since those first 2 weeks passed. I reached out multiple times to see if they could fix it and was ignored every time. If you spend $900 you would expect a quality job and for the company to help you when you reach out, especially if you have been ignored for an entire year.

I had them replace a class C rv radio/navigation system with a backup camera. The new one is amazing! I m not exactly tech savvy so they helped me set all the features up and explained them. So when I left I had a good handle on how to actually use it. The work was done on time and the price was reasonable and well worth it. I will go back for other things in the future as well as recommend their services to others.

Audiosmith does an outstanding job, I had horrible headlights in my Subaru and Dan over at Audiosmith was able to install LED headlights and they are AWESOME! They light up the road at night, it was an amazing decision to go to them. I trust their work and I highly recommend them.

I stopped by audiosmith and explained to Daniel I was having a problem with my remote start that was installed at another place. he went under the dash and fixed the problem. and when I went to pay him he said "no charge'' just pay it forward! he's a nice honest guy! I will bring my business here from now on.

Some folk judge a company based on everything going smooth. I tend to judge a company both by when things go smoothly and also when issues arrive. Are they handled quickly? Was there kindness involved or where they defensive and abrupt.Bill at Audiosmith takes great pride in his work. Audiosmith is both skilled, prideful and customer focused. I had a an issue and I was concerned about resolving it. I was gleeful that Bill handled my concern with patience and understanding.I am a happy customer and pleased that I can receive excellent service locally.I look forward to continuing my relationship with Audiosmith.
