They were very professional and got me out quick once they started to work on my tires. My only let down was that I had to wait almost 30 minutes prior to someone helping me at the desk.

To be fair, for the low price and ease of making appointments, it s worth the mediocre service mentioned in many of the reviews, and the service I received wasn t even that bad! Sure, they seemed understaffed, but with the number of customers they had, it was to be expected. There was one particular staff, young, with glasses, that was particularly friendly, though I didn t have the chance to take his name. And Walmart has the advantage of an easy-to-use app and text alert system so you can easily check your appointment and service status. Overall, yes you may run into some problems mentioned in the comments (I have had my appointment canceled because they were out of stock before), but it s nothing out of the ordinary, and they communicated well. At the end of the day you are going to get taken care of if you re willing to save some money by sacrificing a little service.

Called facility to see if tires was available, got price .found out my sister was in the store shopping had her go to the tire department, to confirm availability, process went perfect good job. Definitely will buy from them again.

Really really really bad service . People really slow !!! I was there at 1:00pm - 5:40 just to change the front tires of my car . They send me a message Supposedly at 2:30 telling me that my car was done. They lied to me the car was with the same tires . And then they started working on my car like at 3:20 . Don't waste your time unless you have all the time of the world .

been sitting on hold for 20 minutes after trying to get someone on the phone the last week to ask about making appointments. based off the reviews, i wouldn't dare bring my vehicle here. the location and employees seem to lack knowledge and customer service skills.

I was pleasantly surprised with the staff here. They are very professional, care about their customers and respectful. I brought my car in for a new set of tire installation, and was checked in just before their cut off for vehicles.The staff stayed late, and took care of my car which I really appreciated. I was dressing then telling me that they couldn t full fill my service, but no they made sure my car was done. I was driving on a spare donut, and really needed a new set just to get home safely, and they didn t disappoint.5 stars, and I highly recommend them to everyone. I am dropping Pep Boys as my go to spot, and I will be coming here instead for future oil changes and tire rotations.They earned my trust, and I could also shop while I wait. Unlike Pep Boys, they actually have Mechanics that show up to work on time and provide great customer service.

I would give negative 5 stars if it were allowed.Ignore at your own risk!!Consider going somewhere else for your service! They will return your car in a worst condition and delay on helping with the matter. The quality of employees reflects the moment you walk in. In this case judge the book by its cover. Walmart is not meant for auto service. I forget...its Walmart!!

Workers were nice and helpful. Wait time was longer than expected. I don't know if this department needed more staff but it could've gotten a lot quicker with more people helping. I usually go to one of these with an anticipation that the actual service for the car will take about an hour or two since there may be people in line. But this was an experience.... I've gone 2 more separate time after previous review. It has definitely improved. They added a text message service to alert when ready to pick up. Staff is attentive. Prices for service are no longer displayed.Just went again recently. They forgot to send me a text. I don't think they called my name either. It was done when I came back from shopping and they didn't tell me. I waited 1.5 hours. Now you have to take care of your sticker which in previous years they didn't care about.

workers were friendly but not knowledgable of the services provided. i ultimately came here for the price but the disconnect between the service and communicating it with the customer is subpar.

Good value and you get what you pay for. Everyone was helpful, but clearly frustrated with the lack of enough people to handle the work. I got 2 new Goodyear p235 tires replaced, that Costco does not stock, for less than $240. Came in at 7am when they open but be prepared to wait a few hours if the mechanics don t show up ! Small price to pay

I arrived @ the store too late to have my car serviced. The tech checked my battery, but asked me nicely to come back the next day. I agreed & came back the next day. The tech (John?) that interacted w/me was terrible & rude. He tells me my battery was not the right battery for my car, he couldn't touch it because they didn't install it. I would have to take the battery out myself before they could test it. That wasn't what I wanted to hear but OK. His customer service skills are severely lacking. I really hope he isn't like that w/other customers, because u are surely going to lose more customers besides me. I'm not recommending this location or coming back to ur automotive center.

Horrible experience. Ordered my tires to be delivered there almost 2 weeks ago. Made appointment for the tires to be placed on my vehicle. I was 15 minutes early for my appointment and was not shocked I would need to wait for my appointment time. No biggie. But after 2.5 hours of waiting for the text that they said they send when the start on the tires, I went to see what was going on. Only to wait in line for 30 minutes before a single person came to ask the 12 of us in line what they could help with. So when I finally was asked what I needed, I politely asked for my keys and my tires and left. And they were not installed but in my trunk. Worst service ever. Wish I would have read reviews before I went there. So basically I wasted 3 hours at walmart and left without my tires installed. They need to restructure that department and get new management.Service: Tires

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered four tires to be installed the same day. I was so excited that this could be done so quickly and for a great price. Money was out of my account as soon as I placed the order. ....30minutes before my appointment time, I got an email saying they canceled the appointment. I tried to reschedule, but the website wouldn't let me. I tried to call to figure out what was going on, and no one answered the phone. Finally, I just went it to see if I could find someone....only to find out that 1) they were closed for the day because of some malfunction, 2) they had NO record of my order, 3) they didn't have the tires I PAID for and wouldn't get them in for at least TWO weeks!I had to call the website customer service twice before I got someone who could help me in the slightest and cancel my order.Here's the thing. Now I have to wait 5-7 days for the money to go back into my account....to then find another place to get new tires. So now I have no car for at least a week and can't go in to work.I am BEYOND frustrated.

Very displeased with lack of service. 2 other customers and myself waited 30 minutes after the auto shop opened just for the employees to be late and not ready to 1 hour and a half after opening. The employees proceeded to gossip and complain about customers being there already when they are behind, very unprofessional. 3 customers not serviced alreadyService: Oil change

I called to ask how much it cost to get a tire plugged. Said good morning the person did not even greet me back. Then I asked how much will it cost. They said they didn't know. I said "can you find out?" Then they told me it was just $18. I asked them was the turnaround time: quick or long? They said more or less. (What?) The person's tone and attitude was very cold short and uncaring. They definitely didn't want to be there and they came off as if I was annoying them. If this is how you start off; I don't want to do the rest with you.

Exactly as you would expect. I called ahead and took time off work. Products did not exist when I arrived. I had the name of the employee who assured me the tires were there and they simply said that she did not work there anymore. I spoke to her only two days prior.

DO NOT GO HERE. Literally the worst car service I ve ever had. It took them almost 3 hours just to replace my car battery. That s it! Just a car battery, shouldn t take that long. They have no sense of urgency and don t care about giving you a positive customer experience. The desk crew and car crew were also sending me back and forth to each other about whether or not I was supposed to get the battery myself. The customer should not be the one figuring out what needs to be done. The workers are!Service: Battery

Kept hanging up on my calls when trying to schedule an oil change??? Called back twice more, then got transferred to a different apartment where I got hung up on again!!! Terrible customer service, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

I just wanted to take the time to thank Asia and team at the Walmart in Forest Park on Roosevelt and des plaines. Asia is an outstanding customer service agent. She made sure that my car was serviced, checked the tire size for me, greet me with a smile and help others as well. I truly appreciate her outstanding attention to detail. She works in the Auto Service section of Walmart. Please relay this message. Also the mechanics who worked on my car did a stellar job and their professionalism was outstanding. I had an oil change and new tire installation (all four tires) in less than an hour it seems. Asia and the team of mechanics who worked with her were outstanding!!! They dont answer the phone in that department, they have so many different policies far as taking care of your vehicle to avoid following up on your warranty. They give you all kind of run around why they cant removing the tires claiming the bolts are swollen then go somewhere else they take them right off. What is the point of having a warranty on your tires if they give you many reasons why they can help you after you spent your money

Roz was very professional, in the auto center the guys were very helpful. All my air pressure was different 34,35,37,37. I went right back to correct it. They corrected it with no problem. I really don't like this store overall but the auto center gets a 5 star.

Customer service is an issue here. The cashiers/attendants are slow at appointing and servicing you. Their communication skills are poor and sloppy. The attendent literally has me waiting on her to properly attend me while she makes small talk with others nearby in front of me. Very unprofessional location! I only came to this location due to being the closest location with an auto center and I had purchased warranty. I came in for a flat tire repair and it took someone over an hour just to take the tire to the shop. It was not busy at all with one car getting serviced when I checked back in an hour later.
