Hands down the best grocery store in the south suburbs. The store is not only huge but very well organized. They pretty much have everything you can think about purchasing all in one store. I've never seen a store so well organized. Anything you're looking for can be searched online or on the app and it tells your exactly what department and isle the item is. I never have any issues. They also have not 1, not 2 but 3 different self check out locations which all have at least 10 check out stations. It's at least 25-30 self check out stations as well as around 18 check out stations with real employees. Those are usually a little packed but if you know how to checkout yourself. You can go grocery shopping and be out the store within 15 minutes lol. This store has me in a headlock. Just take all my money

Went into the store to purchase 3 items which I had the funds for. The register for what ever reason would only ring up two, I told the girl at the register to cancel it, which she didn't. Called back later that day to discuss was told to wait 3 to 5 days, called on the 5th day, was told to wait 5 to 7 days, I then told the woman where not going to do that, what I need for you to do I check the inventory. She put me on hold never to return. Unprofessionalism at it's finest, and top of taking much need food away from me. I'll never do business at your store again.

Nice clean store. Most of the employees are super nice. But a few of those cashiers not so much. One young lady tossed my items around as if I interrupted her day by choosing her lane. I often avoid self check out in attempts to keep someone employed. I may have to rethink this.

Best reward program I ve signed up for!Rewards: It s free to sign up, I ve been a reward member since 2022, and all the stores I ve signed up for rewards, I must say, Meijers is beneficial! It s not hard at all to rack up points especially if you utilize the meijers brand or specials, as seen in my video. My best reward was for $0.50/gallon of gas! You know how much gas is?? ESPECIALLY premium!Checkout: Now, when it comes down to the checkout, it s giving wal-mart, if you get my drift. I tend to utilize the self-check out. It drives me batty when one side of the self-checkout (near the Veterinarian Clinic) is completely closed. I m sure there is a rhyme to the reason but whew chile, you do NOT want to be there to witness the madness.Pharmacy: Always had an excellent experience! I try to encourage all my friends/family to get their prescriptions filled here as opposed to the usual, cvs/walgreens. Download the goodrx, very beneficial when needing to get the lowest price when you don t have insurance.Security: it would be really nice to have more lighting in the parking lot at night. Like most Meijers, usually fine, but also always seem to be out of 1 of the main items I get bi-weekly that is a common well stocked item in the past at least. Switched here since the pandemic and RX supply chain issues, which hasn't been much of an issue here at all vs Walgreens, though the common generics seem to be of lower quality then say Teva and other Walgreens normally carries vs the sort of newish India FDA approved brands and China suppliers used to go around the FDA regulations and use different chemical processes to make the active ingredients cheaper.Also know that the FDA rules state a variance in efficacy of 5% is allowed in generics and on my blood pressure one I noticed w over 5 generics from CVS to mom and pop places they all didn't work except 1, that was mixed w 3 brands they failed to mention at CVS at the time and I only noticed cuz the 1 that worked wo having to take multiple many days was the one I had the most left of and tried after a cpl weeks when I noticed and the other 2 were down to 2 left when I realized that there were 3 mixed in the 90 day and called the Dr. for a new rx to be sent to Walgreens, which was a much higher cash/good rx price, that it wasn't the one that didn't cause noticable changes in heart rate and BP when taken, which it wasn't and they were the same that Walgreens uses, though normally CVS and WAG both carry the same generics and the rest which are usually cheaper carry the newish (2013) generic suppliers, but many you can normally ask for the specific generic brand and they'll order it especially on maintenance meds.

Recently visited the brand new Meijer store, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The modern design and layout make for a pleasant shopping experience. The aisles are well-organized, and the variety of products is impressive. The fresh produce section is particularly noteworthy, offering a vibrant selection. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. If you're in the area, this new Meijer is worth a visit for a top-notch shopping experience.

I rarely post anything positive about this store because i had negative experiences at the gas station. However i saw that they moved one of their cashioers from the main store over there to help. Normally many people at the gas station were rude and hard to deal with. But his name is Jonathan he has a big beard and is loud he is so welcoming and friendly and made my day and made me and others keep coming back to the gas station i hope they keep him there instead of the main store.

I did not know Meijer had a huge shopping center. I was able to get a great selection of groceries. I loved the multicultural environment as well

I shop here a lot because I want to support my local businesses but your employees need more training in customer service. Hiding behind policies while being rude.

I was shopping at the store twice this past week, and both times were a little bit disappointing. Both times at this store, not one employee ever acknowledged me or asked if I need any assistance looking for items. It's important to me that store personnel pay attention to customers entering and leaving the store. It's more of a safety issue for me. Having store personnel connecting with you makes one feel safe shopping there and important too!

I used to have problems with the customer service at the meijer express gas station in flossmoor. However recently this new employee they have he has a big beard loud and is super friendly and engaging he works nights there he really has made an impact on me and others . He said however he is going back to the main store and that he was only filling in until they hire more workers. I hope Meijer keeps him there he is such a great asset and keeps people happy

I used to frequent this store when it first opened and then the years after that.Ever since around 2021 I started to see quality go down and so did variety. I will likely not shop here as my primary store.- hard to find Distilled water / Purified gallon water (for cpap/coffee machines) they always have spring water that is rarely used - EXPIRED AND MOLDY BREAD THIS IS RIDICULOUS I HAVE VERY OFTEN SEEN EXPIRED FOOD AT THIS Flossmoor MEIJER. Outrageous and dangerous. My visit was feb 10th- the store usually has good stock of home good items but limited in food- I will say the coupons and Mperks are great and make me want to come back but if I can t get simple water and bread then it s no use.

I like the store but it's huge. It was my first time visiting. It's neat and clean and very well lit. I found what I was looking for. The parking lot is huge and I had no problem parking.

2019Big and bright grocery store. Prices are a bit high on some items, and comparable on others. 89cent candy bars are great when I need that chocolate fix. Well, candy bar prices have gone up, so has many other items.2020Pay close attention to the prices you are charged at register, compared to the prices listed on shelves. They are not always the same. Some pandemic gouging is going on here.Overall, I do like the store, but self check-out is terrible because far too many registers are often down.5/20222nd Amendment Right has been taken away here. Criminals now have advantages.03/2024Don't ever trust when the package says "Washed" especially "Triple Washed."

This place is hugh. Very well stocked. Love the quality of their meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, prices aren't outrageous. Store isn't jam packed crowded like Sam's. Most liked that they hire mentally & physically challenged individuals who are extremely kind, and accommodating. Very Pleased with my shopping experience . They would do well to print a directory of the store along with the sale paper. Too much walking back and forth searching for items. That place is gynormous.

Terrible store! Store is dirty and shelves are empty! If you can even find an employee they are rude and unprofessional. Nice police lights all over the parking lot! Not even safe to shop there! Do not waste your time or money at Meijer!!!

They were very well stocked and didn't know they sold small aquarium fish. The produce section has a great variety of fresh vegetables and fresh herbs .

I love this new locations. It's clean, spacious, and the selection is great! And they are always ahead of the game when it comes to healthy snacks and alternatives. You'll find a large selection of gluten free foods, high protein foods (think pasta, cookies, pancake mix, halo top ice cream), low carb alternatives (cauliflower rice, etc). I used to have to travel to several stores to get these kinds of foods, now there all in one really convenient location!

The meat from the butcher does not have a very long expiration dates, ended up freezing all of the meat I bought because they would expire 2-4 days after a bought it.Walts has some of the same meat with expectation dates a week or two in the futureUpdate Aug 14, 2023Got veggies that were supposed to expire in 3 days on the 17th, but they stink and are very slimy .

I was tryly disappointed there were no assisted checkout lanes open. We had just left Walmart because of that. When I shop at a grocery store, I should not have to shop, do the work of a cashier and bagger, then pay. Where is my customer discount?

I have been shopping here since the store opened.My last visit was very disappointing. There are signs on both entrances that state that masks are required inside the store. Why are shoppers allowed in the store without masks? I went to one of the greeters and pointed out the person and was told, "she comes in here all of the time." Well I doubt that I'll be shopping here all of the time. This is certainly not the way to keep customers safe.

I bought jumbo eggs from Meijer, and I had 8 yolks, and 5 eggs. I had cracked three double-yolk eggs in a row. This may be a coincidence, but I m going to stick with buying Amish eggs.
