Great service and coordination between me and my insurance company. Very good at communicating any issues that affected the timeliness of repair completion like availability of parts.Will definitely use this company for future repairs.

Always professional and they do a excellent job. Beware of this business! This family owned business is a scam and fraud. They charge $600 for a 1/4 mile tow. Employee Nathan was very rude and unprofessional. Acted like a maniac. He wanted cash only and he refused to release my vehicle unless I paid for his parking lot. Nathan acted ignorant and hostile. Do not patronize this place.

Beware of this business! Do not patronize Walter's auto body @117 Ashland Ave in Fairview Hts IL. They charged me $750 for 3 days storage and 1/4 mile tow. And when I called several times and questioned the price, Nathan acted like a crazed, homicidal maniac. He was very irate and intimidating because I kept questioning the exorbitant amount. He said cash only even though there was a sign on the door that said credit cards accepted. This unscrupulous and unsavory business should be reported to the Attorney General for unfair business practice and the IRS for demanding cash only. I had to call the police twice and filed 2 police reports to get my vehicle from Nathan. Nathan was holding my vehicle hostage for additional payment above the $750 he charged. He decided to release my car once the cops got involved. Because he knew he was breaking the law. This rip-off shop deserves negative stars for its bad treatment and the overcharging of customers just because they can.

I do NOT recommend this shop they are very bad at getting you updates my insurance claim was from back in February of 2023 and they have yet to fix my truck they say they put new parts on my truck and they didn't NOT

I have gone to Walters for the past 25 years. I highly recommend them. My truck needed repair and repainting. I then had non stock stripes put on. Excellent work! I also used them for sporty additions on another vehicle. Super service! Another suv needed some repair, there was no question as to where to take it. They can do it ALL at a reasonable price and always on time. Terry is very knowledgeable and has excellent help. Walters Auto Body will always get my business!

When my wife backed in to the garage door with our lease, Walter's came highly recommended by multiple sources. I was delighted with the outcome. Staff was very professional and courteous.One of the things I liked most was the communication about what was going on with the car. I want to say, of the four working days they had my car, I received a call every day. High humidity and a delay because of a damaged replacement part extended the amount of time for the repair, so the extra communication made the extra time pass more smoothly.

Walter's had my car almost a month. My rental insurance was about to expire. Nathan at Walter's said he would take care of the extra of the rental charges.. the total rental charge was $550.00+. Walter's only paid $$340.0. I'm out over $200.00. I expected them to pick up the total expense as Nathan PROMISED he would. I asked to talk to Nathan, he was out of the office and as of today I still haven't heard from him.BEWARE OF OF PROMISES GIVEN BUT NEVER DELIVERED. Nathan is not a man of his word. I will not use Walter's again and I would not recommend him to anyone.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

By far the best automotive experience I ve been through. Phil was extremely professional and provided great quality of customer service to myself and my vehicle. Price was also reasonable!!! I ll definitely be recommending then to friends and family.

Had a serious autobody repair that took about a month. Phil kept me posted and repaired everything to my expectations. No surprises, competent and friendly throughout the lengthy process of dealing with me and insurance. Keep up the great work!

I went by Walters after my sunroof had been damaged. The owner there was so kind, understanding, and trustworthy. They were able to assist this out of towner get my family home safe and sound. My family in the area thought so got that they said they will definitely be using Walters.

This was an easy 5 star rating from me as I am grateful for the work they ve done. I went to them after calling 8 other autubodies that wouldn t install my window in my Prius. They comforted me with their knowledge of working on prius s specifically. They were local and also gave me an incredible deal for the labor time they put in. My car was ready in 5-6 hrs with a same day drop off, that s how you know they know what they re doing! Thanks Walters!

Phil was amazing and he communicates very well and is the reason why i had no problems at all. He was very detailed in everything that was going on. This place is also A LOT cheaper than i think any repair shop in Belleville or around that area. My car looks great and i have no issues with my car at all and im really happy about it. One thing i do have an issue with is that all my quarters are gone in my coin holder part in my car. My girlfriend even noticed it without me saying anything and that says a lot. Im not accusing anyone i would just say keep an eye on who is working on cars. Thank you guys

I came to this wonderful place with hopes of getting my beautiful car back. I walked in it red paint on my silver car and now You can not tell my car had a different coloron it. I drove away extra happy. Please come here if you ever need assistance with your car. You would not be disappointed.

Completely unprofessional. Do NOT recommend.I had work previously done to my car at Walter's Auto Body. They did an acceptable job of repairing the damage, but the job was incomplete and took much longer then they had agreed. This should have been a warning to me.Along with many others in this area, I was struck with hail damage. I took my car to them the beginning of May as a returning customer (who had also sent business to them). They told me I'd be in the last week of May. That was lie #1. When I returned the last week of May they had lost my paperwork. We did another inspection and I was officially scheduled for June 18th. That was lie #2. On June 18th they told me they were too busy and that I could come back on July 16th.I asked them what was going to happen on July 16th? They told me that "we will work on your car", to which I replied "you told me that about June 18th, how can I trust you?" No response.The work I had done was satisfactory but incomplete. They punctured one of my tires with a screw and had to use a plug on it. They also failed to fix a front blinker and driving light. Shortly after the "repair" the other front blinker went out. And now they have lied to me twice about scheduling.Do NOT recommend them.

I had the best customer service experience with Walters Body shop in Fairview Heights. They made sure that I had the best experience possible even when the insurance company that paid for the repairs tried to be funny along the line.

I went to drop my car off for some body work. When I entered the building, the owner made derogatory comments to my partner. I am very displeased with their service and they made my partner and I extremely uncomfortable. I would never recommend going there for any type of car maintenance or body work.
