Eddy is very professional and a great help through the whole process of getting the repairs done. He is an honest mechanic with constant communication on the fix. Definitely recommend him for any repairs.

Eddy is hands down the best mechanic I ve ever dealt with in my life. He has a very warm, genuine personality and he keeps his word. I was having terrible suspension problems with my Range Rover. He told me to drop it off and he d call me the same day with the diagnosis and he did. He told me what was wrong, gave me a quote, and said that he d have it fixed the next day and he did. The work is excellent, my truck drives like new and the quote did not change! Absolutely phenomenal service! Will most definitely be back!

Eddy is a great mechanic and excellent business man. Abe helped me as well. Couldn t ask for better service. As a single female, I was used to getting taken advantage of with price. Eddy was very reasonable and went above and beyond. Very thankful for the recommendation and will be referring everyone I know

Eddy is so amazing he really saved my car. While fixing my issue with my window Eddy also took notice of some more serious issues that would need addressing. He is very kind and knowledgeable as he knew immediately what the problem was before even looking at it. He is also very fair with price and very trustworthy. I appreciate him for being an honest mechanic. Hard to come by people like him in the auto repair industry. I am grateful that I found Eddie because I will be using him for all my car repair needs from now on.

Eddie (the owner) is a great mechanic with excellent skills. I have taken my BMWs to him and never had a problem. He is honest, respectful, fairly priced and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to take any car to him. Give him a try and you will not regret it

Eddie is the owner and he worked on my car twice. He provided great service and had reasonable prices for the work I needed. Came here to get some Front end work done on my 2006 Chrysler 300C Guys when I tell you the work that the mechanics at this autoshop did was truly wonderful at an affordable price. Eddie did so much for my car and more and kept me under 1000 dollars if you need any work done on a car go to him and his team. Eddie has been working on cars for most of his life and I guarantee you he will fix your car and you will forever be grateful to him. Thank you Eddie you have me as a customer for life and I'm telling you guys this is a 5 star auto shop with affordable prices and they actually work with you to make sure you get what you came for fixed.

I brought my Jeep here for suspension problems I was having. Eddie the owner was very professional and kept me informed during the whole process. After the repairs were done Eddie walker me around my jeep and showed me everything he had done. The price for everything was very reasonable and I can say I am satisfied. I will definitely be returning to this shop.

My name is Frank. I would like to tell you about the type of work I have had done by this shop. I own multiple vehicles and Edy has worked on every one of them. The cost is very reasonable and their guaranteed work is second to none. They give special attention to your needs and go above and beyond all of your expectations. I have recommended all of my friends to them and the comments are always astonishing with the repaired and cost. They are now recommending this shop. I know it sounds unbelievable right. Believe me you will not be disappointed. You can not get better satisfaction anywhere like Edy provides. Just read his Reviews!2nd review.I bought a 2015 Fiat 500 certified used car. For what it is worth what a joke. I needed to take a long emergency trip to Florida. I asked Edy to look at my car to make sure it will make the trip. I know I bought a used car but I can't believe how bad it was. I have had work done by this shop before and I truly trust them. They replaced front and rear brakes,flushed the transmission,flushed the cooling system,flushed the brake fluid and system,changed the oil, greased the suspension, and replaced the drivers side door handle.. I want you to know all this work was done same day at less than 1/2 the cost I had expected. I have seen the replaced parts. They were all substandard aftermarket parts. Not what you would expect from a reputable dealer from which the car was purchased. I am very happy with the service that was provided by Star Auto Repair and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Just look at that bill and all the work that was done in 1 day and you will see what I mean. I feel much safer now and I know my car will make the long trip. I got my front/rear breaks & rotors done 2day @Star Auto Repair in Evergreen Park, il...The price 4 parts & labor was affordable & I'm very pleased.. The owner Eddie is a wonderful person & an excellent Mechanic. The staff is very professional. See u later 4 future repairs... Thanks 4 Everything.

Eddy and Abe are both knowledgeable and hard working mechanics. They will fix your problem in a timely fashion at an afforadable price! Recently replaced my clutch master cylinder on my Honda Civic which is no easy job and did a great job ! Would recommend 5 out of 5.

Just picked up my car on Friday and I am extremely happy! From start to finish the service was impeccable. I was called and explained what needed to be done to my car, I was given fair prices, and everything was explained when I picked up my vehicle. If you are in need of maintenance or some major work done, GO HERE! My car made so much noise and needed tons of work, now I feel like I have a brand new car!

I've been dealing with Eddie and Abe for quite some time now. They work on anything from foreign to domestic and they are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend you stop by if you want your car fixed right the first time.

I took my 2004 Lincoln LS to Star Auto Repair after being told by Lincoln that it would cost several thousand dollars to change a belt and fix a loud squealing noise the car was making. Eddy and Abe were very courteous and upfront. Eddy told me that they would diagnose the problem and give me the best deal that they could reasonably offer to repair. Let me just say, it did not cost thousands of dollars and my Lincoln is now running like a Champ. The air conditioner stopped cooling this past summer, I took it back to Eddy and Abe and now the air is artic. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics through the years, but if you own a used car that might need any kind of major or minor repairs, I would definitely recommend Star Auto Repair. Keep up the good work Eddy and Abe!

Update: I ran into Eddie at the gas station. He apologized profusely about everything that I had experienced with them. I could tell he was being sincere about it and I explained I understand my car is older, but it just was a lot to deal with in terms of all the repairs. Most mechanics would just blow you off, but he was not like that at all. Because he apologized, I am updating my rating. I appreciated his sincerity.This will be a long read, but it's worth it for anyone who does not want to get taken advantage of. I wanted to really give Eddy and his son the benefit of the doubt, but I just can't at this point. I bought an older car, 2002 Nissan Maxima so I knew it needed to have a little TLC given to it. Since this place was close to my job and reviews good, I figured I'd give them a try. I told him to check for EVERYTHING since I had bought it from a private owner and I didn't know much about cars, but to make sure everything under the hood was good to go, fresh oil, filters, spark plugs, etc once again EVERYTHING. So I get the car back, it looks/sounds good, pay him $1200 to do all of this and go about my day. A couple months pass and I am having issues again. The car all of a sudden starts shaking and stops right at the tollbooth on the expressway (embarrassing) so I have it towed back to Eddy's to see what is going on. He then tells me a tube was somehow tied around the engine, but should be fine. It sounded too good to be true b/c the engine was shaking and the service engine light had come on a couple days later. So I get a second opinion only for them to tell me that the gaskets on the engine were completely warped and my options to get it fixed would either be to get a new engine or new car. Seeing that I had paid cash for this car and owned it, I figured I didn't want a car note and would go ahead and replace the engine altogether. Nissans are good cars anyways so it made more sense. I finally get the engine replaced by another mechanic. But decided to go back to Eddy's to tell him I felt like he took advantage of me because I told him to check for everything the first time and even upon the second time of having it towed there, he clearly did not check everything as he had said. Like how do you completely look over warped gaskets? So he tried to appease the situation by offering me free oil changes and check ups so as not to feel like I had been swindled out of my money. So being the person I am, I took the offer, but made sure to tell him to just be honest with me. I don't know about cars, but don't try to play this mechanic game with me and I just want things to be fixed the right way so I can go about my business. So as of March, my car started making a funny noise usually indicating that the oil needs to be changed along with the oil light coming on. So I take it over to him and his son and let them "change the oil". I put that in quotes because I come to find out today, nothing was actually changed. I only found this out due to the fact the oil light came on again along with the service engine light. I am like oh hell no I don't drive that much for it to need another oil change a month in and there were no evident leaks anywhere. So instead of even thinking to go back to Eddy's I take it back to the place where the engine was changed. The mechanic (Riteway Auto in Hazel Crest, which I will now recommend to anyone) informed me that nothing had been changed and my car had little to no oil in it. He said it looks like he just poured oil in it but it had not been changed properly and then showed me that the filter was the same one they had put in when they changed the engine for me and proceeded to actually show me exactly what I need to look for when it comes to the oil. I was baffled. I am like so not only did Eddy take advantage of me, he also lied about the oil. So I will never go back to him or recommend him to anyone. I am not even the type of person to be difficult I just want things to be fixed and done right. But this experience blew me and I will never use this place again.

This auto repair place and workers are heaven sent. Very professional, willing to help and not take advantage of the customer's. I found this gem when I was stretch thin and there they were. Eddy the owner is outstanding. I recommend anyone with a foreign vehicle to come by.

These guys are top notch. Their service is amazing. They explain to you what is wrong and even will send you a video of the car and show the parts that were broken and explain why they are bad. They are very helpful and honest And also most importantly give a very reasonable price!!

I just have to tell all those who will read and listen, Star Auto is the best car shop in town. They have reasonable rates and they don't prey on women's ignorance of car repair. They are upfront, honest and they go above and beyond. Eddy you Rock!

The guys here are amazing! It hard to find a good mechanic these days but the guys at Star Auto always get my car right. They can fix anything as simple as replacing a light bulb to internal engine repairs. Thank you guys for the top notch service!

Wow, where do I start. This has to be one of the best Auto Repair shops I've been to in a long time. Great service and prices, the guys at 3 Star really care about there customers and it shows.
