Only suckers take their high end European cars to the dealer. Come here and see Bruno. The work is top notch and he beats the dealers on costs. I worry that Bruno will retire and I ll be stuck without a mechanic.

I highly recommend the European Cars-Evergreen Park to everyone. Bruno has built his business on uncompromisable integrity. Five years ago, when this service was recommended to me, the person said Bruno was the most honest person on the Planet. And as stated in one of the earlier reviews, "If Bruno cannot help you, he will not hurt you!" And as a bonus, the prices are reasonable for maintenance on a Mercedes-Benz or similar vehicles!Service: General repairs & maintenance

These people have no respect for their customers! The owner Bruno yelled and screamed at me while I was in the recovery room at Edward Elmhirst Hospital. I was told I could I could supply my own parts. I delivered my parts to repair my vehicle directly to Bruno and I was never told that I could not supply my own parts. When I picked up my car the bill the was $964 approximately 400 more I was told that Bruno was not there. I was also told by Jason whom identified himself as Jason, Bruno son and the shop manager. Jason tried to add the $250 price of the that I spark plugs to the repair bill! I quickly informed Jason that I had supplied the spark plugs! Jason then rudely said to me that in th the future if I wanted to supply my own parts find someplace else to take my car! So I asked Jason what was the hourly shop labor hourly rate? Jason stated that his shop didn t have a hourly rate. According to Jason he charges whatever he thinks the job should cost.

This is probably my fault for taking my newer model BMW X3 here for brakes. But Bruno did my brakes in May and quoted me for all around pads and rotors for $600 but now 3 months later my brake light is on I call and he say he only did the rear. When he told me he was doing them all around! Why would I pay all that for just the rear when brakes all around at BMW is $1000! Never again! That s what happen when u a female and go the cheaper route! But I m pissed! He did a brake inspection and saw the front were bad as well! So how are u saying u didn t change them! Makes no sense! I would have never paid for just rear at that amount and my car is AWD!

We had brought our Mini Cooper to this shop and Bruno and the guys repaired a coolant leak. The vehicle still had a coolant leak about a week later, I can tell you this, I have been an ASE certified technician for over thirty years and due to an injury can not work on it myself. The guys at European Auto took in right away and corrected the issue. This was not what I was expecting after being mistreated at the Naperville Mini dealer. I will be bringing my Mini to European Auto from know on. I would absolutely recommend Bruno and the guys for any concerns with your vehicle. Thanks again guys I am glad I read your reviews and brought my Mini there for service. Not to many repair facilities left that treat customers correctly are still around European Auto is one of them.

My Father recommended my husband here Bruno is straightforward about price and service. We never had any problems...first come first serve but the early bird gets the worm. So by that Get there early to get the best workaround. Anybody who is reading these reviews can obviously see that Bruno who is the owner of the shop really cares about his customers and their cars. He was very honest in looking at my car & told me I would need a new engine and really would not be worth the repair price. It's refreshing to get an honest opinion and even gave me some advice to actually sell the vehicle the way it is for the most cost effective solution. He also didn't charge me a dime to diagnose it and ultimately made nothing in dollars but yet again gained a raving fan.. For honest car repair guy Bruno cannot be beet especially for foreign vehicles which seem to have a auto service niche for repairs all to their own.

My family uses this auto repair shop because of the quality work that has been preformed on our vehicles over the past 15 years. American and European cars, no matter the brand vehicle you have, Bruno and his staff will take good care of you. Bruno is the owner and he will guarantee you his work. This shop will not keep your vehicle weeks at a time. You take your ride in, get an estimate of the work, it's done in one to two days depending on parts needed. Bruno will tell you if he's backed up and when best to bring your vehicle; it's a drop off shop for the most part depending on the service needed. I've been using Bruno and his family business for over 40 years .. he's worked on a dozen of my BMW motor cars and is not just fun but expert at his craft -- and very reasonably priced!You may not get a loaner, but you'll get expert repairs you can rely upon!!

I have been going to Bruno for over 25 years and the service has always been outstanding. Just this past week he fixed both my Lexus and BMW and I am as always very pleased. Bruno knows his stuff. Did my repair on time at a reasonable price. I had some additional concerns about my suspension - could ve easily told me it was bad and tried to sell me additional repairs, but he checked it out and told me I had nothing to worry about. He ll have my repeat business next time I need a repair.

My engine light had been on for nearly two years and no one, not even the dealership, could figure out the problem after spending nearly $1K to get it fixed. EVERYONE told me that I was going to have to replace the engine and that I was looking at several more thousand dollars of repairs.A friend suggested that I bring my car to European. After making his diagnosis, Bruno just said $350. I asked him if my engine light would come back on and said of course, but not for that! Your engine is fine .Trust and believe that I was happy to hand over that $350 after initially thinking it would cost me over $4K. STAY AWAY FROM HEREAfter hearing the raves of his integrity, and great work, I brought my Benz to have brakes down. After one week, there was an excessive amount of brake dust from my brakes. They have turned my rims completely black. I returned the car and he had the nerve to tell me, "brakes make dust, this is how Mercedes makes the brakes". I informed him, Absolutely not , I have had my brakes down by the Benz dealer and have never had this problem. You are putting on inferior brakes and that is why they have done this. He never offered an apology, not cleaned my rims, which are ruined. Stay away! I would rather pay the $150 more than have cheap dusty brakes added to my car!My car did not have aftermarket brakes. You are a crook! You refused to refund me my money.

This is a family business, the owner Bruno is honest, fair and a great person. After my experience I will drive across town to have Bruno and his team fix my car. I cannot recommend them enough, price was more than fair as well.

Myself and friends have our cars serviced at European Auto.Went here to have a low beam bulb replaced on Monday. European Auto replaced the bulb at no charge. Always exceptional service at a fair price. I can't enough good things about European Auto.

Bruno is the best, always fair and upfront prices. Better than some dealerships repair facilities. If you have a European car that needs service, this is a place worth considering and should be in your top 3. Also, they work with extended warranty companies.

Was quick and appeared to have done a good job on my brakes. Haven't had any issues since. However, my automatic emergency braking hasn't worked since I had European to replace my brakes.

I've been taking my VWs to these guys for years. Excellent work, friendly service, and fair prices. They don't need to upsell or do unnecessary work because they've built they're business on trust. I only wish that they worked on American cars as well.

EUROPEAN CARS-EP IS THE SHOP for your foreign car service! Bruno has serviced my cars over 35 years! He's better than the dealer in price, quality parts, and speed of service! A family business, Bruno is an honest businessman! If I need it, he will advise so. If I don't, he will advise when. I live/work 5 miles from my car dealer in the Loop. I live 25 miles from European Cars-EP. I dropped my car off at 6:30a, commute an hour to/from the shop; and it's always ready the next day! I don't mind the journey to have European work on my car because I know Bruno knows foreign cars, and he never steers me wrong! I once had a conversation with another shop competitor who said, "If Bruno told you what was needed, I can't argue with him. He's the best in the business!" #doublecheck

They're probably great, but they are so busy that they couldn't take me. I was told to arrive before 8am in order to get service, which I did, but they were still already full. This is evidence that they are really good, though it was frustrating for me.

Bruno and his team are excellent repairman , they're honest in telling you what's wrong with your vehicle,most time depending on what needs to be repaired you can get your car back the same day.... Only thing is they may be a little pricey..

Honest, family owned business, been at the same spot for about as long as I've had a car (30+ years!) Same owners, same quality service. As the name states, they only service foreign cars, mainly European. The place is busy, so don't just show up - call ahead. I've seen the same mechanics there for as long as I can remember!
