My car was having an issue, I stopped at Jeffy Lube garage at Dempster Street, Evanston Illinois. To my surprise, the waiting time was about 10 minutes, and my car was fixed in about 20. It thus a great and pleasant experience. I vividly recommend people to bring their cars there if they want in a hurry.

I wasted my time coming here, worst customer service ever! I came for a Lyft inspection at this location,my car is in good condition ! and the worker Jose scammed me, saying my tires are bad, then he really wanted me to buy a windshield wiper saying their bad too just to make money the total was $50. They ended up calling the police on me because I didnt want to pay because they didn t do any labor on my car. I really feel like they are a Hispanics based workers just trying to make some money the wrong way What goes around come around. Y all gonna get y all Karma in Gods timing, because y all was wrong for trying to scam

Prompt and thorough service. Willingness to accommodate and special order specific transmission fluid needed for our hybrid. They scheduled me to return first thing the next morning and completed my service. All employees were polite and made sure I understood all the steps they took, what needed to be replaced, topped off, etc.

I hate the pressure that I am receiving to fill out surveys and reviews by providing my email at time of service . It has triggered minimal 10 to 15 request and they re still coming.If I want to review a company I will do it and I don t need to be pressured into doing it.By doing this now I m hoping that this will stop the onslaught of request to not only messenger account but my email also.Transparency the oil change cost more than I had expected. The person working in my engine to replace the filter seemed overly aggressive with pushing and pulling and I talked to the manager about my concern as I was concerned about damage Occurring. I religiously take my car to the dealership for oil changes where it is more comprehensive and cheaper but I did not have the time so I paid more and got less and as a bonuswas hit with an onslaught of request to push reviews.

I really enjoyed the service at this Jiffy lube. I went for an oil change but was thankful for the optional service they offered. Staff is super friendly, prices are reasonable and the service was quick with limited wait. Happy to return in the future.

As always, this Jiffy Lube provided outstanding service. I would've given 5 stars if the corporation were not mercilessly gouging us with supply costs. $17 for a turn signal light? $69 for 4 quarts of oil? I'm sorry but that ain't right. Sending this in in support of the local staff! Hoping the Company is more responsive.

I regularly bring my car here as I live nearby and it's very convenient. Been coming here for seven years. I think they do good work, but I was told a year or two ago that the business had changed owners and all of the old staff was replaced. It seems there's more turnover than there used to be. I had my oil changed here two days ago and they did a good job, but they have stopped cleaning the glass/vacuuming the car interior. The website says they still do that, but they do not for my car.

I recently moved to Evanston and had nowhere else to go for service for my car. The Jiffy Lube #1841 on Dempster was where I chose to go and I definitely made the right choice. All of service technicians were extremely polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and kept me informed while I waited. And I never waited long for anything that needed to be done. I have a feeling I will be back for multiple future visits. Thank you to all of the techs that assisted me!

I had a low tire pressure that clearly needed to be checked. The store was open on Sunday and took me in. After a brief wait my tire was evaluated along with a few other routine checks. 10 minutes later my tire was repaired and all done for $25!!! And with friendliness and courtesy. I have been going here for a very long time! Never had any complaints. All the workers and especially the Manager are really there to help you and listen to all your concerns. Great service and great communication skills. Will definitely recommend my friends and family to go here!

Vehicle had a dead battery. They uncovered an oil leak issue and made a recommendation to just keep an eye out that if it gets worse then fix it. There was zero pressure to upsell anything and they fixed the issue on the spot. The mechanic seemed to be thorough and suggested coming back in two weeks to make sure the seal replaced didn t have any issues. Said the work had. 90 a day warranty. I m pretty pleased with the service.

These guys are efficient, thorough, honest, and nice. Had to get a few things replaced (oil change, battery, lights, wiper blades, fluids, tire rotation). I don t think I was there for even a full hour (mid-dayish on a weekday probably helped, but I wasn t the only one there and everyone got in and out pretty fast). Quick, easy, and what I d expect to spend for what I had done. Big fan. See ya guys in 5,000 miles!

Always professional, available, friendly, and will help you if you need air in your tires, or to check your oil levels in between. Hours are great and they are Quick This location, I believe is the best in the area, I highly recommend.

I had a good experience at the Jiffy Lube in Evanston. I did not need to make an appointment. They took care of my car right away. All the employees I spoke with were polite. The prices they charged seemed fair, even less costly than the ones charged by other companies. I would definitely recommend it.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Here's the thing about this jiffy lube- They did an absolute sickass fantastic job. It took them like 15 minutes to change my oil. They put a mat down so they didn't get my car dirty- please note: my car is not clean- but I appreciate the sentiment. When they were done, the check oil light was off and my rav4 purred like a house cat. Would 10/10 go here again.

From start to finish, it took an hour to get my oil changed. The staff was friendly and allayed any concerns I had (based on reading other customer reviews). The price was reasonable. Staff is good and attentive. It takes time for your turn if you visit on a weekend. Fair charges. Just one issueMy first time oil and filter change and car is smelling every time I turn on heat.

They changed the oil on my Ford Escape and failed to secure the splash shield, so it partially fell off and began to drag on the ground after a few hours of driving. I completely regret coming here and I recommend no one wastes their time and money by doing so as well. I m looking at, at best, going to the hardware store on a holiday weekend + multiple hours of work on my end to unf*** their mistake, at worst I have to drive it to a shop with the shield dragging the entire way.Just make an appointment at a place that could take the extra two minutes to properly secure four bolts on the bottom of your car. My experience at jiffy lube was very good.I had a quick and easy oil change and brakes service. The managers Umair Ijaz and Jose Sanchez was very welcoming and Friendly.i would definitely recommend this jiffy lube to anyone.

Really good service very professional easy to work with. They explain everything to me and it was easy to under and follow. I will go back to get a couple more things done to my vehicle. Highly recommend.

Friendly service. My Quetions were answered. No pressure to buy anything or have an extra service . I came to have an oil change but did a radiaror flush also. Jose was very helpful and also the rest of the team that worked on Monday-February 26, 2024.

The biggest thing I notice when I go there, is they don't talk down to me or make me feel stupid about the little knowledge that I do have about cars. They make me feel comfortable to ask questions and actually understand what they're doing and what my car needs.Really good service. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and kind. I've only gotten oil changes and top ups from them, but they do full check and even helped get my spare tyre out from where it had been stuck for two years. 10/10Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

Karl: Thanks for your persistance. My experience was very good; the response was immediate and the work seemed thorough, as least from a layerperson's perspective. There was a heavy upsell, which I expected, and have nothing against the efforts. They were presented, but not in heavy handed way, and when I declined, there was no more pushing.As a skeptic by nature, and having read a few bad reports about fast oil change businesses, I raised a question when I saw a worker bring up a big jug of fresh oil from the basement. I had ordered full synthetic and there was no way for me to tell whether it was indeed synthetic. The salesperson was kind enough to take me to the basement to show me the source of volume oils. I appreciated the gesture, but he conceded there was no way for one tell then what was actually in my car without chemical analysis (i.e. there is no distinction by look/feel between regular oil and synthetic oil); I naively expected fresh quarts of oil would opened in from of me. But I respected the effort.The one issue I had was with the pricing chart and the original verbal quote, which was $89.95. The salesperson did not make clear that price included only five gallons of oil, and my car needs eight, which was an additional $36. I think you would build better trust with your customers if you made this clear from the start, vs. after after the inspection was done and the oil was drained from the car.That said, I would return again.Good luck to you.

Took my car in for a new brake belt, which lasted two weeks before needing to be replaced AGAIN. New mechanic let me know that Jiffy Lube used the cheapest belt on the market and charged us more than what I m paying for a better belt the second time. Will never go back to Jiffy Lube beyond getting a car wash.

I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube Evanston. They were quick, thorough, and made sure that I was offered all of the things that my car needs that they are able to do. They didn't judge me for not doing all of it and didn't put any pressure on me.

the manager failed my lyft inspection because of a piece of rubber being a little worn on the back windshield wiper. he offered to "fix" it by replacing the blase for. . .$39.99!!!!! Outrageous! i then went to (2) different repair shops and both reported that my blade was fine. I explained what at jiffy lube and the second repair shop "fixed" or replaced my blade in literally like 30 seconds. also, having a back blade is optional not mandatory. not all cars have a back blade. i came back and of course i "passed" the lyft inspection. i wasted my time tremendously. to top it off, the manager was rude and nasty to me and his co-workers. ... i'm done with this jiffy lube. bye!
