I brought my mom's car in, they gave us a reasonable price, the staff is very friendly, explained everything what needed to be done. The work was top notch. I highly recommend this shop.

My front bumper was falling off, so I came in to get an estimate and to potentially schedule for a later day to get it fixed.Bill was kind enough to take a look at my car as soon as I walked in. He told me that him and his team could get it fixed right away.It took them 25-30 minutes at most and it looks good as new! The price was super reasonable. Thank you so much for your professionalism and great work. I m definitely coming back if I have any damages to my car in the future. I highly recommend them. Can't say enough good things about Bill, his son, and his entire crew. I've had to use them twice in the last year. Once for a deep scratch/dent over most of the right side of my 2018 Grand Cherokee without involving insurance. The second time was for a worse problem with involving the passenger side front wheel area that required replacing the tie rod and other steering and suspension components, plus various body parts. In each case they were responsive, on-time, and on budget with accurate estimates, excellent work, and on time. They were also judgement free on my frequent fender bender activity!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

I came to Dempster Auto Rebuilders because my hood was not opening. The hood only opens if one person holds the release lever while another person pry the hood open. Bill took a quick look and said all of the components appears functional. He then applied WD-40 on the latch and tested it again to make the hood release is working properly. The best part is Bill did not charge me a penny for this visit! Thank you Bill for fixing my hood and getting me back on the road. You have earned my trust and business here on out!

It doesn't get much better than Dempster Auto Rebuilders. Everything you could want in a repair shop. If I had to narrow down why this place is a total gem it would be difficult, but I'll try as that is the point of a review� The business has been in the family for half a century and has been a staple in the Evanston community for the entire duration. From supporting local sports teams to keeping people moving by working on their vehicles thoroughly and efficiently, Dempster Auto Rebuilders has it's neighbors backs!� When I brought my vehicle in to Dempster for work, Bill, the owner and nicest guy around, kept me updated every bit of the way and let me know that my insurance company wasn't communicating like they normally do. Thanks to him keeping me in the loop as often as he did I was able to determine that my insurance company made a mistake with the paperwork therefore delaying my repair by weeks! While I was livid with the insurance company, I was so grateful to Bill for flagging as it ended up saving me time and money in the end. Personable, trustworthy, efficient, smart, and kind - these guys have got it and we need more repair shops like this in the world!Thanks guys!

This place is great! they fixed my SUV after a school bus hit it and it looks as if nothing happened to it. They are professional and kind. From getting a quote, to the communication during the repair, and pick up it was all made an easy process.

Great experience with Bill. Needed multiple parts on front bumper fixed. Was done in 3 days and no surprise costs at the end. Friendly staff. Amazing!

Absolutely blown away by the service. I called five minutes before their closing time to ask if they could take a look at my car. Dick Peach attended to me straight away, and took the time to fix my car on the spot. I will definitely be back here! Thank you!

I can't believe this is the first review. I have known Dempster Auto Rebuilders for many years and always been pleased with their work. My experience with them has been great! They are helpful, reasonable and accountable.They have repaired and replaced parts on two Toyotas and a Honda. The Toyota Cressida was hit while parked and the door destroyed. They obtained a new door from Tokyo, replaced it and then touched up all the rest as well. I am now waiting for another "hit and run" to be fixed on my Camry. They keep costs as low as possible and do good work. They put a positive spin on having one's car hit.You can't ask for more.

My car would not start about 3 blocks away from this place.....I walked there and asked to borrow a battery jumper.They let me use it ....no charge...no questions...just trusted me to take it, use it, and bring it back!!......So although I have never had a repair here....Their sincerity and integrity in this interaction should speak for itself.

Love these guys! Every time I go to them they exceed my expectations for price, quality, and craftsmanship, and knowing they are the very best sort of people makes it alot easier to hand over all that hard earned money for high quality repairs.
