I previously only ever took my cars to Dealers for fear of being taken however Mehta Motors are truly honest mechanics! Which I can't say the same of BMW service centers.I've been coming here for 5 years and they have been consistently very helpful and honest. Highly recommended.

Very informative! Very kind and Very professional! I found a new mechanic for sure! You can't complain about price of engine work if you want it repaired the right way! If they can't fix it,it(the car) needs to be put away with.I feel they can fix everything!

Have worked in this city for 16 years and had a nail in my tire...figured I'd go somewhere close, rather than my dealership. Extremely friendly, had it done in about 10 minutes and for a great price ($15 less than my dealership charged the last time I had a nail in my tire). Will be coming here now on rather than my dealership for service, they are the friendliest and the best! A++++Tire #2 today (might be the same tire...not sure) again awesome service and plugged it quickly and so friendly. Really nice people. Brought 2 run down cars in and they told me both could be fixed but weren't worth the cost. It takes a lot of honesty to turn away work and they seem trustworthy.

Took my car into Mehta motors today for a flat tire. Very professional, trustworthy and would definitely recommend based off my experience. They took care of my tire issue in less than 20 minutes and were very reasonably priced. Will definitely use Mehta for any future car repair needs.Service: TiresService: Tires

My car was having transmission issues the day before I had to drive across the state for a friend's wedding. Mehta Motors handled the issue quickly and gave me a very reasonable price. One of the most wonderful things about local family-owned businesses is that they tend to treat you like family, and that most certainly holds true for this fine establishment.

My experience at Mehta motors was great. Brought in my car for some routine work and it was done quickly and at a good price. They were very easy to work with, and didn t try to upsell me on anything. Would highly recommend.

Mehta Motors is amazing. Our family has had many German cars over the years, and we could never really nail down a good shop for when they go out of warranty. Mehta is such a great independent shop located right in the heart of Elmhurst. For almost every repair/service we have had done here, it has been at least half the price of the dealer with the same if not better quality of work. Today I came in for an oil change, and general lubrication for my Audi. I also noted that my panoramic sunroof was rattling a bit. I come back to a price of only $75 for my oil change, lubrication, and spark plug inspection. The sunroof rattle is completely gone. Also, they use high quality oil and filters just like the dealer would. The staff is also very kind and never lies about the work that needs to be done. They never try to upsell you on services you don't need like BMW and Audi dealerships do. We even plan to take our vehicles still under factory warranty here for maintenance. It is for sure one of the best German car shops in the Chicago suburbs and they always ensure you are happy with their work even days or weeks after your service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

I have been a loyal customer for 15-20 years. I have always found them to be responsive, honest and prompt. They have helped me maintain my used cars for years. Highly recommend. Nice family and a great car wash too.

Mehta is AWESOME. Very professional service, pleasant to speak with, and HONEST diagnostics!Shazaad was able to squeeze me in on very short notice, perform a comprehensive check (going well beyond my expectations) and fix minor issues that I neither knew about nor asked for... At no additional cost. They are extremely fair in pricing, and gave an excellent recommendation for a specialty repair shop. Mehta gained my trust and is my go to mechanic from here on out. Highly recommend them, save yourself the headache and go to Mehta! Thank you guys for going above and beyond.

I drive over 30 mins to get my cars serviced here simply because I completely trust them and have never had a bad experience. Having a great mechanic is like having a great doctor that genuinely looks out for you. Your life depends on it. I have known them almost 27 years taking care of my cars that they are like family.

Didn't have actual work done but, I work down the street and my battery died, walked down to see if I could get and jump and the gentleman walked down with pack and jumped me at no cost, very friendly

This review is long over due!! Don't go anywhere else in the suburbs!!Mehta motors saved the day fixing my wife's mini cooper in time for her to visit her parents for Thanksgiving. They even got rid of this terrible squealing noise other shops couldn't diagnose. I'll give you the short of it..These gentleman were honest, thorough, had very fair pricing, great communication, and finished the job in a timely manner. If you're tired of playing games with shady repair shops and dealerships then this is the place for you!

Always excellent service! I have been going to Mehta Motors for the past 2 years, since the warranty on my BMW expired. Initially, the dealership told me I had an oil leak, wanted $2500 to fix. I suspected this was not the case, and got a 2nd opinion from MM; no leak. Again, I had some minor body work and asked another local shop for a quote to fix a running day time lamp that was out. They quoted me over $2k; cost to remove necessary parts and replace the light. This seemed absurd. I took it to MM again, and while he initially quoted me $75 for the light and labor, it ended up being a 2-3 day process but he did no overcharge for anything. It still ended up cost a small fraction of what the international auto shop quoted me. Shazad is very kind, professional and HONEST. Prices are very fair. I feel comfortable bringing my luxury cars to him.

Definitely earned my business. Extremely polite over the phone and answered my questions very quickly without making me feel like it was gonna cost me a lot of money. Got the job done 2 1/2 days quicker than expected and it was cheaper than I expected, I am more than ecstatic with their repair work and they even washed my car, he has definitely earned my business I will be bringing my BMW back from now on and this will be the only shop I will allow to touch my car, thanks again guys great job!!!

I've taken my 15-year-old Subaru there twice for minor suspension work and a suspicious noise and they did a great job both times and quickly, too. It's an honest shop with quality people. They could have sold me a new power steering pump for the noise, but they didn't. It was just loose belts. I'll be going there again when something else comes up.

These guys have earned my business, which is tough to do.I am the biggest pain in the rear for auto mechanics - I'm a high level DIY kind of guy, and I get to know my cars inside and out. Dishonest auto shops hate people like me, because I can smell their bull right out of the gate. That said, I also know when I'm in over my head, and a recent driveline issue with my 99 BMW forced me to look for a good local mechanic that really knows BMWs. (Most don't, even if they say they do)Shazad and his guys were straight up about pricing - did an excellent job of diagnosing the real issue, showed me what was wrong, worked with me on sourcing parts, and even cleared an old warning light for me that wasn't related to the repair. They got the car done within the time frame they promised, and right at the price they quoted up front.Are they the cheapest rate in town? Absolutely not - although I've found that many shops with lower hourly rates often cost more, because they simply don't know what they're doing. Mehta's guys know what they're doing. If you're trying to cheap out your repairs, this might not be the place for you - but if you value automotive expertise, and are willing to pay a fair price for it, knowing that the work was done correctly, then this shop is for you. This is now my default Independent mechanic of choice.

This place is honest- they tell you the truth about your car's condition and only recommend fixing things that need to be fixed. They have been spot on every time I've brought my car(s) to them. Their repairs are timely and finished when promised.

Awesome! They really listen to you, about wants going on with your car, they have a team of guys, so the work is done fast! A fare price $$, and Mehta refills all your fluids like the BMW dealers.

The car wash is a complete rip off. Do not waste your time. It is way over priced for a machine was. There was no vacuuming with the wash and if you want that you have to pay extra. Don t waste your time! Drive right by it!
