Lee is a tire guru. He explains everything that's wrong with your tire, rims etc then proceeds to cure the issues...he beats the franchise tire places hands down! The best around!!!!

Today is a day I will never forget. I met an amazing human being in Mr. Lee Hogan. Came outside on my lunch break and noticed my tire was completely flat. Looked up tire shops in the area and Tire Service was the closest to me. Mr. Lee immediately fixed the issue and got me back to work in no time. The Blessing was just having a conversation with him talking about life. He is a very kind person that takes great care of his customers. I don't want to ever catch another flat, but I will gladly stop by and chat with Mr. Lee on my lunch breaks sometimes. This world needs more people like you. Thank you.

Lee did a fantastic job on my vintage Porsche. He found errors that previous tire service places had made. He showed each to me and then fixed them. The car rides so much better and all it needed was proper balancing. Same tires I drove in with but a much better ride. His knowledge, care and attention to detail were top notch. He takes pride in his work and I will certainly bring my cars here in the future.

Lee did a awesome job swapping out my old run flat tires to brand new all season tires for the winter. I like how he took his time to look over my rims and tires to makes sure everything was in order, he also took pictures of the process and showed me. Great pricing for the work he does, highly recommend. He s definitely earned my future business

Will not go to anyone else to have my tires mounted. Lee did an amazing job installing tires on both mine and my brothers 51 chevys. Both jobs were done fast, clean, and he didnt even get a scratch on the wheels. He gave us options for valve stems and how we would like the wheels balanced. There's a reason my family has been using him for 20+ years. Thanks again Lee!

I don t even know where to begin, so I guess I ll start at the very beginning. In August of 2019, I went to a car show at Stratford Mall, and I and the gentleman parked next to me got to talking, and he began telling me a glowing review/experience he had with a tire shop in Elk Grove called Tire Service, run by a man named Lee. I jotted it down in my notes on my phone, and figured I d look into it one day down the road, if the shop I normally use was busy, and I needed something done right away. Fast forward to May of 2020. I ve decided to get my new wheels powder coated and I remember the story about Lee and the work he does, so I decided he would be the guy I want handling these. I ll spare you all the drama with the powder coater giving me someone else s wheels, Lee pointing out the haphazard job they did coating the back and valve stem holes, and the panicked driving from Elk Grove back to Joliet to get there before MY wheels were given to someone else.The weekend has come and gone, and I m finally ready to bring MY wheels and tires to be mounted and balanced at Lee s. I drop them off, with the widest grin I think I ve ever had. Then, about 30 minutes later, I get a call from Lee with bad news. Not one, but ALL the wheels are bent! Which means they had coated bent rims! He puts them on the machine for me, shows me where they re wobbling, and at this point, my heart has got to be in my stomach.He runs down my options, and I give him the go ahead to do his best. The Porsche 944 these are going on isn t going to be racing anybody at stop lights, and my dad will only be driving it to the movies, church, and the occasional ice cream shop. Haha. Knowing the amount of work he s looking at, I m expecting these won t be ready until tomorrow. But, lo and behold, LEE STAYED AFTER HOURS at the shop, working on these for me, and even painted the weights white to match the wheels!! They are absolutely beautiful!! For the work Lee put in for me, I left feeling I had underpaid!I will never go anywhere else to get my wheels worked on, and I m telling every single one of my friends about him. He truly treats your wheels as if they are going on his own car. You won t find anyone better!

What can I add about Lee that hasn't already been noted?? He is encyclopedic in his knowledge of all things related to tires. His work is thorough and photo-documented. He is fair and prompt. I recommend patronizing Lee for all tire repairs as well as installations - bring your own as he doesn't sell tires. Regardless, you won't regret it!

Have you ever come here for a tire service? Not yet? Well, your loss. Lee is just phenomenal, knowledgeable and courteous. He inspected my wheels and tires in the most detailed way. I have not seen anyone being so precise when it comes to tires. Starting today I am not going anywhere else. I am a customer for life!

Been using Lee at Tire Service for the last few years. I really wish I knew about him years ago. Once you go and talk to him you'll understand why he is the go to for your tire install or repairs.

I ordered tires from Tire Rack and had them delivered to my house as I was not sure where I was going to get them installed. I happened to mention this to a friend and he said that a friend of his recommends Lee Hogan at Tire Service in Elk Grove Village. It took me some time to get around to making an appointment with Lee. During that time, my car was at a friend s shop and we were working on it. Two people there noticed I had a small nail in one of the tires and I mentioned to them that I had a new set just waiting to be installed somewhere. Both of them highly recommended The Tire Whisperer , Lee Hogan in Elk Grove Village. These recommendations made me feel pretty confident that Lee Hogan was the man to see about tires. I called Lee and set up an appointment to drop my car off and have the tires installed. At 10:00 a.m., I dropped the car off, handed the keys to Lee, and let him work his magic. Apparently the previous tire installers did not do a very good job. Lee was able to get the job completed and was able to provide a lot of feedback about how the previous tires were installed and all of the stuff he did to insure that my new tires were properly and safely installed. The depth of Lee s tire knowledge has no bottom and he showed me pictures of how he meticulously installed my new tires. I was impressed with Lee s commitment to taking his time and making sure that he does a quality job. That is a rare commodity these days. I appreciate that Lee was super helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the chats both before and after the job. Very soon I'll have another car that I will be bringing there so that he can install new tires on there as well. If you are looking for quality job, then look no further than Lee Hogan. Lee helped me when a rock was stuck in my tire! He was able to be concise, when explaining the problems with my car. Lee went above and beyond by fixing my tire issue in a timely fashion. He also took pictures of the corrosion on different car parts that should have been cleaned by my mechanic. I will come back and suggest you do as well. His price was fair. Lee was knowledgeable and I will be going back! Thank you again, Tire Service!

5 stars is not enough. Lee fixed a tire the dealer service refused to fix. I was told I should change all 4 tires. Lee not only fixed it, he said that I can still drive on these tires. He knows what he is doing, he has knowledge, patience and passion. Cleaned the rims, protected them from corrosion before putting the tire on. Highly recommended thank you so much, will be back for sure

Great service! Lee went above an beyond compared to what several other places will not do. I came in with a blown out tire and he made sure the rim was fine but also assured that my tire pressure valve was replaced. Very insightful and helpful on giving me tips and pointers to avoid future problems. He was generous enough to see me half hour before the shop closed, without cutting corners on his work. Definitely recommending this place to others for any tire issues.

Lee is the best out there, period. I've been going here for over 20 years. He always puts in the extra effort to be 110% perfect, even fixing other installers mess ups and/or neglect. We keep you busy Lee so you don't retire...LOL! Anyway, thanks again for getting my wife's car all set.

Great service, price, friendliness, attention to detail, everything is indeed 5 stars, just like every review you see online says. One great thing for enthusiasts - Lee is very detail oriented and even pointed out a 2mm bend (which he said he wouldn't even really call it a bend and it didn't need any work done on it whatsoever) but you can see the kind of precision and level of detail you would be getting with him. If you need to have any tire work done, I would not hesitate to go to Lee.

I just moved to Elk Grove this month, so when I got a flat I had no idea where to go. I did a Google search, read a couple of reviews before I read the Tire Service review, more specifically Lee's reviews. I had to meet the guy that people left such genuine and appreciative reviews for. Lee surpassed my expectations! I told him how I was proud of myself for changing my own tire for the first time but bummed that I had to pay for a tire since my lease for the vehicle was up within the week. Lee looked at the tire and confirmed it could not be fixed and gave me a few numbers to call for a used tire. Lee continued to take a look at the rest of the tires (and check my work on the spare I put on), thankfully he checked because the spare air was low and there was a nail in another tire....thankfully it did not need repair. I called the places he recommended while still in the lot, found the used tire, and scheduled to have it delivered to Tire Service. Lee took the flat tire to keep and prep to be ready for the new used one. The tire came in a day later than expected, Lee was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault nor the place he recommended....I recommend them for use tires too, let's blame the delivery issue on FedEx. Lee called me when the tire came in and was ready, so I went back to shop, which I love by the way...you can tell by looking at his shop that he takes pride in his work, work place, and tools, you can also see some of the hobbies he enjoys like photography. He had a pretty cool pic of the Cubs Rally...GO CUBS.While he changed my tire I played darts in the shop, fun time!!Lee was very generous when it came to payment as he knew I was turning in my lease the next day. The entire experience beginning to end with Lee was completely stress free, but more importantly I feel like I met an exceptional human being that truly cares about people!! Thanks Lee for going above and beyond, for turning Lemons(getting a flat) toLee-monade. Highly recommended!!!

Lee did a superb job and saved me money!! Not only did he do a great job of repairing my tire which had a slow leak due to a nail, he also took the corrosion off the rim and sprayed it with a coating to inhibit future corrosion. Lee is extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, honest and dedicated to providing the absolute best service and at a very reasonable price. I will be returning to him when I am ready for a new set of tires. He's a true gem!

Lee was tremendous in helping out a non-automotive savvy customer like me with a flat. Dropped everything he was doing, took the time to explain why my tire was no longer viable in its current condition, swapped out the spare like a NASCAR pit crew, and had me on my way in less than 20 minutes. Class act and super service all around. I'll be going back over and over.

My husband called this place about getting my valve replaced in my truck and I'm so glad we went to see Lee. He has been doing this for over 40 years and he knows his stuff. We got such an education on what does and doesn't get done with tire it was ridiculous. Lee went above and beyond my expectations for what I needed done. He even took the time to balance the one tire he worked on because he didn't like what he saw when he took the room off the tire. Thank you so much Lee for doing the amazing work you do and I will see you soon for the other 3 tire!!

Lee is a true professional! I got my tires replaced at a chain tire shop. I had a wobble. They told me it was a mechanical issue with the car. My mechanic told me it was a tire issue. I went to Lee and he found my tires weren t properly balanced and I had a bent rim! He knows his stuff! I can t thank him enough.

I have never been happier to pay for something in my life. I recently moved to Chicago and have no connections with any automotive repair shops. I had been experiencing a leaky tire, unsure of the origin, so I looked up tire repair shops near my work and found Lee's shop from the plethora of fantastic reviews. I brought my car in, and Lee found the source so quickly. It was not a tear or nail like I had presumed, but it was a corroded valve stem! He was able to diagnose the issue and repair my tire within 30 minutes (I was on my lunch hour). I have never had a better experience with an automotive expert in my life. I am so grateful to Lee for being such a kind and helpful person while also making sure I understood every step of the process he took for the repair. I will only be coming to Lee from here on out for tire troubles.

I got a flat when driving on my lunch break in Elk Grove. I googled Tire Service and Lee's Tire Service (formerly K O Tire) popped up. I stopped in and Lee informed me that he doesn't sell tires but installs tires for customers that have their tires delivered to him.Sadly, I thought I would have to limp to another place, but Lee immediately said I have 30 minutes before my next installation so pull your call in and let me take a look. He then proceeded to take over an hour with me taking each of my tires off and examining them. Identifying areas in the rims that need to be fixed and he also mounted my spare tire (which by the way, he identified needed a ton of air...thank god or another disaster could have happened).He told me he couldn't let anyone leave consciously knowing they might be in danger with their tires. He is an absolutely wonderful person and I will definitely be shipping all my tires to him in the future for installation. Plus what a great conversation we had...it felt like I had known him for years. I would have rated him a 10 on a scale of 5 but unfortunately Google won't let me. I can't imagine ever using another place and highly recommend him!!!!

I have been using Lee for the last 21 years. You won't find a more honest, friendly, knowledgeable person in the business. If he can fix your tire he will in a very timely manner with quality service. When my tire was beyond help Lee even helped me fine the best option.My children have also started using Lee and couldn't be happier with the service.I highly recommend Tire Service on Seeger Ave. in Elk Grove Village. I met Lee today after reading these reviews of awesome experiences his customers have had. I needed my tire repaired and set back on my original rim after having received bad service from one of the big name tire places. Lee took his time and was very thorough as he welcomed me to watch how he worked. They just don't make em like him any more. Thank You Lee!

Lee Hogan is the real deal and cares about what he does and wants you and your family to be safe. Period. There are two types of people in this world: those who couldn't care less about tires until they have a problem, and those who obsess over tires. If you are the former, you need to have Lee's number on speed dial because it's just a matter of time. If you are the latter, you will appreciate the attention to detail Lee will spend on your tires and wheels. After being told elsewhere the wheels on my daughter's car needed to be replaced, I spent months (years...) trying to find an alternative. Luckily, I was directed to Lee, who revived the old wheels and installed & balanced new tires. You will read a lot of rave reviews and I can assure you they are not made up Lee's momma raised him right.

Lee was great and had amazing service. I showed up after another local business recommended his shop because I needed a new valve stem for my spare tire. He was super friendly and not only replaced the valve stem but also checked the interior of the tire for any puncture- as well as balancing the tire. If you want your tires done- I would highly recommend Lee at Tire Service!
