I don't know what happened to my original review, but I'm more than happy to redo it! No matter where you are, this is hands down the BEST place to come for honest & fair-priced hard work. My Suzuki failed emissions back in August. My family, friends & I tried everything we knew with no success. I took my car to Rolando's, though they were upfront about being unsure since it was a Suzuki, and left it there just ONE work day. The next day, I took it in & passed with no issues! I can never thank & praise them enough.

During a road trip to Chicago, my brake line sprang a leak and I had no brakes for the return trip home. The team at Rolando's sympathized with my situation and arranged to fit my car into their booked schedule to get me safely back on the road. They did good work for a good price, and they helped me immensely!

I brought my Honda in for a tire repair as I found a nail in it, leaving work. They were very honest and informed me that the nail did not puncture through, and no repair was needed. They also fit me in while they were very busy. Great and honest service. Rachel and Anish were both very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return here for any future car repairs.

My car needed collision repair. Parts were ordered. Car repaired beautifully within the promised time frame for an extremely fair price. Cannot say enough about their service and employees.

Whoever is reading this, you need to go to this shop. I can t thank these guys enough.This last year has been a nightmare with my car, one repair after another. Turns out the previous shop I went to was intensely deceitful, price gouging me and urging me to fix things that don t need fixing, while beating around the bush with things that *actually* need fixing.Everyone at Rolando s is so kind and honest, especially Rachel, who I worked with most of the time. During one incident, she even called the previous shop who was trying to screw me over, explaining that the work they did is what created the problem in the first place. Calmly and professionally.I can t stress how difficult it is to find honest mechanics these days. If you re on the fence, give these guys a try. I promise you won t regret it. They ll tell it to you straight, be honest, and have reasonable prices. They even told me several times when replacing certain parts would be a waste of my money. I owe them so many thanks.

Such a great place! I dropped off my vehicle, from start to finish I was informed everything. Communication... Starting from the techs themselves, Racheal(Has an abundance of knowledge and is awesome to work with) and back to me was a great example of everyone's elementary game - 'The Telephone'. The end result was receiving all my options they laid into my lap and I was the deciding factor. A++ in my book. Not only will I return, but I highly recommend stopping by on your next auto need. If the car can't make it, they are connected with a tow service too. Just ask Racheal. Thank you.

If you're looking for an Honest Family run Auto Repair & Body Shop. This is the place to take your mechanical needs in Elk Grove Village.This team gives you the feeling of a small country town mechanic. That's hard to find 15 min. from O'Hara Airport.It's so perfect! You can drop off vehicle, and jump on a plane for your trip. Come back to a fixed vehicle with No parking fees.

I ended up with a long list of repairs needing to be done by a different service station totalling more than the car was worth, and brought my 16 y/o toyota to Rolando's on recommendation from co-workers. Not only did the cut the original quote in half, but found other items that would have been costly down the road. Repairs are done quickly with care for your schedule and done well. As things go with old cars, after the scheduled repairs were done more things started to fail. They've been taking good care of me and my poor exhaust system. Incredibly grateful to these folks.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension replacement

Been going here for years for maintenance, repairs, tires, body work, and even a windshield. They have always done a good job and stand behind their work. Years ago my dad had a coolant leak on his Silverado that his mechanic tried to fix multiple times and failed. I took it over to RJ and they found and repaired the leak in one shot! Just had a full brake job done and man does the Sonata stop nice and smooth and those tires you put on a year ago are great in the snow. I followed the advice of Anish on that one. Thank you my friends! Go EG!!

i m grateful for their patience with my personality and my car. saved me a fair amount of money as well by not gouging prices. if you drive a volkswagen i d recommend them. i ve had terrible luck with dealerships in the past; spending exorbitant money and getting nothing actually fixed. i feel like the staff is honest and kind especially for an auto body shop. thank you and see you all again for this next diagnosis to add: by my personality i mean i m a bit neurotic and i m learning about repairing cars myself so they very gracefully entertain and correct my amateur knowledge without making me feel badly. i appreciate that just as much as the repairs!

Incredible word can t explain how great rolandos really is from the front desk (Rachel) to the mechanics to management just a great place fair prices and good people hope I don t have to come back soon lol but when the time come to come back rolandos is the only place I will go and will recommend to anyone looking for automotive care also have a body shop that s amazing as well!!!

Excellent job on my 2014 Chevy Sonic rear bumper worked with Steve Franklin spoke with him last week Wednesday got me a quote with in a couple hours dropped it off Sunday night they began work Monday and they were done by Tuesday afternoon. Fair price excellent work and a pleasure to work with and great communication! I highly recommend for any body work needs they even detailed the inside of my car and trunk as well!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had all 4 brakes replaced and rotors on my Ram 2500 and wiring fixed for my 4 wheel drive because a rodent got hungry. Extremely happy. They let you know what's wrong. They send you pictures. Reasonably priced. My new go to mechanics. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

These guys...They are my go-to team!I trust them. They've never let us down and they are honest with you. They walked me through a timeline of work for my car to make it affordable, too.Can't speak more highly of them. Bonus: Suburban Towing can put the charge on final car bull with them, so it's just one bill at the end. I love that.

Stopped here yesterday late afternoon in a bit of a panic looking for help with a tire on a vehicle that I was transporting back from an auction for a dealership I work for. One of the front tires kept losing air rapidly and I was about a 2 hr 30 min commute away from my office. I stopped inside and spoke with the lady at the front desk who listened to my situation and was very polite and helpful. She had one of the techs come take a look and they immediately took the car back and changed out a faulty valve stem that was causing the rapid air loss. They were very quick and I felt like they genuinely wanted to help with the issue and get me back on the road. In my almost 8 years in the car business you come across a lot of businesses/ repair shops/ etc. and Rolando's stood out to me with their customer service! Thanks again!Service: Tires

I brought my Lexus in after hearing the brakes grind and noticing that I couldn t accelerate over 40 MPH.The owner was nice enough to meet me 30 minutes prior to opening, because I did have to go to work. I was constantly updated throughout the few days my car was in the shop, and they ended up catching things that needed to be repaired that would ve ended up costing me several hundred, if not thousands of dollars down the line.Rachel was so wonderful to me, and had the BEST customer service skills, she understood my situation, and really helped me a lot.They did an amazing job fixing my car, and I will be returning and recommending them to friends/family.Thank you all so much!Service: Brakes

I've been going to Rolando's for four years now and I've always had positive experiences there. I love that they are owned by a local family. Everyone has always been friendly and honest and I feel like I'm dealing with friends.The first time I went in, it was because I failed the emissions test. They were able to take me right away and fix the problem without costing a fortune. Recently, I brought my poor old mini-van in for a once over, as I knew I had a few problems. They did find the multiple issues, but clearly explained what were safety concerns and should be fixed and what could wait. They understood that I was concerned about price and was prepared to drive the van until its last breath. I appreciated their honesty and willingness to do the most important work but also give me options for the future, all while keeping my safety in mind.I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment and let them know if you are in a hurry. It can sometimes take a bit longer than expected. I will definitely continue to bring any future cars to them. It's worth my peace of mind, even if I may have to wait a bit longer.

Rolamdo's are awesome. Replaced my clutch fan on my F550 in record time from drive in on a saturday morning and at a great great price. Helped with rental amd ride to my hotel. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM ANY DAY AMD TWICE ON SUNDAY.

Wow, Rolando s was referred to me by one of my Uber passengers and my passenger was right! Been driving with an engine light on which would stay lit for some time and go off but would always end up coming back on. Brought my car to Rolando s and they took care of the issue and I got my car back the same day! I will definitely be coming back here for future repairs! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rolando s Care Care, Inc.

Had a weird noise in my brakes... they took a look quickly but couldn't get me in right away. Very thankful that they took a quick look, turns out it was just a pebble next to a shoe... would go back!
