I would never take my car to this business. Very nasty customer service. Mildred in the office has a very nasty attitude and very poor customer service ethic. Gerber has other locations that have great people working in their office but not this location! Do not recommend!

Do not waste your time coming here. I had work completed on my front bumper on May of 2023 only to have mishaps along the way. The worker who completed the work did not do a good job at all, the bumper was misaligned, installed parts the wrong way and left my vehicle worse than I previously had it. I have had wasted a lot of time coming in back and forth at this location only to be told the "the wrong part is in" "The manager isn't in" or "The technician isn't in". I have complained to corporate multiple times only to have the issue still ongoing and honestly no idea where this will lead to.The amount of time I have had wasted along with the patience I have had is unbearable. I will have to report this to my insurance company as this company cannot get the job done correctly along with wasting peoples time and money. Overall, do not waste your time and money because Gerbers will not get the job done.

I needed some work done on my 2015 f150 and didn t want to use my insurance, so I went out and got a couple of estimates but avoided Gerber thinking they would be most expensive. On my way back home I drove by gerber and decided to stop and see what they say. Surprise surprise their quote was lower and they were able to do the job sooner than the others + lifetime warranty on their work. They did a great job on my f150.

My car was involved in an accident. My passenger side was damage. The car was not drivable. Gerber was the only facility that accepted my car. I brought it in for an estimate only and they insisted on keeping it because they didn't think it was safe to drive it back home. They were able to fit my car's repairs into their schedule. They repaired the suspension, and replaced most of the front end. I haven't had any issues. The staff was great. They called or text me each week to give me a status of the repairs and what was left. Our quoted service was very reasonable compared to other places we checked. Work was done in a professional manner and done quickly. Took my Honda Civic here for front windshield and body repair through tan insurance claim. Can t say enough good things about Gerber Collision and Glass and its employees. Clear communication and constant updates, excellent customer service, and fast repairs with no defects whatsoever. Had the right driver side of my 2018 Jeep Wrangler crashed into (minor crash) right before the holidays so I automatically assumed that it would take FOREVER for them to repair my car. Andy and his team did an awesome job with keeping me in the loop on when the parts would be coming in and when it would be repaired. Took less than a week, it was completed much sooner than I anticipated and the process was very easy! Would definitely recommend - thanks guys for your help!

Tire repair was adequate. But not ready as promised. However, negligence left door open and battery drained, requiring vehicle to be 'jumped'. Jumpstart done incorrectly, causing powertrain warning lights to come on. Gerber tech lied about the light (said it was oil change light), lied about putting on diagnostic analyzer before telling me to take it to dealership. Cost me $500 at dealership for full diagnostic as well as three days of second rental car. Gerber tech did not call when he said he would.Service: Tires

I had a stain on the hood of my vehicle, which I tried to remove stain with different chemical products and I ended up making the stain worst! I took my vehicle to Gerber Collision, upon arrival I gained excellent customer service with a gentleman named Chris Reyes. He assured me that he can remove the stain from my hood, thereafter took my car and within 20 minutes the stain was gone! I would definitely recommend Gerber Collision for great customer service and excellent swift service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Trust - Service - Quality. That is what is important to me in a body shop. I need to trust that the job will be done correctly, using quality parts, by highly trained and skilled professionals. I need to feel like the customer service staff and techs care enough to do a good job. Oh - and I need to trust that the paint is gonna match!!! LOLOLI have used Gerber in general for quite a few years now - first the Schaumburg location, then Grand Ave, and now the new location on Elmhurst/York Rd in Elk Grove. They are the preferred service provider for my auto insurance company, so they are a logical choice. Although I have always been very happy with Gerber's quality and service over the years - this new location is a real stand out!My neighbor backed into my Lexus on the street a few weeks ago at home - OUCH! I called my insurance and immediately scheduled to bring the car into this new location as they are now the closest Gerber to where I work.WOW! The guys in this new office are some of the nicest, most helpful customer service folks I have ever dealt with. They quickly arranged everything for me and had the car in the shop within a day or so and done in less than 48 hours!!! I was so impressed with the way they handled my claim, I went back a couple days ago and asked if they could repair my broken door handle which was damaged by a car wash. BOOM - done in 24 hours at a very reasonable price - very fair and better than expected - even without insurance!!! I trust Gerber with my cars - you should too!!! Thank you Gerber!!!...oh - and the bakery next door to this location is AWESOME!!!! :-)

This particular Gerber is the sugar, honey, ice, tea. Darlene, Joe and Lalo are true professionals. This place took 3 before appointments to complete a glass change for the windshield with re calibration. Then I noticed a leak in one corner of the repaired windshield and set an appointment for between 830 and 10 this morning.tge guy showed up at 7 am ringing the doorbell and waking the whole family. Save Yourself a bunch of issues and call safe light.

After seeing negative reviews on Google I was skeptical about bringing my truck in for repairs. When my truck was completed on time it changed my mind and was actually glad to have chosen gerber as my repair shop. Special shoutout to RADEK who took care of me from the start all the way to the end. Excellent customer service, and very good repair with great timing. !!!!! Highly recommend this place.
