They didn't do everything I asked. Expensive and not competent. After these mechanics, I took the car to another workshop. Angry owner Albert. I do not recommend.

I recently had a great experience at this auto shop. I was having some minor issues with my car and decided to bring it in for an oil change and inspection. I was unable to be there during the inspection, but the staff was able to call me and let me know that they found nothing wrong with my vehicle. They even explained that it may just be due to the age of my car, but that it wasn't a cause for concern as long as I kept up with regular maintenance.As a woman, I appreciate the honesty and transparency that this shop provided me. I felt safe bringing my car here and am grateful that they didn't try to sell me any unnecessary repairs or services. The location is also very convenient to my job, which is an added bonus.Overall, I highly recommend this auto shop for anyone looking for a reliable and honest place to take their vehicle for maintenance. I will definitely be returning in the future.Service: Oil change

Well, I was wondering to share or not my last experience with them and decided to do it. My car did not start a few days ago and I checked out the common problems about that. Called Albert for his opinion and he said it could be a problem with the starter. I live 20 miles away from their shop and called one towing company to pick up the car to bring it there. Of course, I paid for it, and when my car was there, I received a call from Albert who screaming at me he won't take the car because the guy from the towing company had a problem with him in the past. I asked Albert how can I know that and what to do in this situation?! His answer was unbelievable: he said I don't care This is a perfect example of a customer orientation attitude and how they treat their loyal customer. I have to mention that I have been using them many times in the last 7-8 years and I recommend them to friends.Now you're trying to wash your hands. You didn't recommend a tow service. Cheap or expensive tow service is not a problem in this situation. The tow guy brought the car in a different shop and they accept my car and fixed it. I didn't know them, but they did a great job. I have not problem spending a few hundred dollars for that but is not fair. You put me in situations that I have no control and choice. The biggest problem for me is your attitude to me and your answer I don't care So, I will stop to waste my time trying to explain my point to you because how you said I don t care . Good luck with your business

Had my bumper replaced and 2 doors repaired after accident. Price was below what I expected, work was done in timely manner and with very good quality. Not sure why people posted negative reviews, everyone was very nice and friendly and service was at very professional level. Personally I will return again if need will arise, and would recommend to others!

I have a great trust in this garage as far as repairs and maintenance of my 4 vehicles. Professional diagnostics provided by owner Mr Albert, saved me a lot of time and money. His mechanics never failed me too. Highly recommended place.

Its a best place to fix your car. Fair price, knowledgeable mechanics. Albert is very passionate ,kind it is always pleasure to have a business. All my cars fixed here. I would recommend everyone to repair cars at Elk Grove automotive!

The best, and only, shop I will ever go to!! Not only did they fix my car but the owner called me to explain exactly what was wrong and what my best options were. They fixed my car with incredible quality and detail, it was even fixed a day sooner than promised. I've never been to a more exceptional shop. Albert the owner is definitely the most honest guy I've met. I'd recommend this shop to anyone!

I was a first time customer and was referred to this company. Customer service was friendly, helpful, and professional. I had a mileage maintenance check done and I appreciate that they listed on the receipt what exactly they did.

Albert was kind from the moment we spoke on the phone. He took the time to listen to my concerns and accepted my car immediately. EGA prices were much lower than any other place I had gone to, even my family mechanic. Albert was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated via text, which allowed me to stay in touch during work hours. I was referred to Elk Grove Automotive and received excellent service. Albert's workmanship and knowledge is outstanding. I would highly recommend him. He is very meticulous and imformative and explained in detail how he is going to repair my car. I had other quotes and he was better than the rest. I would go back!!

I've used EGA's services on multiple occasions. They are very knowledgeable, dependable, courteous and straight forward. I've dealt with multiple dealerships, service stations and mechanics over the years and I only wish I knew these guys sooner. No guessing game - facts only. Exactly what one would expect from experienced professionals. YES - I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I already do.

My power window broke in the down position while visiting my son here (and it was cold and snowy!) Took it to Elk Grove on Saturday morning and they diagnosed the problem and replaced the regulator in a little over an hour. Both the parts and labor were very reasonably priced and it didn't ruin my weekend. Nice people and honest. Highly recommend.

Albert, Damian and the guys at EGA have done a tremendous job on my 2007 350z! From custom fender work, to paint, to an Electrical gremlin that's had my 350z down for roughly 7+ months prior to bringing it here, they were able to successfully get everything done at a reasonable cost. One of the things I enjoyed most was the professionalism, especially in regards to communication- very well at keeping their clients up to date with the status of their vehicle. Thank you!

This place is great! Albert is really nice, very knowledgeable ...Great management. They are not going to fix something if it's not needed . They have great prices and I will definitely be returning for all of my car needs!!

Car broke down as I live out of town was really at the mercy of this repair shop which I had picked off the internet. What good luck for me. Albert and his crew fixed my car at a reasonable cost. What an honest shop. Highly recommend.

I use Elk Grove Automotive for my business vans and personal vehicle repairs. They are always fair and reasonably priced. LOOK NO FURTHER Stopped over at this local diamond in the rough near Schiller Park after a nasty fender bender. Once entered I was greeted in a warm and welcoming manner by a lovely receptionist. Who not only acknowledged and asked the nature of my visit, but was knowledgeable enough to quote me an invoice for my damages. Thereafter I waited no more than 10 minute before speaking with the owner, (yes, not just some random mechanic). Where I was given a timeline and initial assessment of the vehicle. This provided reassurance and a sense of security knowing you are in the hands of dillegent, and humble staff.5 Stars (Highly Recommend)

Amazing mechanic. The owner oversees every car and every repair. They accept appointments so dropping your car off is not a problem. They also offer rentals to clients with longer repairs.

The owner Albert is a great guy and very honest. My wife and I drive 25 minutes just to go to this shop because it's hard to find affordable auto care you can trust.

Ever since I was referred to EGA its the only place I take my personal and work vehicles to. The service is excellent with everything explained up front with no attempt to sell anything unnecessary. Work is done on time with quality parts and at reasonable prices. I Strongly recommend EGA and will use them in the future myself.

After having to deal with multiple insurance claimes involving body work, Elk Grove Automotive is the only place I will leave my vehicle at. The paint matching and level of attention to detail is beyond any other shop I have ever dealt with. Every part was top notch OEM, and even went the extra mile to replace all the original stickers that came under the hood when the car was rolled off the assembly line. Albert and his crew made sure my car was replaced with all original parts, making it look like a brand new car straight out of the dealership showroom.

Great service and top mechanics in the city. Highly recommended to anyone with a small problem to a huge engine rebuilt. They also do great body work and the owner is honest and fair.

I have a Mitsubishi Galant 2001 had a check engine light on and did not pass emission test. I brought my car for the first time to EGA they put the scanner on and the guy told me that it was the ignition or something like that but it my also be the o2 sensor so in my mind i was thinking more than 1,000 dollers to fixed so he came back told me what it was told me the price with labor which was 400 and something fixed it the same day about an hour light off since two weeks passed emissions test. very happy with them ill be taking my car next week for oil change.
