I visited this business early this morning due to a large staple I had lodged in my back tire. The reviews drew me to this location. Upon entering customer service was nonexistent. I explained to the man at the counter of my issue. He came to my vehicle to examine the tire. He tells me it s not something that can be patched and I would need to purchase a new tire. We went back inside. He did some research to be sure he had the tire and tells me the price would be $190 for ONE tire. I thanked him and left. About an hour ago I went to another place of business and was told, no problem. We ll have this ready for you in less than 30 minutes. I made sure to ask, can this be patched? To which I was given the response above. I saved $170. This is a reminder to shop around before you choose the very first place of business just because of their reviews. I would share the name of the person sitting at the desk but as I mentioned in the beginning, customer service was nonexistent.

They were the only ones that had a tire for us, within 20 miles.we ended the staying at the loves truck stop for 3 days.

Unreliable service tried to get a alignment from these guys in separate occasions they tell you to show up and then say their tech is not in or sick i would understand if it happens once but if it happens throughout a 2 week time span thats unreliable.

Blew a tire on the way home from a road trip. These guys took care of me right away for a very fair price. If I lived closer I would definitely come back as a regular for tires.

5 starts don t quite describe how great my experience was. I found a screw in my tire on my way to work, came in without an appointment and was serviced right away. Incredible customer service and I d recommend them to anyone. Definitely a life saver.

Service manager extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Came out to my truck, answered all my questions and provided additional beneficial info. Service guys who worked on my tire issue also friendly and informative. Now I have a tire shop to call if have any issues on the road. Can call them 24 x 7.

The actual work was fine and the tech was polite , but no one on staff is taking the mask mandate seriously. Most of the customers had at least something on or near their faces, but only one of the staff even pretended to care about it and that was after I walked in with a mask on. Half the time he had it just covering his beard.They might be good at what they do, but how you do a thing counts. When you have half your door covered in flyers saying that face coverings are required, but you're not actually following that safety requirement, what other safety standards are you deciding aren't important?

Great customer service provided by Mark. Shawn did an amazing job on fixing my tire. They got me right in. Wait time was less than 15 minutes!! I am grateful these guys are in Elgin!

Pomps saved my life not once but twice ! Ive pulled up with a flat tire on the rim and tbey got me in and out so fast! Very sweet good hearted people i would reccomend them to a million people i would give them 100 stars of i could! Thank you guys for 1)having great fadt service but 2) helping me out with things you didnt even have too you guys a truely a blessing and go the extra mile !

So i previously left a 1 star review for my last visit to pomps tire because it was not a great experience...i am now changing it to a five star review because my very next visit, which was almst a week later ( i was not excited to go , but in fact a blown tire sent me right to them ) ...thank goodness they were there and thank you management for your quick response to my last review..... this visit was 100 percent better , they were fast, all the staff were very friendly and helpful.. this time pomps tire really changed my mind .. thanks again for getting me fixed up pomps!!! Five big stars!!

Did a lift on my suv and they aligned it very well for me. I have to admit i was worried because im paranoid about my vehicle, however these gentleman were fantastic. Picked it up after they were done and it drives straight as an arrow. Thanks guys!

Karma has a funny way of making you answer for your actions wouldn't you know it I've been in to Pomps tires now two times after writing the review" I would rather run on a blown tire then go back to these people" and in my return those two times Terry , Trevor and the mechanics in the back really made me see i was too quick to judge these good hearted hometown folk... a complete 180 from the first time I wrote a review about this place.... those boys over at Pomp's Tire have my buisness for life thanks again terry and trevor !!!

This place is getting too expensive to visit for any tire issues. But, people are nice ! You make your call .
