We had the best experience at Elgin Kia! Mike did a great job of answering all of our questions, had us take a test drive and made sure we were good with everything he was sharing. He took the time to get to know us and our situation to help us pick the best car possible. The process was very easy because of him and we were able to come to agreement quickly.I was also impressed by the showroom, staff and folks I was able to meet while there. Very clean, modern and welcoming for the maintenance our new vehicle may need in the future.We re looking forward sporty new Kia Telluride!

Been working with Jeremy for the last month to buy a carnival. He was attentive to our situation , and helped adjust our purchase to meet our needs. The manager worked with banks to get the best rate he could in the terrible car buying economy. This was the easiest car purchase we have ever made. I think we were with the finance manager for maybe 15 min. Every number matched and it was effortless. Less than two hours to test drive and purchase the vehicle. We will be repeat customers!

I made an appointment for my 2016 Kia Sedona and I had a very bad experience, it was at the dealer for 5 days and the only thing I received were excuses from the mechanical service supervisor, the first time they said we can't check because they don't have any problem and I went on the second day to physically show them the problem then they said we will check it again and wait another 3 days to receive the same response, maybe their mechanics need more training and the supervisor more training too, or maybe in this place they only know how to make money with easy jobs, For example, they change brakes, some headlights and some wipers, but when they really have a big problem with a car, they act crazy and only make stupid excuses.If one day you have a big problem with your car, look for help somewhere else, they only know how to charge money for easy jobs.

I don't normally do this, but I feel like I need to...For those that don't know, I purchased a new Kia K5 last January from Gerald Kia in North Aurora. The sales process there was great. The salesman was great. 0 complaints about Gerald Kia. Little did I know that would be the beginning of the end with my relationship with Kia.Just 6 weeks into my ownership, I started having issues with the electronics pertaining to the safety (lane detection system and crash avoidance system). I brought the car in to Elgin Kia, as that is the closest Kia dealer to me. That was my first mistake. The care was in the shop for 3 MONTHS. During that time, the service manager texted me a picture of my car (pictures attached). This was no longer a new car! I got a phone call saying that the electrical problem was solved, but they were waiting for the hail damage to be fixed. WHAT HAIL DAMAGE? No one ever called me to tell me that my car had suffered hail damage from a storm. Yes, the original reason why I brought the car in was due to a defect in the car, but the customer service in the service department at Elgin Kia was terrible. After I got my car back, I immediately had to bring it back in, as either the steering wheel wasn't put back on right, or it needed an alignment, because to keep the car going straight, I had to keep the wheel turned about 3 degrees to the left! It's evident that no one test drove the car after fixing it, or they could have easily seen and fixed that issue. I finally got my car back, and in working with Kia customer service, the only thing I could get from them was a maintenance plan. That meant I had to either go back to Elgin Kia, or drive 20 miles out of the way to go to another dealer.Through the rest of 2023, things were OK. I still feel it's not quite the same car I had purchased, but it was good enough. I don't expect it to be the same car, based on the state it was in. Then comes January, 2024. I was out at a store, got back in my car and headed home, only to find out that my GPS in the car wasn't tracking with me any longer. I brought the car back in to Elgin Kia yet again. I was told this would be an easy fix, as it was just a computer update. I got a phone call later that day, and instead of "your car is ready", I got "Your car didn't accept the update. We tried 3 times, and now all that's on the screen is the Kia logo." And of course, the new radio they had to order was on back order, so there's another 3+ weeks of me not having my car. I get the car back only to find out that the navigation doesn't work any longer. Again, no one tried out the car after the repairs! Come to find out that in order to use the Navigation in a Kia, you have to pay for their Kia connect service. My 1 year free trial (didn't know I had a free trial) ran out on me while it was in for service.Fast forward to this weekend. The car finally needs it's first oil change. I scheduled the oil change at Elgin Kia for 1:00 this afternoon. At 9:30 this morning, I get a phone call from one of the service advisors telling me that the owner of Elgin Kia no longer wants to do business with me!!!! Apparently, when you get those customer service surveys, they mean something. I was honest on those surveys, so much so that I have rated them a total of 172 points out of 1000 on my last 5 surveys. There is money tied to those surveys, and it is no longer financially viable from the owner of Elgin Kia to do business with me! I was speechless. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told the he probably wouldn't speak with me! I can't even...So, I am DONE with Kia. I am DONE with Elgin Kia, and I strongly encourage everyone with a Kia to avoid this dealership. Rather than addressing the issues they have, they choose to cut ties with the honest customers that have had sub-par experiences. How is that customer service?

My husband and I went in to the dealership we had a wonderful sales person. His name is Rob. He was so informative. He showed us exactly what we wanted to see and nothing else and he was not pushy or arrogant. He was very pleasant to deal with and because he was so good and the price was so right on the Kia forte LXS, we purchased two of them one for me and one for my husband. We are so satisfied with everyone that was involved in the transaction. I cannot say enough about the amazing deals we got, and the service that was excellent. it was a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend Elgin Kia very highly. if I could give them more than five stars, I would do so.

I had the best experience in this location In Elgin Kia after seeing so many locations from the beginning since we entered Sheila welcomed us and her great charisma made us feel very comfortable my wife and I are very satisfied with all the work they did to be able to going out in a new kia forte and we know that we made the best decision in buying a vehicle in this location everyone was very friendly from the saleswoman to the financing I really recommend Elgin Kia and Sheila Nieves

I recently had to take my 2016 Kia Sorento in for service due to an engine tick that turned out to be quite serious. I decided to visit the nearest Kia dealership, which was Kia of Elgin. I admit, I was losing faith in Kia after the issues started popping up, but the service team at Elgin completely changed my perspective. They were thorough, efficient, and really demonstrated that Kia values its customers. The engine fix was handled swiftly, and they kept me updated throughout the process via text, which I greatly appreciated. Although I didn t interact with the sales team, the service staff deserves an A+! I m definitely considering Kia of Elgin for my next car purchase. They ve really restored my trust in Kia.

Last Friday I bought my first 2023 Kia Rio from Elgin Kia. This was a special moment for me as it was the first brand new car I bought. Dinco was super helpful explaining everything to my mom and I. Being able to test drive the car was awesome. I fell in love with it instantly. Carly is an absolute doll. She was really helpful when she explained what my mom and I had to sign for me to get the car. We were in and out of the dealership within 2 hours! Thank you Elgin Kia!

I'm furious about my recent encounter with Elgin Kia. Let me tell you, it was a nightmare from start to finish. These guys have absolutely no respect for their customers' time. I mean, who asks someone to drive 1.5 hours not once, but twice, only to find out the car you wanted is already gone? It's beyond frustrating!And don't even get me started on their sneaky tactics. They slap on a markup of 5 grand like it's no big deal. Do they think we're made of money? It's downright insulting!Then there's Remle, the so-called salesman. His attitude? Rotten to the core. I've never been treated so poorly in all my dealings with dealerships. The guy needs a serious reality check.And let's talk about false advertising. They lure you in with these tempting rates on their website, but when you show up, it's a whole different story. Talk about shady business practices!I should've listened to those negative reviews online. Every single one of them was spot on. Elgin Kia doesn't give a damn about their customers, and it's time someone called them out on it. Kia US needs to step up and clean house.I'm done with Elgin Kia, and honestly, I'm done with Kia altogether. I refuse to support a company that treats people like dirt.

Boy do I have a story for you. I have had one of the wrongest days of my life. So let me begin by telling you how John in the service department turned my day around. I live in Minnesota, and I purchased my vehicle from this location. I had a situation with my vehicle that caused my car to consume more oil than it should have, I was told that I need to complete an oil consumption test which I did here in Minnesota. Once I completed the oil test which the car failed. The Kia dealership here in minnesota wanted to charge me additional $900 even though the car failed the first test. I reach out to my sales representative Mike G who is also my brother and he was able to speak to the service team which included John Thomas. My Kia location refuse to help me so my sale representative Mike G asked if I can bring the car to him which I agreed. So I tried to meet him in Wisconsin Dells which was unsuccessful. My youngest daughter and I was stranded for over 2 hours because the vehicle dashboard was giving me warnings about the engine and it was speaking that the car needs to be service immediately. So I reached out to Mike G and he was able to come to where I was parked. Mike was able to give me his vehicle so that my daughter and I could make back to Minnesota safely. With worries I wasn t able to sleep until I knew he was safely back in Illinois. Upon him making it to his dealership the service team was able to assess the situation and with no hiccups John and his team was able to replace my engine with the approval of Kia. John always kept Mike G update with the update of my car. On the 6th of December I received a call from Mike G telling me that my car was ready and that he will travel out here to Minnesota to give me back my vehicle. On the 7th I noticed that on the floor of my garage was green liquid which I found out that it was antifreeze so I immediately called Mike to let him know of these findings. He informed John about the findings and John told Mike that it has to be somewhat a screw loose. I told Mike that I will just take it to my local Kia. Mike reminded me that I had a lifetime warranty on the engine and that I shouldn t pay anything out of pocket. I know that I am long winded but I wanted you guys to know about the AMAZING service that I received from this location. Thanks John T and Mike G.

Had my first time buying a car here at Elgin Kia and it was a great experience! Jordy was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job in trying to get me the best deal; from getting the most out of my trade-in, to setting me up promptly to have a hitch installed on my new Telluride, which was also included in the deal! The entire process felt quick and easy with no pressure whatsoever. I would definitely come back to buy another car someday!

I had an exceptional experience purchasing my new Sportage from Elgin Kia. I went out of my way to go to this Kia dealership even though I have several other Kia dealerships much closer to me because of the reputation I heard they have -- and they lived up to it! Reanne and Jesus were both wonderful sales associates to work with and were very helpful and patient with me through all of my many questions and made sure I fully understood all aspects of the vehicle. I never felt pressured a single time and they were extremely fair in the price negotiation. The dealership is brand new and a beautiful facility! Very modern, clean and nice amenities. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone considering not only a Kia, but looking to service their vehicle or for a used car. Buying a new car can be daunting and cumbersome, but this was a 10/10 experience and I will be sending all of my friends and family there!

Just bought a 2023 Kia Sorento X-Line EX. Worked with Jordy Sanchez and had an extremely well experience. He cut straight to the chase and explained everything with no hidden fees. He worked with us on getting our vehicle within our price range. Aside from being fast and efficient, he was easy to understand and well spoken with a very welcoming personality. Overall, great experience with this sales consultant and dealership in general.

Ozzie was my sales consultant and was amazing throughout the process. Listened to what I was looking for, explained everything very well on our test drives, and made things super simple with my trade in. Due to this I purchased my first new car and couldn't be more happy with everything. Had a great experience Buying a 2024 Kia Forte GT with Oscar!! Oscar made things simple, listened to what I had to say and provided his expertise. I was dropping off my daughter for her to finalize paperwork and drive her new car home from Elgin Kia, Randall Rd. She had been there twice driving an hour commute to get there the first time with her kids and husband. The price of the 2022 car was negotiated for the sale, and gap insurance added that she explicitly said they didn't want, and an extended warranty of over $2600 was "part of the deal" because she had a smaller down payment. I advised her not to finance that large amount over a 5 year term including the interest that would accumulate with it. When she inquired what it would be without that, they then said the "GM" advised not to sell the car to her and her husband, because she would probably cancel the warranty after the purchase and the profit margin was small. They weren't "comfortable" selling it to her for just asking the question. Also told her the "bank" wouldn't finance it without the warranty. What??!! They wanted a bigger down payment or she couldn't have the car.They actually let us leave with NOTHING after 4 hours there! A promise of a call the next morning by Lovell (sp?) if they would actually agree to sell it to her which would be a 3rd trip. I checked with her, she got no such call. What HORRIBLE, demeaning treatment and experience. Run from this dealership.

The service department was quick to help me with my issue, was very friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure that when I left, not only that my issue was resolved, but that I was happy with the service. Been a kia buyer for over 8 years 7 cars in and I have never been treated the way so was today. Called today to receive GAP paperwork and was treated with the upmost disrespect. I can t remember who I spoke with but I honestly can t believe the way I was treated. Was told I had to email someone for my documents but called the week before and spoke with Ozzy our salesman and was told that he could have the secretary print them. After spending money and o my getting service with them you would think they would treat their customers with more respect but absolutely not. I have raved about this kia but will never recommend them ever again. I have to drive almost two hours to receive documents that I am entitled to and was told there is no one in finance or a supervisor to help me with this problem as if finance and supervising stop on a Monday? Simply rude and u professional car was lost in an accident front half caught on fire no way to access documents. After spending $65000 on a car you would think them spending less that $1.00 on paper wouldn t be a big deal but I guess I was wrong. Will only SHOP AT SOUTHLAKE KIA! Absolutely disgusting the way I was treated. After my trip on Thursday I will never return nor will I ever recommend anyone to come there. May not seem like much but when you get complements on the cars you drive a reference goes a long way and they will not receive another one from me ever again.

Bought a CPO Kia Forte from these guys in jan 2022 at the peak of car mania. Deal wasn't good, but that's just what the market was at the time. The salesman Anthony told us that they were having trouble finding the 2nd key for the car and they would either find it and let me know, or get a new one cut at no cost. Well I should have got that in writing because that was a total lie. They started screening my calls once I started asking about the key. Never did get it made for me.Fast forward a year and the car is in an accident and wrecked. I call to get my GAP and warranty prorated and refunded because I obviously don't need them any more. They could not have been less helpful. Gave me the runaround for over a month on getting "someone who could help me with that would give me a call back" and started screening my calls again until I called from a blocked number and threatened with legal action if they didn't cancel it there on the spot, after which it took them all of 10 seconds to do it.Seems like the salespeople are actively trained in deceptive practices and screening calls to avoid helping customers get things they are due.

I recently located a car I had been searching, for months to find. I called the dealership and Reanne took my call and walked me though the process of buying my Bronco Sport even though I live several states away. I flew to Chicago 2 weeks ago to get my new car and Reanne was available to answer all questions and even give me tourist advice. Not to mention she picked me up from the train station and drove me to the dealership on Monday morning. A+ service all around! And I love my new car!
