Elgin Crash Champions are best of the best. Very informative individuals that work there. Israel was a really big help, excellent customer service. Updated details on the vehicle multiple times throughout the week since May. They ended up replacing my bumper and wheel after an accident. (They even fixed my fog lights that never worked) Keep up the great work. Would highly recommend them, Israel keep up the great work! Car looks A1, brand new!

Will not recommend. The customer service is the best but the people who do the work sucks. My bumper was not attached correctly and my front camera was just ripped out and not fixed. They did give me a new camera after going back. On top of all that the bumper paint job has a lot of trash and orange peel. It s like they painted it in the dark. The strips are different. The original ones are gloss and they placed matte ones. In the pics you can see the trash in the paint the camera picked up. In the daylight if you get close you can see the trash covered by clear coat. I hope this does not start to peel over time cause I do not want to work with them again.

My toddler was admitted to the hospital a few days after thanksgiving due to surgery complications. I had 4 other kids at home and my husband and I were like ships passing in the night. I got to my van one afternoon for my turn at home and found it had been struck in the hospital parking lot. No note. Cameras pointed the opposite direction. Now what ?My insurance instructed me to take the van to CC. The following morning I asked a friend to follow me so I could be dropped off at the car rental afterward. I arrived and was greeted very kindly by Dara but could tell they were swamped. Holiday backup and ice storm accidents galore. She asked me to wait until someone could come look at the car and offered me coffee in the lounge. Overwhelmed and stressed, I blurted out that my daughter was in the hospital and I couldn t wait, I had to get back to her, please just take my keys and call me later. A guy (Israel) immediately stood up, stopped what he was doing, and asked me to show him the car. He took the time to ask about my daughter, what happened, and if I was okay. He listened calmly while I rattled off all my problems and worries and frustrations. When he realized the car wasn t safe to drive, he helped me collect my things and called Hertz down the road asking them to prepare a van for me so I could get back to my daughter asap. He stayed with me, filled everything out with me, kept me calm, and even called later in the day to check in on my daughter. Hertz had the van ready and warmed up for me because of his call.I also had the pleasure of working with John who was just as kind, opening the door after hours when I was late to pickup. When a part was back ordered and I ran out of time on my rental agreement, Israel and John lent me an SUV that fit my large family at no extra cost. This company went above and beyond for me and my family. I am so thankful to know good people still exist. My car looks brand new. Hopefully I won t need them again myself, but if I do, I ll definitely be back.

There was an argument about singing the papers before I had the estimate. The lady at the front desk was very nice and the work done was amazing. I couldn't even tell there was a difference

Easy process! Come in and dropped the car off, got my rental next door. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. When the car was finished it looked amazing and we were very happy. The shop is super clean and very professional. Hands down one of the better places I ve been too

I went for an inspection and had my car looked by sir, Fonseca. He was very helpful, informative, and paid attention to small details on my car. Awesome service! Front desk staff was very welcoming too.

I was honestly speechless when I saw how beautifully you fixed my car! It looks brand new again and I am beyond happy! You guys are great! My car was done 1 day faster than expected and I received updates every day about what was going on with it in the shop. And I was so worried about the paint color too but you matched it perfectly. I m so glad I picked to come here with my car because I don t think I would have gotten the same service somewhere else. And they give a lifetime warranty which just shows that they stand by their work. I highly recommend Crash Champions to anyone looking to fix their car after an accident. I appreciate everything, and everyone that worked with me, so much.

Staff are really nice! In other places they used to take more than 2 or 3 weeks to fix my car, but crash champions really surprised me by how fast they fixed it, in less than a week it was ready. My car is like new !

I am very pleased with my repair. When dealing with body shops in the past there's always a problem, major or minor. Not at Crash Champions. From scheduling to pick up it went smoothly. Great job everyone!

From the moment I walked into this location everyone from the front desk to the technician was so nice and helpful. They left my car looking brand new like nothing had ever happened. Bring your car here if you want it done right the 1st time.

Crash champions Elgin location has Wonderful service and all staff members are very friendly greet and welcome you very nicely. Reception lady was so nice love her smile always smiling , also Israel is wonderful person very lively humble and very professional . I definitely recommend my family and friends about this location

Everything went according to plan. From scheduling to pick up. The work looks great with no flaws. I've delt with body shops in the past and it's one hassle after another. Not at CCCR.

WORST EXPERIENCE, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CHOOSE CRASH CHAMPIONS TO DO YOUR REPAIRS:I had hail damage to my car and chose Crash Champions to do the repairs. The day I was supposed to pick up the car, Eric called me to tell me they they received the wrong windshield so I wasn't able to pick up my car. The next week Eric called me to say my car was finished. When I went to pick it up, I found black smudge marks all over the headliner, the cover to the windshield camera was in the cup holder, the light in the backseat was loose and the panels in the back were damaged from when they removed the headliner. When I spoke to Eric he was constantly interrupting me, very unprofessional. I then spoke to John the manager and he was rude, very poor customer service. I had to bring my car back for the damage they did to my car which was very inconvenient and I should have never had to bring my car back, they were supposed to repair my car not cause further damage. They gave me their loaner car which was to say the least disgustingly filthy, balled tires and I had to drive with the headlights on bright as something was wrong with the regular light, very unsafe and unbelievable that they would give any customer a car in this condition. When I went to pick the car up John was very flippant, I looked the car over and found stains on the headliner, I'm assuming it was from something they used to clean the black smudge marks off and he asked me if I wanted him to wipe it off and I told him I didn't want him to touch my car anymore. Now I have to call my insurance company because of stains. The only nice and professional person there was Dara at the front desk.

I m disappointed and disgusted with the rudeness from the employees to me and my family. I haven t never seen a business so bad and rude to their customers. I will never ever bring my car or family cars here. They were upset I decided to take my car somewhere else and they stepped on my hood and took my car handle and driver mirror when it had nothing to due with the collision and said I was happy with what they left my car as which is funny I wasn t. I was disgusted I even thought of bringing it here.

Wonderful staff and facility to work with. What a pleasure! Accurate estimate, on-time repairs, fully informed the entire time, beautiful job done. Perfect! Hopefully it will be unnecessary, but absolutely would go back for other repairs.

This is the second time I ve taken a vehicle to Crash Champions aka Hy-Tech Car Star. They have done excellent work on my vehicles. Their service is professional and fast. The staff are very kind and considerate-I felt valued as a customer.

I usually don t take time to do reviews but I choose Crash Champions because of their excellent reviews and they didn t disappoint. From top notch customer service and professionalism from their entire staff, car was ready on exact estimated date and which I received frequent updates throughout the entire process. Day I received my car (which had front end damage) came looking like it was being driven off the showroom and mechanically sound with no issues. I definitely recommend this place if you re under the unfortunate circumstance of being in a car accident and in need of repairs. They took 2 weeks to replace a headlight and brake light but did a good job I dunno htf u mess that up cars gonna be totalled by new year guarantee it but ty for fixing it.

We had other options closer to our home, but came here because they are a preferred location by our insurance company. After our first (hopefully last) experience with an accident they made everything so easy for us. They honestly went ABOVE and BEYOND. Mike really took care of us and made us feel taken care of. We were kept in the loop as far as the progress on our car. Finished half day earlier than expected. I mean what else can i say about them! I work in the customer service industry and they treated me the way i treat my customers (respect and honesty) I highly recommend them. Great job guys. Everyone from the front desk to the garage.

#1 Bodyshop where both customer experiance and quality repairs are their number one prority. What damage!?!?This is the second time I've had my car repaired at Crash Championships (both times, someone ran into me) and, it's the best auto body shop in town! I appreciate how they kept in touch with updates through texts. The people are very friendly. I truly recommend #CrashChampions!... for all your auto body needs.FANTABULOUS work!!

My car was parked at a restaurant when it was hit by someone backing out of their own spot. The mirror was so bent in and broken it would not fold back out. The front passenger door panel was slightly dented and badly scuffed. Luckily the people who hit my car waited for me to come out of the restaurant to provide me with their insurance for the claim and repair. Called the insurance company, Allstate within a half an hour of the damage to file a claim. Allstate recommended Crash Champions in Elgin for the repair. This happened on a Saturday and Crash Champions called me Sunday to get me scheduled. They would have gotten me in that Monday but I was busy so they scheduled me for Tuesday. Mike at Crash Champions helped me out... was an extremely easy process. Took the car from me early Tuesday morning and got it back Thursday... initially he thought Friday but was able to be done in two days! So easy to deal with and they worked with Allstate to get paid directly. Beautiful panel work... would never know the car was hit. Mirror back to excellent condition. Great service. Update 03-20-2024Another *very* satisfactory experience. Again, many thanks to Israel and the whole team!Friendly, professional, skilled, and priced fairly. They're more like a partner & guide in the process, rather than just a vendor. Thorough in communications without being chaotic or overwhelming. We've used them on 2 different vehicles within 1 year (one a 2012, another brand new...sigh). We would certainly use them again if the need arose.
