Highly highly highly recommend Casey s. I can trust them 100% as they are always honest and will NOT rip me off. I always take my car here and will always recommend them to anyone. Truly a gem.

I have come to Casey s for almost 20years and my father for 30. Over the years we have many issues repaired and always feel they have been honest and upfront with us. They have done a great job from my experiences in that twenty years and my fathers 30years. I have brought my last 3 cars to Casey. I was lucky to have family who could help me know what is wrong. My family moved to South Carolina. I appreciate that Casey always did exactly what I was told I needed and trust they will continue to do so. They recently did some service on my car and went above and beyond! Darin, Joe, Kevin and the rest of the crew are true professionals... They do all my repairs and would not go anywhere else! Honesty, Knowledgeable, Efficient are some of the words I would use to describe Casey Automotive. Try them and i promise you will be a customer for life just like me. My Honda Pot now has 275,000 miles and still going strong thanks to the Casey automotive crew! They just did some work on my wife s van this week and as always, superior customer experience. When is the last time you get an estimate from an auto repair shop and they actually charge you less? If you need service go check them out.

On our way home from vacation, our engine light had come on and our car showed serious signs of distress. It was late so we had to wait until morning to find an open shop. We contacted Casey Automotive because they had the best reviews in the area and they were able to get us in first thing in the morning. Within an hour, they were able to diagnose the problem, fix it and get us back on the road. So grateful for their help and appreciate their ability to get us in and out so quickly! I highly recommend them!

I go to Casey Auto every time I need an oil change. Joe is very helpful and keeps me up to date on how long my car will take to get done. Any car that needs repair that is out of warranty I take over to them, they can be trusted with letting me know what has to be done now vs. what I can wait on. I always appreciate that. I highly recommend using them!

They overcharge heavily. Kinda rude old guy in the front. It is what it is, their mechanics.Edit: they can't take criticism about their company. Rather then listen to a customer and focus on customer support and honest pricing they worry about telling customer they are wrong. I went right down the road and payed 200 less then quoted and they repaired my calipers rather then just wanting to replace them and pocket the core. Shop around or skip this place.

The brake work was fine; however, two months later I attempted to rotate my tires and Casey s had tightened the lug nuts so tight it was as if they fused the steel. The lug nuts in front that they didn t touch were removed easily. I went to the shop and asked them to please loosen the lug nuts as I had no compressor and they had caused the problem. The manager told me to make an appointment in two weeks as they were booked and I would be charged. I have four cars and lots of work and I am not going back. Also, I am a physician and I would refer people to Caseys, not any more. Great customer service guys!

I highly recommend these guys. I've been bringing them my vehicles for years and have never had a bad experience. Their work is top notch, and they always go outta their way to repair the issue at hand while also informing you of any others. Clean work, clean shop, personable guys and decent prices.... I've never even considered going any place else. And they always get the job done quickly. My vehicles run and ride better each time they leave that garage. Real pros!

Thanks for a great experience. The service quick. I had a last minute break job and I was able to get the job done within a very short time frame. The price was super reasonable and really appreciate not being gouged like other shops I reached out to.I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great auto shop at a reasonable price.

I highly recommend Casey s Automotive Joe and Kevin were so great to work with and are truly a professional team to work with. I brought my car to them for a second opinion on a repair that my Jeep needed. They came back and said the repair the other shop was saying wasn t necessary and explained what the issue was, and that it was still covered under my warranty. Joe even called the Chrysler dealership for me to get me in that same day! These guys are so fair and care about their customers to make sure I was taken care of. I will not take my cars anywhere else because I know I can trust these guys to make sure my car is taken care of.I wouldn t highly recommend them and I promise you will be a customer for life just like me. Since moving to Elgin, I have used Casey Automotive several times when experiencing problems with my 2013 Volkswagen Routan. I have had great customer service with each and every visit. Today my service was EXCEPTIONAL! My Brake Light went on while driving home from a class. I arrived at Casey Automotive mid-afternoon without any appointment and my vehicle was taken into the auto-bay area immediately for inspection. The technician found a leaky right-rear brake caliper and recommended that I check to see if the caliper was still under warranty as I had some work done previously at another automotive facility. As it turned out, that caliper WAS under warranty and I will have the caliper replaced at the facility where the original brake work was done. Casey staff added brake fluid at no charge and sent me on my way. I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have a shop like Casey Automotive right in my neighborhood! I will be back for ANY and ALL work that my 2013 Routan needs. I have so much respect for the staff at Casey Automotive and hope that you will trust the care of your vehicle to them. Thank you, Casey Automotive for your professionalism and AWESOME Customer Care!!

By far the best shop I've ever used. My Lexus has 173k miles on it. Needed new brakes, exhaust, alternator and A/C... finished in less then 6 hrs, picked me up at the train station (the owner Darin did it himself), and the price was beyond fair. Every guy in the shop looked like they were in a pit crew and you could eat office the floor. If you don't get an estimate there, you are running the risk of getting second rate work. These guys blew me away!!!

Called 3 Casey's and this was the only one who said yes to come in and we can look at your car an hour before they close. Very nice guy (sorry I for got his name) I stopped going to Casey's after everytime they did something to upset me but after going to this location...I know I can count on someone. Thank you guys. Every one depends on their vehicles so it should be treated with respect as they are not cheap. I always say...it all depends on who you get and talk to.

Took my car here it has 250kMiles. They tuned it up and did not cost me alot. Very good.Update....on last repair. Downgraded my review. The power steeering line they installed was installed wrong near oil pump and its sowly burnt a hole in the line. Its a high pressure system and must be done right.So I had to repair again at midas. I dont have time to do repairs myself, I want to trust someone. I had my suspicions and I just expect job to be done right. I did not pressure them on time and was patient. Be careful. AS Iam spending more for same job. And out of town so had no choice.Service: Steering & suspension repair

We used to got to Casey's for multiple repair jobs because we trusted them. Haven't been there in a couple years, but they were always very fair and honest. Took a family friend's car to have the brakes looked at because it was due for new ones. They gave us an estimate for work that did NOT need to be done. $430 for new calipers (they said were frozen) and $170 to replace 3 dried up belts. Plus $40 new wiper blades, which are in good shape and overdue for an oil change ( which was just done 1500 miles prior). I questioned their quote, and took the car to a friend who is a mechanic. The calipers are good and the belts are in great condition. Sad to lose another auto repair shop due to dishonesty. Did they try to scam me out of $600 because we told them the car had been sitting for a few months? Could it have been because I went in there without my husband? Just cuz I'm not male, doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars or how not to get ripped off. Casey's will never get my business again and none from my friends and family. Such a shame.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I took my truck here for a second opinion. A dealer had recommended I get an oil leak fixed asap for $1300. Even though it was busy and I didnt have an appointment, Darren squeezed me in within the hour and inspected the leak. He told me that the slight leak (main rear seal) wasn't critical and recommended just keeping an eye on it, because the type of leak was just seepage without puddling and could sometimes go forever without being an issue (the dealer gave me a totally different impression!) His professionalism and honesty was truly refreshing. I drove 50 miles round trip to get his opinion, and will definitely go back to this trustworthy shop to have him check it out again and even for basic maintenance. I'll be recommending this Caseys to everyone.

We've been going here for car repairs and general automotive maintenance since we moved out here in 2003 and they are the best.They're knowledgeable, fast, honest and very reasonable on price. I got 270,000 miles out of my last vehicle with their help. Anyone looking for a great mechanic in the Elgin area these are your guys.

To put it simply, these guys have always been able to help out in one way or another. To the best of the knowledge of anyone I know if that has gone there, they have always been completely honest with the customers, even when that might mean losing a bit of money. They've never been afraid to state what they can and cannot do well, and have always been able to recommend other excellent places to do work they can't do. On top of that, they always work quickly and have reasonable rates for every service they've ever provided for me. These are the guys I will always go to first for any sort of automotive trouble.

I've taken all my cars to Darin, Joe and team at Casey Automotive for years to be serviced. Oil changes and routine maintenance to complex engine work, they do it all. The staff is skilled, friendly, and prompt while taking care of your car. Another plus - within close walking distance to several restaurants if you need to wait for your repair.

I have brought my family cars to Casey s and have had work done including tires, brakes, fuel pump, wheel bearings and even for vehicle inspections on used trucks as I searched for a 3rd family vehicle. Casey Automotive has been very professional, personal, dependable and affordable each time. I completely trust this business with all 3 of my vehicles and would strongly recommend this place!

Stopped in on no notice, with thoughts that I was having serious break issues.While it wasn't a busy day, I was still accepted right away and my car was looked at, diagnosed, and I was called back to pick up my car, all in the time it took me to walk across the street to grab lunch at McDonald's.I think I was working with Joe, if I recall, and when I got back he quickly set my mind at ease that everything was working normally. He took the time to explain why my brakes were making the noise that concerned me, and briefly chatted about options should the sound not go away on its own.All-in-all I'm very happy with this first-time encounter, and can say that I feel the other 5 star reviews are justified.I will absolutely be back when I ACTUALLY need work done.

My car was making a strange noise and found out that I have an issue with oil consumption. My car was not due for an oil change for another 100 miles. They instructed me to check it every 500 miles and contact the car maker to determine if their is an issue with my make/model. They are SO helpful.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I wouldnt even consider taking my car anywhere else. These guys are amazing and do great service. Ive taken all my vehicle's here and have never had an issue. All the guys are be very knowledgeable and and give it to yoy straight. Very fair, very good pricing with options on most parts for the original or aftermarket. Would recommend they to everyone!

Took my car to Firestone, they wanted $3100 and made it sound like my car would fall apart! I't's a nice car and well taken care of! Took it to Casey's, it cost less then $800, it wouldn't cost $140, but I bought new tires too. The service was so good, that I took another vehicle in. It's an old truck we use in the summer. They told me straight up what was wrong with it, what needed to be fixed now and what could wait. So GREAT! I won't be going anywhere else.

Joe the manager was great. He not only looked at the car for free he then showed me what was wrong and how it was going to be fixed. When there was a question about a repair at the time of the quote he lifted the car again to make sure that we both were talking about the same thing (He was right and it was fine.) I felt they were very honest about what needed to be fixed. The car has 140k on it and needed front end, struts and shocks. He found a problem with the exhaust I didnt know about and showed my why and what they could do to fix it. The quote was $1000 less than other shops. He had to order parts and when he asked for the deposit of $400 I offered to pay in full at that time and Joe said that we only take a deposit and payment in full when work is complete and you are happy with what was done. The quote was Tuesday, The parts came Weds and my car was 100% done by noon on thursday. And the best part.....Free T-Shirt.

Casey Automotive is one of the best places to take your vehicle. They are honest and actually act as if they were working on their own car. We had a major A/C issue on our van. They had to check it out a few times. The van had leaks in a few different places. It became very expensive and they did help us out as much as they could.
