We have used Jorge for several jobs on a couple different cars and have found him to be kind, honest, and knowledgeable. He took time to explain what was going on with the vehicles and got the jobs done in a timely manner. He was also willing to take on a larger job that another local place was unwilling to do and did a fantastic job. Eric and his team are a true blessing to my family and my friends. Best work I have ever had. Best price too. He is honest and reliable. I drive all the way from lake Geneva to have him work on our vehicles. I recommend Buckley Automotive to anyone who wants truth and a quick turnaround. Eric Buckley is the most knowledgeable expert in his field. His customer service skills, on a scale of1-10 would be a 12! I have never met anyone who is as concerned for the customer and their well being as Eric. He goes the extra mile constantly! He is so honest, and the work he provides is the highest quality. I have recommended him to everyone I know, and will continue to do so. His prices are more than fair, and you can depend on him for all your automotive needs. It's like finding a great doctor... one whom you can fully trust... you'll never go anywhere else. I'm so grateful for his kindness, his expertise, and his matchless service.

Best mechanic I ve been to. Was recommended by a friend and will not go anywhere else. Eric is very relational, as well as professional. I would give him an A+ for his customer service skills. Buckley Auto has been servicing my cars for several years now, and I can say that they have always treated me well, the price is fair, and they have a quick turnaround. I took a road trip from Wisconsin to Tennessee yesterday and my check engine light lit up. I called Buckley Auto and they did a diagnostic check which came back inconclusive. The mechanic then took a test drive with me to listen to the engine and feel the transmission out. They were so friendly and had me cracking up at jokes the whole drive! He then had the integrity to tell me honestly that there wasn t a major issue and it was safe to drive, instead of charging me to open up the engine. If you re a local or happen to have a problem while driving nearby, like I did, definitely have Buckley Auto take a look! I recommend this business for the employees honesty and timeliness as well as their great sense of humor!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Erick Buckley and Buckley Auto is a blessing to any person who needs work done on their car. This is the most professional, most affordable car care service I have EVER received. Erik is kind, attentive, an expert in his field, and treats you like family. He will have my business as long as I live in the Chicago area, and I have and will recommend Buckley Auto to every person I meet that needs car work done. I soooooo love the service I received from Buckley Auto yesterday. Eric was quick with the job, and very friendly. I was stressing because my car went out and staying in Carpentersville the way the bus schedule is and the temperatures combined was not a good method for me to attempt to go. I was referred to this location from a former coworker and took my chances and was ecstatic that I did. I had my car towed and the AAA man said it was the alternator, when it made it to Buckley, he confirmed it was the alternator. And the job was a reasonable price to get it done and quick and I picked it up and was so happy. I would definitely recommend taking your business here!!

I had heard mixed reviews about Buckley Auto from friends, but I decided to give them a chance. My wife spoke to Eric about our car's problem and Eric said it was a small fix. However, our car was undrivable and would need to be towed from Algonquin to his place in Elgin making the towing cost alone not worth it. To my surprise, Eric said he would come to our house on his way to work in a couple of days and only charge me $50 extra for this service. Great, or so I thought. Two days later when he didn't show up we called him and he said he would come by after work that evening. Well, he didn't show up that evening, didn't even call. So we called him the next day. Again, he said he would be by our house after work in a couple of days to fix the problem. Two days later again he doesn't show up, doesn't call. Once again we call him and he tells us he'll come by the next day, Saturday, around noon. Noon comes and goes and Eric is still a no-show. Again, we call him and he says he's running behind and will be over at 4 PM. At 5:30 PM he still hadn't shown up and hadn't even called. When my wife called him he said he was too busy to come out and fix the car and I would have to tow it to him. How ridiculous Eric! You strung us along for almost a week with your broken promises and never apologized. In the meantime, we had to get by with borrowing cars and getting rides that whole week from friends and family. Stay away from people like this who don't keep there word. Some advice to you Eric...let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.Service: Engine repair

Very amiable mechanic that went ahead and showed the problems in the car instead of just telling me so that I can identify it in the future. Also pointed out another area but said it wasnt a serious concern but something i want to watch for (he doesnt try to upsell me on services that arent an immediate concern but does let me know they exist)Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Almost 3 mechanics messed up with my Mercedes Benz, Buckley Auto was the only mechanic to do a perfect job for a reasonable price. Eric is just a discipline guy and able to tell you what is god and bad no sugar coating words to deceive

Very nice and honest mechanic! Extremely affordable! Great guy and puts his heart and soul into the work he does for his customers. This Eric guy has no customer service skillset. he was rude and had a temper. I am not sure what triggered his attitude, but i will continue to take my business elsewhere. I do not recommend this shop.
