First spoke with this guy about an electrical issue with my RV, sent him the wiring schematics and told him I need it fixed ASAP because I was trying to sell it. He told me he would come to my house and diagnose the issue and get it fixed for me. Came to my house, looked at the RV and told me he had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done to resolve the issue. Never showed back up. I proceeded to call him 4 TIMES over a period of a month, never heard a single thing back from him. My buyer backed out (as anyone would) and the RV is put up in storage for the winter. When spring rolls around I am going to take it elsewhere and have it fixed, not even going to waste my time calling this guy every again. Thanks for nothing!Service: Electrical

We were headed out for a 2 week vacation on July 3. Blew a tire on our camper and it ripped out the wheel well and a bunch of wiring before we could get pulled off. Chad met us at a gas station on the 4th of July! He needed to keep it a day because the damage was extensive, but he let us leave it at a family member s house, and we picked it up at a tire shop when it was done! They all had us back on the road in 2 days! We can t sing louder praises for the service we received. If you need any repairs, call Chad!Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

We pulled into the Tin Cup RV Park in Mahomet on very cold afternoon and, after finishing set up, discovered the furnace wouldn t turn on. When we called Chad, due to the cold temps, his intentions were to try and juggle his work load to be able to get to us that same evening! Since we had a space heater to get us through the night, and knowing it would mean a very late call for him, we told him we d be okay until the following morning. He showed up when expected, identified the cause of the problem, had the needed part on his truck and stuck around after the repair to let the furnace cycle on and off several times to ensure all was good before he left. This guy is a godsend to the RV community!

We have a couple bent front stabilizers. Don't ask... They are lightweight and I want better equipment.Our Casey KOA campground (Great place!) referred me to Chad. He answered right away and advised us where to go to get the beefier stabilizers. He could order them but it would take 2 days and we're moving on.I would definitely use Chad to fix our next issue!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Called late on a Friday heading to Southern Illinois for a family emergency and had a bedroom slideout malfunction, mentioned he may have time late Saturday to drive 2 hours south but probably Sunday if we were available and willing to pay travel time. He indeed followed up early Sunday confirming we were still in need and he showed up to fix our cable slide out system and then even hung around and installed a 3rd AC I had in the box at the ready. Everything was done with competence and even with paying the travel time the price paid was comparable to Metro ATL scheduled service prices for the scope of work. Won't hesitate to call again if in his area for a repair or project. Thank you!Services: Transmission, Body & Trim

While staying at the Lake Sara Campground for a couple of days, we were in need of an RV technician. Zach at the campground recommended Chad West and we are so glad he did. Chad was able to diagnose the issue with the valves on our RV and implement a great solution. He was responsive, prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. We highly recommend him and would use him again if needed while in the Effingham area.

Make sure you are clear on his service call price. He charged me a service call to come out and another to go back home. He said he has to be paid to drive home also. I called him about a broken heater. I gave him the exact address of the trailer and asked him his rates. He said it was $125 service call plus $75 an hour plus parts. I said OK. He came out and fixed the heater. He charged me $143 for the heater control board, $75 for an hour labor and then $247.50 for the service call. I said you told me it was $125 on the phone.He said it was the drive time to my trailer and back. I said but that's not what you quoted me, plus a plumber doesn't charge a service call to come to your house and another to drive back to the shop. I paid it but will not use him again. I have met a few RV Repair guys that are honest, but more and more of these guys act like they are straight from Craigslist. Lesson learned, next time I ask "How many service calls will you be charging me for this single trip?"

Chad was extremely informative when we called about a fiberglass crack in our camper from hitting a tree in the campground. He kindly explained our options and recommendations though we didnt use his business.

Our propane went out when we were camping at a local campground. Chad came out within 20 minutes of our call, diagnosed the problem, went and got needed parts, and fixed the system, so that we were off in an hour and a half. Very kind and competent person!

We had no right turn signal or brake light on our 5th wheel. Called this business as we traveled on route 70 west. The owner met us at the flying J gas station. Got us fixed and on our way. We traveled to Turkey Run in October and when we tried to head back to Michigan our pop up would not go down. It was a Sunday and there were no shops nearby. After finding everyone closed . I was googling shops and had no idea this repair shop was hours away. The man on the phone talked to my husband on the phone and had us text pictures of the motor on our pop up.My husband was immediately so stressed out by the breakdown he couldn't focus as we were there past end of reservation time and didn't know the area or how to proceed. The man at this business was relaxed, helpful and calm. He patiently guided my husband thru several diagnostics and eventually helped my husband get the camper down FOR FREE! We are truly thankful for this vacation angel. I would expect he would treat all customers with kindness and respect.

We pulled off the interstate because one of oir rear wheels on our toyhauler were smoking. Bearing's and brake shoes were completely shot.Called Mobile Rv repair (Chad) and he came out checked to see what we needed went and got the parts and had us back on the road in no time at all.You won't find a nicer person. Chad really helped us out of a bad situation and his prices are so reasonable. Wow what a pleasure to meet such an honest person. You won't go wrong having him repair anything for you.Thanks Chad, our family truly appreciates everything you did for us!

Chad Saved my husband &I from having to sleep in a hot RV all night. Was very helpful in every way. Patient as well as guiding us through everything. I definitely reccomend this place for any RV repairs.

Just moved to Illinois and our heat wouldn't come on. Of course it was a Saturday night at 7pm, Google said he was open until 12am, did not believe it but called anyway. To my disbelief he answered. He talked me through it and was able to helped me get it working. Saved me a service call. I will definitely use him for all.my repair needs.

Chad saved us by coming to our campsite when our awning motor broke. He helped us to take down the awning before a major storm hit the campground. He came back the next day with a replacement motor and got us back on the road. Thanks Chad

One busy man! Refrigerator went out. Took a little while but he got it fixed and didn't have to take my camper to the dealership 200 miles away and let it sit for two months waiting to get repaired.

Took forever to get him to finally show up back in august, said he needed to get a diagram and would be back , have not seen him since and it s mid November, I would not recommend relying on this service you are better off calling someone else or fixing it yourself. Two thumbs down
