I was transporting an oversize load for my business when I blew a hole in the radiator. RPM got me in immediately, removed the radiator, sent it out for repair, re-installed and had me back on the road the same day....at a reasonable cost. The best part... no more antifreeze leaks. Hard to find reputable, efficient truck repair on the road. Thank you RPM.

This is a good shop. One of the few that work on Volvo D13s. They got me in and to my surprise, they had already picked up the parts for my truck and were waiting for me to pull in. All the dealers were giving me a 1 and 2 week wait times just to see me but RPM came through when it mattered.Now dont think this is some flimsy operation, you are not going to pay street mechanic rates.So give them a call, what do you have to lose but a week or two down time at a dealer? Ask for Steve or Dan.( injector and cups ,trim codes programmed, overhead ran, filters changed- about 8 hours and out the door).

Had issues with my turbo and they did an amazing job. since day 1, very straight forward. no bs. I strongly recommend using them if you are in the area. fast service, decent price and great customer service

Wasn t impressed with these guys. Not only are they inept, it would seem, that they might be padding the bill. If you like to pay for the OJT training of your mechanic, this is the place for you. If you like greasy mechanics to sit inside your sleeper and get your bunk so filthy that you have to swing by Walmart to get new sheets, then this is the place for you. I mean, is it that difficult to put a piece of plastic or something down before sitting? Will never come back to these clowns, and I m local.

I called a few shops in Effingham with a kind of unique problem I had with an aftermarket sleeper, as most parts are custom made by the manufacturer. After being told "we can't help you" several times by the shops I called, these guys told me to "come in and we'll get you fixed up". Not only did they get me in pretty fast, they took the time to fabricate an identical part (airbag support for bunk) and charged a beyond reasonable amount. A big THANK YOU to all of you at RPM!

Wow. Great shop hour rate, wonderful shop service and knowledge. Diagnostic was done well. Making sure to fix only what is needed with a free look over on everything else.Definitely NOT throwing darts at a board here.Thank you very much to everyone involved in handling my truck.

The mechanic was extremely knowledgeable and worked extremely hard for 4 hours straight. Wasn't constantly taking breaks at my expense. Had to get a little creative to remove and install the old and new part and stepped right up.Extremely good pricing. Old time service. It was an emergency repair on a holiday weekend and not one grumble or excuse and it was a pretty hard job. Definitely a great experience all things considered. Only got a 4 because of the parking lot but if it keeps prices down its not that bad.

Travelling through effingham,IL as alway to get to the east coast only difference this time is that my truck was overheating. I stoped on the exit 159 ramp effingham for about and hour to half hour to get it to cool down called road service on Monday 8/01 7pm. The tech never showed up. Went to TA The next day they worked on it from 8am to around 12 noon with no luck of repair. Just wasted time and money RPM truck repair in Effingham, IL was the only shop that got me in same day started diagnosing immediately and the next day did more diagnostic and solved the issue. Everyone at RPM went above and beyond.

We were passing thru on our way home to Arizona and discovered we had a fuel leak in our truck. RPM took really good care of us and got us back on the road in a reasonable time frame and minimal cost. Nice, honest people, highly recommend.

Excellent place, nice ppl. Got in and out with my problem solved within 1 h . On top of that I've got a 50$ voucher which will come of my next job done here for a job that was only 92.58 . Now that's more than half of the price that I've payed.Thanks a lot

Been there twice, last time they did work after TA screwed up big with my air compressor and almost messed up my engine. RPM was a life saver, was excelent from a first phone call, service writer and tech. One of the most honorable company I have delt with in past 15 years. Number 1 choice in Midwest. We have it as priority shop within 400 miles. We will pay for towing, couple of thousands as long as it ends up in RPM shop, definitely worth the money and stress. Thanks for excelent, stress free work you have done on my truck and taking care of my driver.New add.They called me after a month and after 3 months, making sure truck is working and their work still stands. Amazing, they are simply amazing.

Please, stay away from this business. They will rip you off! I had a break down and called RPM. They said that they would send a mechanic out to look at it. 3.5 hrs later he showed up. I asked the owner how much it would be before sending anyone out. He told me $1.75 a mile and $102 an hr for labor. After the mechanic showed up I looked at my watch so I would know exactly how long he was there for. It was a simple electrical short and he taped it up and exchanged the fuse. Took him 35 min. Then the owner called me with the bill and charged me $226 dollars because he told me that it had taken his mechanic 2.2 hrs! What a joke. I called him out on it and he told me that it took the tech 45 min to load up his stuff into the truck and drive the 14 miles to get to me. I didn't believe that for one minute so I asked the mechanic how long it had taken him and he told me 15 min. Then the owner started to threaten to send the police if I didn't pay the amount he "said" it was. This shop is dishonest! Look at their other reviews online. This owner has a history of ripping people off and being dishonest.

My truck was showing Derate in 3 hours. My company found RPM and they pulled me in with no questions asked. The manager was really nice and professional. And the mechanic was also. Got me in and out in a timely manner. I would definitely refer them to anyone. Thank you.

Very professional and honest people doing a great job. Even though I am over a thousand miles away from this business it is still worth the drive to have my truck worked on by them. They are a great shop with great staff. Just wish there was more repair shops like this one.

Huge mistake in choosing this place to fix my truck. They do not communicate with you unless you contact them. I understand being busy, so dont tell me you will call me back, because you don't! Trying to get a straight answer is like waiting for snow in Phnx AZ.5 days later my injector is replaced. 1 day after that i have diesel in my oil again. Well, you can bring it back here...Never again will you people touch my truck.After i take it to another shop lets see how much money you give back for the labor i have to pay twice for now.I forgot to mention, im 1000 miles away from there, under another load and headed in the opposite direction, when they say you can bring it back here. No offer of helping me out in any other way.My advice, stay away from them, or find out the hard way.

I hate to share bad experiences........butI went to RPM with a bad transmission.I knew for sure that it was bad.I had found a replacement transmission myself before going there.They took it upon themselves to "inspect" my truck. They charged me $226 to insist that my transmission wasn't bad.I made it to Dayton Ohio where the transmission came apart and left me on the side of the road.Wrecker bill, purchase transmission, find shop again and was charged $226 for nothing.Never ever go here for more than an oil change......maybe.

Well, to begin with, I was traveling through Effingham with a load and my engine through a valve. Needed a complete overhaul with new head, new Turbo, pistons, rings, ect... I have been driving for many years and I have never been treated like family from someone so far away and someone in this type of business. They were nothing but professional and I appreciate everything that they have done for me. They come highly highly recommended. Very very professional!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to everyone at RPM truck repair!

This was are second time back to the shop, we were very pleased the first time and again pleased the second time. I called them on Friday and ask if I could get in Saturday morning Shawn told me they were only opened mon- Fri . I explained the problem I was having and he told me he would meet me there at 7:00 am Sat. Morning They worked on my truck until it was finished. I have found a new shop that will treat me rite and not over charge like most shops. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone . they work on anything that runs on diesel and there mechanics are very good. Thanks again Shawn , Bob and the crew at RPM..

I would highly recommend this shop. I was coming across 70 and my check engine light came on and my engine deregulated I called the shop and they said they could fit me in. So I went to the shop, at the time they were pretty busy but I went to the service desk and was greeted with respect and kindness he took down my info and I waited about 30 minutes and they had me in the shop 2 mechanics came and looked at my truck and started looking for the problem. They explained everything they were doing. they found the problem fixed it and I was out of there in about 5 hours I was very pleased with both there work and the bill. I figured the bill was gonna be much higher then it was. They were very far with me and I was pleased. If I ever need work again and I'm near that area that's where I will go. Thanks for all the help guys.

Went in to this place for a front leaf spring replacement. Was told at first it would be 4 to 6 hours labor. Just had this same procedure done at another shop the total cost out the door at that shop was $1100. Same labor rate at this shop. So I was figuring around the same price. Boy was I wrong the price here was $2100 only difference is they replaced both front shocks in the process removing 3 more bolts. Wow won't ever go back here or recommend this place to anyone.

These guys are awesome. It's really hard to find a shop like this nowadays. Luckily my check engine light came on and I was less than a mile away. They know what they're doing and it shows. Great prices and you get a free inspection just to let you know if anything else is going on. I'll most definitely be back.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I am from out of town and I was in the area and my truck was starting to over heat, I called the guys at RPM and they were extremely great at getting my truck in the shop diagnosed and repaired almost immediately I highly would recommend this shop to any one who is having trouble with their diesel.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

They scammed me.I came in about an AC issue, i told them it had just been recharged & checked for leaks & i asked them to just check the expansion valve.3 hours later, they told me the expansion valve was working properly & pressure was good, cycled good. But claim to have evacuated and recharged the freon anyway & then charged almost $600 for doing something i specifically said didnt need to be doneBesides who charges $600 to recharge an AC system???& still having the exact same issue, a complete waste of time and money.Go anywhere else

Oil change for 308.00!!!you would think at that price they would reset your oil life in the dash and put a sticker in your window... nope! Also it took almost 3 hrs if you cant even do a good job on an oil change, why would anyone trust you guys to do anything else.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Awesome! We were unable to start our motorhome at a local campground the day before Thanksgiving at 2pm. They were there within an hour & we were running again.Happy Thanksgiving to the RPM family!You sure saved ours ~

Truck broke down 3 miles from had no choice but to come here, barely made it (wiring issue) after paying a bill I thought for sure they didn't fix the actual issue. To my surprise a week later truck is driving perfect. Great guys!!!!!!

Way overpriced!I was quoted over $800! for an overhead adjustment on a Volvo D13 engine.I turned around, called a Volvo dealership and I was quoted $425, which is right were the price should be.I'm glad I called before going in to this shop.
