I have been coming to National Brake for over 3 years now for all my regular and unexpected maintenance. Lou and his team are amazing! They are kind, honest, and quick. I am always pleased.

One of the only honest places I ve been. They ve been so helpful Lou is really friendly and they always go out of their way to explain everything they have competitive prices, and I trust them with my cars That says a lot.

My Jeep Wrangler developed a problem where in reverse my left rear wheel locked up. It was determined the parking brake was intermittently making contact with the brake drum causing the lock. This could ve led to a major problem if I was driving and it decided to lock up at highway speeds.I called the location, told them it was drivable (and we had a spare vehicle). He got me in within 2 days. I dropped my vehicle off early without a complaint. Without delay, the morning of, Lou contacted me and advised he found the issue, explained it clearly and provided estimates. He called me roughly 3.5 hours later to tell me it was all done. The estimate was higher than even they though and saved me $250. I later called around to find that they were the cheapest place around.I was shown the part upon arrival, showed me exactly what was causing the issue, explained the repair and even offered to show me how the new rotors and brakes looked (I had already seen them before I came in). I ll need to return in 2 weeks for a final adjustment on the parking brake (free) to ensure it s working properly.The place isn t some over the top fancy showroom with tons of overhead in expenses, which helps save me money. I could see the equipment inside was of the same type (and better) than most places I ve seen so far (it seems the non national chains are making investments in useful items instead of making things pretty ).I hope my review was helpful, I m including photos of the building and from my failed part.The only complaint, if at all, is the parking lot is a little tight, but neither out arrival or departure was a problem. Since other people had cars there (and people walking around) I didn t photograph the entire lot or facility.

I've just recently started going here. They were suggested by a friend. I've had my truck A/C repaired. Today I had the oil pressure sensor replaced.Lou, the owner and the staff are experienced and friendly.Prices are fair and they work quickly to do the repairs. Everything is explained so you know what to expect.The facility is nice and clean.

They did a good job on all my brakes and were very friendly. They were upfront about their job prices and stayed close to what they estimated. They also finished the job in the estimated time frame. Thanks!

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to National Brake & Automotive. They have been instrumental in keeping my daughter's car running - it is a 2000 Honda Accord with almost 300,000 miles! Lou, the owner, treats it like he would treat his own child's car. She is away at college and he still goes the extra mile to make sure she is taken care of. Literally, above and beyond. I would never call anyone else.He also helps me with my precious Lucy. Please give them a call if you need your car taken care of. They are right in town across from the Farm Bureau!Lou - congrats on a wonderful establishment. I am in town visiting a friend from several hours away and had some issues with a vibration that concerned me. It was recommended that I take the car to see Lou by a military friend of my husband. They were obviously very busy, but were able to work me in quickly and fixed the issue so that I could travel back home and feel safe. Lou did not have to get me in as quick as he did, but I am so thankful for he and his team. It is nice to be reminded of the good and hard working folks around that are willing to help someone out when they are in need. Thank you all so very much!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible place my husband had a blow out called them the lady just told him the price and left dead air on the line so he hung up then he arrived and they was all horrible!! Very unprofessional in my opinion where I work we have aMechanic and auto body shop and we strive to help every customer there is especially the ones in dire need

Super friendly and fast repairs. Lou and his team will not let you down. They also don t try to sell you unnecessary repairs. I ve been using them for years. If I could give them more stars I would!!! We moved from Missouri to Illinois, needed work on my husband's truck. We went to a different garage and got ripped off on one repair, so we left and took it to National Brake & Automotive. Half the price the other guy was going to charge me for brakes!!! They are truly honest and had my truck back to me the same day. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great mechanic!

Great honest work and good quality work best prices in the area. I live 30 mins away and have taken personal and work vehicle here for years. We have gone to many repair shops and never got this type of quality repair
