They were able to fit me in when my car broke down almost 1,000 miles from home. The repair was fast and done right. They checked everything to make sure it was all good to go. Would recommend to anyone in the area. The staff was kind and courteous and made sure I knew what was needed from the start.

Absolutely terrible experience. Starter went bad on my Honda so had it towed to Meineke in edwardsville, IL. Was given an expensive quote but was assured they could order the part and have it done by the next business day. 2 days pass by, no updates. Finally get my car and it sounds bad when it turns over. The mechanic acted as if I was overreacting. I refused to take it and spoke to the manager. He promised it would be fixed the next day and that I was his top priority. They waited til almost closing time, nearly 6 pm to call and tell me it was ready. I started the car, sounded much better and he gave me a free oil change. Got the oil change and come to find out the plug was barely tightened.

Very satisfied with my service. Got my car back after a few days and the process between Meineke and the Warranty company was so easy. We were able to make an appointment and be seen on the same day. I like how they use a software to keep you informed on the status of your car and the repairs it needs. Our car was fixed and ready to drive the following day.

Had a rock stuck in my break plate. Took about an hour. They do free break inspections so it was free. Definitely recommend.

I stopped by because I had a low tire warning and the staff went out of their way to check each tire and fill them up to where they needed to be. Everyone here was professional and friendly. I liked that the had a children s play area, WiFi, and (for parents) there is a baby changing station in the restroom.

My daughters car started misfiring and driving really rough on a Thursday afternoon. I took her car straight to meineke and explained what we were experiencing. The guy at the front desk was helpful and gave me his thoughts on what it could be and an estimated time on when it could be looked at. Early the next morning I had 2 different estimates based off best case and worst case scenarios. They were quick about getting the repair done and keeping me informed of the status along the way. The repairs were made quickly. And they made sure to run all tests to ensure the repairs that were made fixed the issue. My daughter had her car back just 24 hours later.Service: Auto engine tuning

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. But I give them 1 for the assistant manager because he was cool. Basically, I towed my car to them. They had my car in their parking lot for 2 weeks, but did not do any work on it! They did not give me an update about them not being able to do anything about it, they were babysitting my car. Just picking up dust, just taking up space in their lot. I got it towed to a different place because they was wasting my time and playing in my face.

Don t take your car here or any other Meineke shop for that matter. I learned today at my local Toyota Dealership that whomever put brake pads (Meineke) on my 2015 Toyota Corolla messed them up and basically I ve been driving around with hazardous brakes. One of the reasons I eventually stopped going to Meineke was that I started to feel that I was spending a lot more money than if I were to take my car to my Toyota Dealership. Many things that I paid for at Meineke I told my dealership about in which they said a lot of it wasn t necessary. The only reason that I even started going to Meineke was because it was a lot closer to home. Will never step foot into one again and will highly suggest others to not go there. Waste of money and puts customers in serious risk.Service: Tires

Google AND their door both say open till 6:00, but when you call, they are closed at 5. Was really hoping to get my tire fixed after getting a flat on my way home from work. Even made it to the place before the website and door says they are supposed to be open. If you click on their website button, it also says closes at 5. What a joke.

I have become a fan of Meineke for two major reasons over the dealership and my previous mechanic: 1. I appreciate being able to schedule a diagnostic and getting my car back in a reasonable time without having to pay anything down first. 2. I appreciate their work effort and generosity in being up front with me about cost and whether or not they are booked and unable to fit my car in. It is very appreciated. And just to give a comparison, my last mechanic did not have a stable scheduling system and would often have my car most of the day just waiting on an oil change.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

Left with steering wheel off center and still drifting to the left. Also did not receive paperwork with before and after results. Went back and staff offered no solutions and seemed to want to blame tires even though I know better. I actually paid for a tire rotation to put the better tires on the front (2wheel alignment). The paperwork they offered after going back showed everything still way out of spec. During the discussion after going back a tech even mentioned having problems with the alignment machine previously. I went across the street to Dobbs and they fit me in and completed the alignment perfectly and also recommended I go back for a refund. Meineke refused to give a refund at the store. I also called the Belleville location as I was told the owner and area manager were there. They ignored my request for a call back. Do not go to Meineke, go across the street to Dobbs. I went in for an oil change. It took them an hour to get my car on the lift and in the air. They completed the oil change and started it up, oil shot everywhere leaving a huge mess in the shop and all over the engine of my car, the oil filter wasn t properly installed, so they drained it and gave me a new one and new oil. 2.5 hours for a simple oil change. I get home and it s leaking oil because they didn t clean my engine bay, please don t go here. Take your business somewhere else.Service: Oil change

Doug is a very nice & friendly person with a great attitude and customer service. Also the tech did a great job as well. Service was excellent. Doug & the tech also discussed other issues found with my vehicle. Pictures were used to provide a better understanding on those issues. Photos were sent directly to my phone for clarity. Great atmosphere, great service, & great staff at this location. I will return for other services when needed & will let others know who seek complete excellence all under one roof. Had a coolant leak thought it was a hose based on where it was leaking, they were able to get my car in that day found out it was a cracked radiator, a little pricey for what I make an hour but it was worth it. They had the part replaced before 11am the next day which was quick. I would recommend. Plus they give detailed pictures and notes to your phone while checking out your car, its awesome

I ve gone to this Meineke a few times now as I just moved to Edwardsville and needed a reliable auto shop for my van. Both Doug and Nathan have provided exceptional services and been extremely friendly! The pricing is also great, especially considering how expensive cars can get. Dropped my car off Friday morning I had to call them for updates on my car. They kept telling me at the end of the day it would be ready. Then it turned into Saturday it would be ready after having my husband call they told him Monday afternoon. Went a weekend with no car had to cancel all my plans. Car fob returned to me broken and they said oh well . It will be $160 for me to replace it after they broke the buttons. Didn t fix the suspension problem either. They told me they didn t hear it. It s very loud when I turn I ve even had others ask if I hear it after they have heard it as I pull away.Service: Auto brake repair

DO NOT GO HERE. They do not know what they're doing. My car was taken here for a repair. $1,000+ later and 68 miles down the road, the car then over heated and engine was ruined. My family contacted them and was told they couldn't help and it wasn't their fault. No one from management or at the corporate office would speak to me and I was told no refund could be made as it was fine when my mom drove away. I have advised my insurance company to remove them from recommended "repair shops" and they're currently looking into it. In the meantime, take your car elsewhere, they will not stand behind their work.

I highly recommend this location over a lot of car shops in town! I was calling around to a few places before choosing one, and Meineke was able to get me in in 2 days, while most other places wanted me to wait until the next week, but that wasn t possible with a 1 car family. They had my problem fixed the same day I brought it in. I really appreciated how quick they were able to complete my repairs and I will definitely go back to them if I have more problems in the future :)Service: Brakes

Had a bit of a wait when I got there, as nobody was in the front, but Nathan was very helpful. He gave me a price quote and then explained I could pay over time with the credit card with no interest to help soften the blow of my repairs. The next day someone called to tell me it was done but I got left on hold for 15 minutes to check on my tires and then disconnected. When I called back several times, nobody answered. Nathan called the next day and apologized for that and took care of my tire situation. I liked the text updates about my vehicle and could follow what was going on. This is a continued review from my review at the highland location installing my rims with incompetence. Mike at the Edwardsville location seemed like a great guy that truest wanted to help fix the mistake the Highland location caused.. I had dropped my car off to be rebalanced due to shake from the previous location not balancing my tires. Meineke had my car from 11am till 4pm. Upon picking the car up, I was told that the everything was in balance and that the rims were warped and that they needed to be road force tested.. so I had to make an appointment with a different company to find out which rim was bent.. come to find out from the other company that the wheels were not close to being balanced & there were no signs of weights ever being on the rims. So they balanced the rims they way they should be and I haven t had any issues since. No rims were bent. & I m still unsure why I drove a month with a car that shook.. keep in mind that the car is brand new with less than 3000 miles on it. I ve learned my lesson & I will no longer use a shop that s not the dealer. That s what I get for trusting an outside company
